Greetings all,

Please could someone please help me with this question, I would so much appreciate feedbacks.

My annual leave is scheduled for the month of March and I'd like to apply to the US Embassy here in the UK cos I'm on a work permit visa here in UK.

When I navigated to their website I figured UK citizens don't apply for Us non immigrant visa becos they are exempt through the visa waiver program so I didn't see UK in the list of countries during my DS 160 application portal.

Can someone work me through this please? How can I apply if the country I'm currently based is not in the list, I could only find Northern Ireland. Please your input would be appreciated.

Taa.

It depends on your location in Lagos. Go to Airport or Ikeja around Lagos airport hotel. Beware of scammers
Please I'm around that ajao estate close to the airport road, I've been trying to pop you an email but it can't pull through.

Can you please tell me where is best and close to my proximity?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Yes it does. They will tell you the actual state of your application e.g Decision made, not straightforward, still under processing etc. They will however not be able to tell you the decision or the actual time tls will contact you.
Thank you veli veli much

Goodmorning all!

Please has anyone done the paid email enquiry for an application that has passed the normal processing time?

Moreso, is it worth it? Paying 5 pounds for enquiring into the whereabouts of your application.

Please someone should help.

No
Haaa. The internet can spread lies ehhh, and there were speculations by the media that before you board a flight from Cotonou, you have to undergo a compulsory covid 19 test worth 100 dollars and some cents.

Thanks @mwenhen.

One of those actually allow you to go in any day ,before 8am but will cost you 42k . I am not sure what it is called. With that, you can even book for tomorrow.

Ok. Here it is. Flexi allows you to walk in any day without booking an appointment. But you must come early before 8am. Prime time allows you to come anytime on your day of appointment. That is you can come in by 4pm.
Thanks bro. I appreciate your concise explanation.

Manchester is closer to Liverpool, you can take a taxi £50 or a train ≈£10 or a bus ≈£5. All depends on your pocket and the amount of load you are carrying.

Liverpool is a great multicultural city. Roots bar(African food drink and club) a lot of African stores and a healthy amount of Nigerians.

Students of the universities usually stay in either University accommodation near the campus. Or in a shared flat In either Smithtown road or Kensington.

Don't rush to buy a sim at airport it's free.
Thank you sir, I appreciate this info.
Y'all are amazing. I can't y'all enough. Peace.....

From the navigation, you can gravitate perpendicularly and transiently transit to Heathrow or Manchester on your way to Liverpool.

This is the thread you need:

Goodevening Everyone!

1. Please can anyone navigate me further on how to transit myself to Liverpool from Lagos?
Flights with Qatar airways from Lagos stops at either London(Heathrow) or Manchester and I don't know how to navigate my way to Liverpool University(got admitted for fall) if I alight at those airports.

2. What's the city life like?

3. Can I secure an apartment from here before leaving? Possibly i bedroom/studio appy.

4. Obviously EE or Lyca SIM would be preferable from what I gathered here but which is more cost efficient?

Thank you all.
