@ada4all ur Oshc is part of your visa requirment so I don't think that is possible


@oudodi you have to enter aussy when ur oshc start that means you can't enter Aussy until the date on ur OSHC certificate.

Let more family in the house answer this but I am sure this is part of the rules as far as I know.

I actually entered Australia before my OSHC commenced and it wasn't an issue but that was in 2013. Btw, your OSHC starts on your school resumption date, and its practically impossible to travel on that date as you have orientation to attend.

Thanks lawland. I think I will just contact my school to adjust my cover like chi50 advised since I will enter over a month before my program starts to avoid issues at the border. Cheers.

Hi I'm currently living in Melbourne. and yes you can enter b4 ur oshc starts, all u have to do is to contact d school if d oshc was organised by them or contact the insurance company if u did it urself. and let then know u want to update ur oshc as u want to come earlier. I did d same, d date of expiration was changed n dat was when I got here...

lol. you shouldn't be scared at all. iom is genuine n that's what most of us here used to travel. You can read up their website, especially the Australian iom website. Their officials will even receive u in dubai. I paid in lagos too n I travelled with Emirates. iom however, is not for visiting visa unfortunately.

Now I realized why I Cudnt use my Cic because I filled a form saying use of a representative!if I had bin on these thread earlier my pple wudnt have to use a representative in canada....

As I don read say nobody can guarantee ur visa application ....but have mailed nd they replied the Embassy is also aware of d resumption date nd we would all get a reply before then.....lets keep our fingers crossed as dre is little we can do till we hear frm CIC...I believe all app would be on fast track now has many pple resuming for fall haven't goten a reply yet ....

Well house...the refusal after medicals trend is still on o!!!... my wife and 2 other people I know all got delayed today. One funny thing is...they all have the same reasons for the refusal:

1. Travel history (she has been to dubai twice...well except they don't regard dubai at all).
2. Purpose of visit ( I don't get this at all)

3. Personal asset and financial status (she submitted her personal SOA along with her employment and recommendations letter from her office...we also added 2 land documents that are in my name...I thought that should be okay or are they expecting her to have her own personal assets?)

I will need gurus in the house to help out on these reasons as she hope to refire as soon as possible

However, the big question is...why wait till after medicals before the refusal? I wish I know the answer sah..

But it's now official...Medical call DOES NOT guarantee TRV.

I'm Styling, please i need your advice. I sent in my Study visa application at the VSF global office in Lekki on 10th June 2015 and on the 17th i got an update that my Visa application is being processed at their CVAC Accra. After that update on the 17th June 2015, no new update again.

You can actually do this on ur own. I got admission into 3 colleges by myself. Just Google what u want and follow instructions. It's very straight forward. Don't waste money for nothing o.

I applied 9th of June but no response. Tomorrow will be 7 weeks.

well...I chose seneca for a couple of reasons: I like the look and feel of the school cos I viewed it using Google 360 view. It's on the school site. Another reason is the course content of my program. I prefer that of Seneca to humber. Those are the things you look at.

why do u say so? Which is better Seneca or humber? Although Seneca requires information about agents on their application and I do not want to use an agent. They are all expensive and unreliable

I also got admission into seneca and humber without an agent....it was quite straight forward....the agent part of the form is optional. You don't have to fill it.

Medical Done 13th of July, I don't know when medical result was received cos vfs tracking kept saying "application being processed"
Visa approval mail 22nd of June.
