Same here brother, I am a Chelsea fan and I expect a great match tomorrow because both teams will want to perform this season, although we are going to miss Nkunku, I still think we need to improve our squad, but still, I am predicting a narrow win for my Club.

What pained me most is what our management did this summer when they cleared all our midfielders, even if you want to rebuild, you still need to leave certain players, imagine all our major midfielders leaving the club at the same time, Kovacic, Mount, Kante, Kai, Loftus, etc etc.

But one thing that I know will happen is that Chelsea win to finish in the top 4 this season because no European football for us. Glad to have you brother.

My husband is not the same man I fell in love with.

My husband changed totally after wedding day, in fact, it started on the wedding night and its giving me a lot of concern.

It's not that he is not talking to me or we are fighting, but he is not the cheerful happy person anymore.

After months of trying to get what the problem is, he finally opened up to me and I don't know what my fault is, I think he is overreacting.

My husband works in an insurance company and he is just a junior staff, he earns 150k per month, so he is not doing that bad.

When we wanted to get married, my dad wrote the wedding list and everything he would bring, when he saw them, he fumed that they were too much and they should reduce it but my dad insisted that he won't collect it twice, I also told him if he really loves me, he would provide them, he could get help from his family too, it is called bride price and other things, and it is once.

We had little issue then but he later resolved it.

He brought everything they ask him for

During the wedding, my parents told him to buy a cow, rent a hall and decorate it then they'll take care of other things. He said he didn't have money for a big hall and he would prefer a field ground but my dad insisted that rain could disrupt things and he has many people coming.

That almost cause issues too, I had to support him with 50k to get the hall because I know who my dad is, he won't back out.

I didn't know how he did it, he took the hall and designed it, he bought cow too.

His family brought food and everything went fine and that was it.

I don't know what was keeping him moody until he spoke up.

He said I couldn't fight for him, I was there supporting my parents and watch them extorting him, did I even know he had to collect loan to pay for those things?

I got angry because he used the word 'extorting'.

He was the one that wanted to have my hand in marriage and if he cherish me, he should do all they wanted since he is not paying twice.

After I said this, he stopped talking in the house, he comes home, eat and go to bed.

I tried talking to him but he would listen but not talk, he is cold to himself and prefer his privacy.

Have I said something wrong?

I don't like whats happening. My marriage is too young to be going through all these.

We also predict that this war may spill into northern Nigeria , because missiles and other dangerous military tactics will be employed by a desperate Niger Republic.


We also predict the war will end in a stalemate and Nigeria and Niger Republic will sit at the round table ,and Niger will exact it's right to its sovereignty and have its way at the negotiating table .

I passed by that Ihiala/Orsu border axis yesterday and my soul almost left by body when our bus ran into an ESN roadblock, I thought they were soldiers initially from the military gears and Camo outfits they had on, and those guys were brandishing assault rifles... it was when they ordered us out of our vehicle and threatened to deal with us for flouting the sit-at-home order that I realised na one chance wey we enter...as God would have it they let us off after some roughing up and stern warnings to always be careful cause that area was a "war zone" between them and the "Zoo military" in their own words. Truth is I doubt the Nigerian military are serious about confronting these guys, because the caliber of weapons I saw on them are the types our DSS and special units carry and it scares me to think how well funded these boys are, it's embarrassing how our military resort to comic media stunts like displaying obsolete weapons and Biafran paraphernalia that they packaged just to mask their failures...the SE governors have really messed up and it might be too late right now to tame the monsters they enabled.

To all nairalanders that I have offended be it in response to a tribal attack or being the instigator of one, I, with all my whole heart apologize to you all.

Back then, most nairalanders can testify, I use to be a very loving & engage meaningful things on nairaland until Yoruba & Igbo tribal issue started which I unfortunately fell for it. Ever since I have been engaging myself in this conflicts, I have regretted it. I don't know what happened but I know it started online but I have no excuse. I was wrong to have fell for such.

Igbos: I have offended you much more than others because of the online tribal war & superiority between us. You are the main reason I am creating this thread because my greatest offenses are against you mainly due to tribe issues.

Yorubas: I have not offended much in terms of politics but I probably other sections on nairalander that I have erred against you, my apologies.

Other tribes: I apologize to you all be it tribal, political views, business or whatsoever on nairaland.

It will be my greatest undoing if I, having being a beneficiary of igbos, Yorubas & Hausa be engaged in tribal war further more.

On the same nairaland, many igbos (for real: I mean many igbos in reality) have been very good to me, they have helped me without considering the tribal war between the two tribes, those igbos I truly commend them.

My fellow Yorubas have been of great favor to me, so many many many and many more likewise other Nigerians on nairaland.

For this reason, today being 24/July/2023 will be the day I will no more engaged in tribal conflict not engage people with insults on nairaland. Good & helpful people are much on nairaland and as someone who is growing, conflict can't help me.

Ndi Igbos on nairaland: I apologize mostly to you. I assure you that our disagreement only start and ends online but henceforth, I will no longer be indulge in such disgraceful & demeaning acts again.
