Hello guys I am new here.
My dad is planning on applying for an express entry into Canada.
He is planning on writing IELTS in August.
He has a Bsc and Msc in his related field of work which he has been in for the past 17 years.
He also has a managerial position and has taken many recognizable managerial courses.
It seems the eligibility has turned out ineligible in the eligibility checker so the only possible way is to get a job offer.
Aside that, we are looking at preparing the documents that would be necessary for us to submit the applicaton. I would like to know what these documents are.
I want someone to please brief me on the entire express entry application process, what to do and what not to do.
I checked his eligibility for FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM and everything amounted to 63 and the cutoff is 67. Is it still possible to apply?

Please read and digest pg 1 of this thread carefully. All information you require can be found there.

Goodafternoon all, please can the primary applicant be changed later in the pool? I want to enter the pool as a primary applicant but my husband has a higher degree, however his Ielts wasnt good. He plans to write again in September or should we just create seperate profiles? Please help, its urgent.

Create seperate profile. One profile should have him as principal and u accompanying, the other u should be principal with him accompanying.

It’s not even the same thing. He’s not removing part of the money. He’s only transferring to a dom account shikena. Why inform Ircc again? It’s still his money!!! Remove from here, put here. Simple! U people like to give urselves wahala o

While i appreciate everyones opinion on this issue, its only @Dannyjuff that provided a direct answer. My brother @Dannyjuff, i was asking just to be double sure.

Japa Nation, i agree this wait is tiring and tempers are begining to flare, i just want to encourage us to hang in there, it will end in tears of Joy and gladness.God sees all effort we have put in and he will bless us with PPRs and ITAs.Amen.

Why not change it to dollars, open a dorm account and deposit it there?

Seniors, let me explain my predicament..... I have already submitted my application, eligibilty passed, now my question...

1.If i convert my existing pof to USD, do i need to inform IRCC even though eligibilty has been passed?

2. Will IRCC not frown at the new dom account since the rule is that the funds should have stayed in the account for six months?

How are you guys managing this Naira depreciation?

I am in a dilemma. I know that if CIC will use official rate to do their conversion, my POF will be enough. So I left the money in Naira because it will be significantly far off from the POF if I convert it at the current black USD market rate of over NGN500!!

However, Naira is constantly depreciating and my money is losing value everyday and I am tempted to just convert it to USD using Piggyvest with a current rate of N505:1USD. However, this will result in a shortfall of my POF by over N1million, and I will then have to hustle the rest from God knows where.

Seniors wade in on this matter abeg...
What do you suggest one can do to protect their POF.
@Ednut, @Mamaron,@ graciouswords...what are you guys doing differently cos some of us are confused!

At least he will tell me or my family members will be informed rather than be ghosted or caught unaware

My sister, i sympathise with you, however look inwards, while it may not be easy, i implore you to remain calm amd continue to pray cos the problem may be coming from your side. There are dark powers that have seen that your breakthrough will come from him and have resolved to destroy ur marriage by putting this obstacle on your part.

Pls dont be in a hurry to involve IRCC.

Ask God to fight this battle for you!

Guys please I’m back again with another question.

My sisters husband is not interested in migrating.

Will it affect my sisters application?
Can my sister apply without him?
I’ll welcome any additional advise. Thanks in anticipation

She can apply as husband non accompanying..it will have no effect except that she must provide POF that covers the size of her family irrespective of whether the husband is going with her or not.

Thank you for this but to be double sure, are you saying i can decide to not change my name all through the pr application without raising concerns? It was never my intention to change my surname to my husband's,i initially thought it would be compulsory for the process as a "Mr and Mrs thing" since they want a proof for everything

If i were in your shoes, i would change my name officially since i am claiming married. Someone on this thread(pg 573 or so) got a procedural fairness issues cos IRCC wants prove that she is actually married inspite of her provideing relevant doc.Change your names, provide one and same person document so u can close your 2 eyes and sleep as u dont know the VO that will work on ur application.

Please my husbands international passport expires in October. Due to the issues surrounding renewal presently, we have been unable to get a new one. Can we create a profile with the passport? Time is going

Go ahead and create profile...Whatever be the case you can always inform IRCC of the expiration of passport and you will be asked to submit a new one.

Dont overthink it!

Hello people,

Please how do i remove my spouse from accompanying? I haven't gotten an ITA o

Why are you removing spouse? IMO, ace the struggle together as a couple, its easier than filing for spouse later on when u have gotten PR!

Pls also check for acceptable noc codes. I know noc code A,B, O are acceptable.

Noc 6235 falls under category C which i dont think is acceptable. Pls do your finding!

Good morning Beloved people,

Is there still Dec 13 2019 AOR waiting or am I the only one?

I just read now that they are working on applications received in August 2020. Are they for real?

To the brother/sister that cant proceed to renew passport beacuse of NIN, do u have Bvn? if yes, pls follow the instruction below:

So many Nigerians have NIN and they are unaware.

The truth is that everyone that did their BVN when it was introduced in 2014 has NIN automatically assigned to them.

Just dial *346# with the same number you registered for BVN and retrieve your NIN.

Don't go to NIMC centres to queue .

@Holufumee, date on reference letter matters. Reference letters can go stale based on the date of issuing it. In my opinion, your ref letter should not be dated more than 6 months before you get ITA. it's better n safe that way to avoid unnecessary LOE.

Dear All, I have been a silent reader, learning and using other peoples testimonies to keep the faith that mine will come. Kudos to all those who make out time to answer questions and make clarifications.

I am Dec 13, 2019, AOR, Sydney VO. My questions are as follows:
Is there anyone here who shares the same vo and aor and has received PPR recently?

I ordered for GCMS notes on the 15th of Oct and afterwards, I noticed that the webform link on my CIC account is nowhere to be found, this has been on for over a week now. is this a glitch or should I be worried?
