Hey guys,

My wife sat for IELTS examination with IDP MOD more than a fortnight ago.The result was to be released few days ago but to her greatest surprise,the result was withheld by IELTS.

They claim in the mail sent to her that they are investigating her scores in the examination.For record purpose,this is the third time she would be sitting for the examination.The first attempt,she had over all band score of 6.5.The second attempt her band score dropped to 6.0

This third time,she truly put in her best because the two previous attempts were really not with much efforts.She was very expectant this time only for IELTS IDP MOD to write to her that they are investigating her scores.

They told her to send a written statement supporting her performance in the examination.This she did few days ago.I advised her to attach some of the study materials she downloaded online,outcome of the mock tests in reading, writing and listening conducted by the centre she was coached.She did as advised and she got a message from them that they will get back to her through their local office in my state after the investigation.

My wife is traumatized due to this especially when it is not definite on what to expect.

Is there anyone who had experienced this before?If yes,what was the outcome and how long are likely to wait for this impasse to be resolved?

Has this been resolved and how long did it take to get results.

I wrote an IELTS exam with British council on 10 July and I got a mail on withheld results.

I suggest you use your Father or Mother if they are alive.

Some VOs can be nasty. No one would question the validity of gift given by parents

Don't sweat it. You simply need to send an email the OINP email address telling them about the expiry. Provide details of the old profile and new profile. It isn't a big deal.

Guys...is it safe to submit my application without the upfront Medicals and upload an LOE.

I have scheduled my medical for a date in January.

I'm your PR application...you submitted Mutual Funds Letter. Did you submit the statement that comes with it just the balance letter alone?

Print out your PPR letter, fill the eye colour and Height chat on the letter for the principal applicant and all dependents
Fill out IMM 008 if your family no had changed
Get someone in UK to assist in paying transmission fees to VAC London (see attached) The cost is £15.85 X no of International Passports sent.
Print out evidence of payment and attached (you may ask input your UCI no while making payment as reference)
Include 2 photographs for all family member with names and DOB written on the reverse side as well as address of the studio and date pix taken.
Fill and include consent letter for each member of the family to allow VFS accept and give your Passport from/to your chosen courier service (DHL is recommended)
Put International passport for all family members in one envelope with other documents (ensure at least 6 months validity of each int. passports)

Head on to your chosen courier service and send all document in one envelope or package. sit tight and expect to be contacted when your COPR is ready for collection. Then you go back to your courier service to pick up and deliver to your house.

How old can a pof letter be from submission date.

I understand it's better as close as possible to submission date.

Would a two weeks old letter obtained after ITA be a problem?

A single applicant who max out IELTS..and has two or more certificates and below 30 should have at least 474.

Adding you to the profile shouldn't bring it too low.

Use your wife as primary applicant....ensure you select two or more certificates for her and see what the crs tool brings out.

May I ask, is she in accounting department of the bank?

Quick question on POF.

1. Please is it acceptable to show POF as Mutual Fund Letter only without the statement that comes with the letter. I am using gift deed covering 100% of the amount.

2. I part liquidated the funds (N1m) and returned it within a week. If I submit the Mutual Funds Statement which shows this transaction, could this be an issue for me?

I haven't gotten ITA but expect to by the next draw.

I know someone that submitted on 11th and nothing has changed since then. They updated their processing timelines recently. They now process HCP applications between 60-90days, but that's not to say that it can't happen earlier than that. I guess they released that to take the pressure off a bit but our Indian brothers no go still hear word lol.

No, I don't think you should be worried since your POF shows that you've got more than enough. Also, OINP gives you the chance to clarify whatever ambiguity they find in your application so I think they will contact you if they have queries about that.

That said, they seem to be a bit slow with processing of application recently. When did you submit your application and what stage is it? Assessment or DIP?

I submitted a few days ago. Status hasn't changed since.

A colleague got her nomination within 3 weeks of submission earlier this year.

I am hoping mine moves as fast as that too.

Had same issue (OINP too) and I only realized weeks after submission when I was just freestyling through my downloaded application. Got worried but certificate of nomination came out the following week. I think if evidence of POF is up to required, you have no worries.

Hey guys I need some advice... submitted oinp application recently...went back to check again and noticed a small mistake...

Under a section were we indicate how much is available to us as settlement funds I indicated 12900 cad instead of 12960 cad Which is ircc requirement for a single applicant.

Although my pof as per documents submitted and letter of explanation is well in excess of the required amount.

Should I be worried? or do I contact them to make the correction?
