Believe me province has got noting to do wif education unless u got ur own reasons. First, I ain't a "bro". Second, I have applied to 3 colleges in ontario already. I want to spread my tentacles. I heard there is work in calgary that is why I am asking. Thank you. |

tnuola: Yup. Its called postgraduate work permit.. Do you know if one can apply for another work permit if PGWP is about to expire after one year cos the course I want to do is for one year only. I saw something like open work permit OWP on CIC site for immigrants who have more than 6 months TRV but don't have employment. So my question is does PGWP qualify as a TRV which one can use to apply for OWP? |

lewoxxy: ada.
There was a link to the CIC site some one sent earlier. The link inferred that they would check if a study leave was approved by the employer for the person requesting. When my application was delayed, one of the boxes ticked was employment status. I am assuming that was because i didn't attach a study leave from my employer. But, it's also true that others have gotten TRV without attaching a leave request. I guess how long you have worked for may be a factor the VO would consider if a study leave is required. You know this would be a form of a good home tie.
I suggest if the policy of your employer and the working environment allows you to apply for a study leave, you should apply for one, just keep it as quiet as possible.
Mind you, i also work in a bank. I have eventually had a study leave approved. Ok. Thanks. I will keep that in mind when applying for my TRV. |

masterp204: Hello House.
Got another refusal letter dis evening.
my first refusal (self sponsored) reasons: 1. Purpose of visit 2. your family ties in Canada and your country of residence
. second application: Reasons were as follows:
1. Travel History 2. Purpose of Visit 3. Length of proposed stay in canada 4. your current employment situation 5. your personal asset and financial status.
When i saw all these reasons i just smiled , i felt this letter wasn't for me . cos i spent time re-writing my SOP and even sent it to some peeps here to make corrections and fixed those loopholes that led to the first delay. Anyway this were the documents i submitted.
- immigration forms - academic transcript - sponsors documents ( parents) payslip, id cards, employment letter - co sponsors company registration docs ( uncle) - SOA of sponsors and my personal SoA ( over 8 Million) - B.sc result - SOP - Affidavit of sponsorship from parents - letter of co sponsorship from uncle ( company letter headed ) - letter of support from parents - my CV - SSCE cert. - previous travel to dubai, SA and UK - my parents landed documents - my landed document and registration certificate - my previous work and business registration certificate/ tax receipts and certificates - tuition deposit $CAD 7000
Going for a 2 years PGD course in Business Management - International Business @ Lambton College Sorry dear but I don't see any IELTS and TOEFL Scores in all u have stated. I also think you submitted too many documents which I believe it gives them avenue to see more reasons to deny the person visa. Why not try again. |

The name on my uni cert was spelt wrongly but I got a letter from my school stating that the name is being corrected which I am to use to apply to schools for now. I just want to know my chances to gaining admission with the letter. Please advice me on what to do cos my school is correcting it but they said it will take a long time.
Please for those that applied to seneca college, how did you pay for the application fee cos it is not accepting any of my ATM cards.
Thank you |

I pity the woman that will marry you. God help her. Cos from the tone of your words, you obviously are an unhappy person. coogar: whatever it is.....who cares? i am not being chased by cops, my employers value my output & sister sara is forever grateful.....
which correct father? that would be a hubby who probably borrows from his inlaw's, a hubby who sleeps over in his inlaw's house, a hubby who removes shirt to devour bowl of eba in her inlaw's house.
i am not about that. the only time i would be having tête-a-tête with any father in law is when i am paying the bride price....after then, he better minds his business & face his own wife.
if i then find out the reasons my wife has been misbehaving is as a result of her father's backing then that man would get verbally lashed. i don't even see such happening. if he looks into my eyes, he would get the message that my type cannot condone any nonsense. |

Hi. Please I need advice. I want to study real property assessment and appraisal at seneca college but was advised against it. Reason being that the course does not attract easy employment in canada. Please is this true? I would like to know the course to study as MSc or PGD that would easily get me a job in canada after graduating.
