Of course, it is very important. Not many agencies of government take the medical fitness certification process as serious as DPR/NNPC and the Armed forces. Infact, a lot of them will just give you the fitness form to go and complete it. Although, it must be signed and stamped in a government hospital.

I think HpV, HIV, BP, respiratory illnesses and other major illnesses as may be revealed by scan results. A friend who once attended medicals for the army was disqualifed cos a scan revealed one of his kidney was not well positioned. He protested and conducted a scan in another private hospital and it was confirmed. Though it wasn't a threat to his health or life, but he was disqualified just for that. (Infact, that was the first time I heard of a human's kidney not well positioned). As for HIV, there is an anti-discrimination and anti-stigmatisation law signed by former President Goodluck Jonathan to protect people living with HIV from stigmatisation even in the workplace. But we all know implementation of laws is a problem in Nigeria.

NO. The day you complete your medicals is your date of first appointment and your salary commences from that date. In public service, there is a difference between date of offer of appointment and date of first appointment.

- distribution of letters suspended but those called to receive theirs tomorrow and next may still collect theirs. So there maybe no more calls until everything has been sorted.
- EH list to be slashed by half or more.
- Staff union may go on strike if their demands are not met.

See Ehn, our leaders don't have chill o, they don't like to be antagonised or attacked especially publicly. Unlike the western world if an aligation is laid on a leader, he resigns to allow investigation. But here, thugs either come beat u up, u r wrongly accused or assassinated.

However in this case, none of the afore mentioned will happen, they will only use civil service to deal with u. If for instance you push them to give u your letter, how will u feel if u don't get promoted for years despite your hard work & the frustrations they put u through?

DPR is a place u get job & a lot of people will envy you. Please don't frustrate your career before it starts

It's also worse that you are planning to use twitter and instagram where you can be easily traced.

I suggest u map out another strategy rather than wanting to drag the name of an organization you hope to work with.

Let me share a personal experience.
When I moved into a particular quarters with my husband, we were told of a man who is of the same tribe. My husband knew the man but I didn't, only heard about & barely ever seen him clearly. When I got the job I'm on now, my husband went to meet the man when I came to Abuja for documentation, hubby heard the man works in the place I just got a job and the man happened to be the HOD of the department I was posted to.
When I returned we went together to see him & that was the face time I was ever seeing the man face to face. From the way he spoke it was obvious he had issues with us/me and it was confirmed when I resumed as a colleague we did documentation together with told me the man was bragging about how he'd deal with in the office because I don't greet him... Someone I didn't know oo
He has presently formed alliance with the state Cordinator to deal with me & they r putting their plans together in a very dubious way but here I am laughing at their ignorance.
In conclusion, I'm not saying you shouldn't carry out your plans. But if you're sure, that's your instinct is telling you that you will get this job please just hide your face. Just help ur career start on a good note to enable u mentain such without much stress. If you've not worked in the civil service before & you're also agitating for this protest, just stylishly withdraw so that u don't have to verbally curse yourself after bringing frustration upon yourself due to your actions.

Hello everyone. I don't access to the list of successfuls and i don't think anyone here has access either. If the list was opened like 2013 recruitment it would have been leaked right from when it got to FCC. Even some people here were sure they would see the list the moment it hits FCC office but up till now, has anyone confirmed seeing the list with prove? Also, i want to ask about this so called "stakeholder list" and "merit list " so you really think 2 lists titled with those would have been drawn up officially and submitted to FCC? I believe there is only 1 official list and it carries all successful candidates (merit and stakeholder combined) question then is how do you determine the names for stakeholders and those on merit? I'm pretty certain everyone took the test and interview and even those that didn't take the interview with us that their sponsors came in late were still invited for another set of interviews. Some people were interviewed up until January so there is definitely a trail that they went through due process.
Lastly, if there is any grievance about this recruitment either by the masses or stakeholders that didn't get their way, they can only take up such with FCC. The moment the COC was issued, DPR cannot be held accountable for any malpractice. FCC is basically the one that will fight any grievance which i why you should know FCC wouldn't have issued COC if their own list wasn't satisfied.
I'm only stating the facts to know in order to make informed decisions. I honestly still think people will get this on merit. Merit may be slim but trust me there must be a margin for merit however, how do you prove those that got it on merit or by sponsors only from this nairaland group?
I wish everyone the best. I hope more people from here get their letters too. Everyone that has provided the platform with concrete info these past years and got their APLs earned it because to get those infos, we were basically sitting on our contacts necks throughout the process, phase by phase, pressing buttons. It doesn't mean we didn't put in the work druring the test and interviews too so please don't make anyone feel bad for getting APL ahead of others. I pray we all have reasons to celebrate soon whether for DPR or another coy.

Where a select-group' has collected APLs while there hasn't been an official action to call it off with d exercise. This country doesn't fail to disgust my very existence.
Are the HR officers and those responsible for this exercise zombies? Like who does this kind??
@Neverdown999, can we not drag this movement? I'm suggesting if after d 16th of this month (Monday) we don't get due notifications we shoot our shots. I have contacted ChannelsTV and AIT, so we have ready reporters from each. The bloggers are also hungry to sell too.

A normal applicant with just maybe a few friends in DPR or FCC cannot get access to some kind of info shared here.

My brother, there are some information posted here that only warrants people with high connection to access. Especially Legend90 and Tami.

Marvel65 is another guy with such classified info.
