Romance / Why Do Siblings See Themselves As Competition? by adaperry25: 12:31pm On Sep 21
Might be a long thread
My younger brother sees me as a competition or foe.

I know it might sound weird but it's reality most families face. Thank God for my late dad who made sure we all read professional courses so we can be independent and comfortable.

After his undergraduate studies, my brother stayed with me for 2 years and I endured the worst I can get from a brother. Tho I feel it's not just him. I have a feeling my sister and uncle might be involved in the conspiracy. The deal might be to eliminate me as the first son so he can take over. Sounds surprising ? But I've had many pointers to this.

My uncle once told me after my dad's death that I'll be facing war soon. This was after I told him in confidence my issues with my siblings how they don't listen to my advice and always feel they know too much. At the end, what I warned about will still happen. They did this to my dad before he passed away.

Even little house chores that I'll send him, he will do it reluctantly. Sometimes, he will be playing music indirectly at me mockingly or making calls saying I think I know it all. I have called him privately to know if I did anything wrong and he said I did nothing that he doesn't have any issues with me.

I've even posted on our family group for anyone to voice out their grievance and till date, no one has come up to say anything. But their actions speak otherwise.

The only persons who understands my problems are my mom and our last born.

My younger sister had a wedding and since I was staying kinda close with my brother, I expected him to come over so we'd plan the wedding together but for over one year he relocated to my location, he hasn't visited me for once.

I will ask and hed say he's occupied with work .

There are many I can't say here but it's been of great concern .

I feel my family is divided.

Need your advice.

I've not directly experienced this in my family.

In your family issue,i think it's majorly parental upbringing...
Their might be external forces or selfish desires.. But trust me, it goes along way with how you guys were being brought up.

A quick advice: stay away from home for now,and be in the lives of those that respects you. It's best you build your own empire..

OK bye..
Thank you

there is a huge difference between a babe/GF and a wife...
- a babe/GF shouldnt do shit nor support you until you marry her (just like a man shouldnt do shit for a GF until she is his wife)
- a wife should support you without you having to ask her, but in order for her to know everything that is going on, you FIRST must be fully honest with her about the whole situation (and talk to her when things are not well).

seem u don't get my point.

A few examples.

I expect my woman when we go on dates to put a restrain on me when I'm excessively spending..I might insist on going on with the purchase but in my mind, I'll be glad I have a manager.

We may want to make a meal or buy something for the house and she suggests on contributing , no matter how little, I may tell her to shrug off , but I'll be happy she is a conscious person.

The ones I'm meeting don't say anything. They just keep quiet and be eating .

Please I need clarification.
Would you tell your babe or wife about your financial status before she agrees to support if she has or would you allow her see things for herself before she decides to help out

Science/Technology / How Can I Charge My Solar Generator At Night by adaperry25: 9:40pm On Apr 20
I recently got a 1000w solar generator and 2 180w panels. I noticed a few things.

1. At night..when I charge with nepa..it takes forever to charge well. Infact the bars doesn't move but from 7am..it starts charging well and gets full fast within 3-4 hours.

2. When I use nepa to charge and it gets full 100%..if nepa takes light and I change over to solar..the bars drop to 80 or 60%.

Please I need advise how I can optimize the solar generator.

I attached the pic

Romance / Is It Important To Discuss Finances Before Marriage by adaperry25: 8:24am On Apr 12
I told my fiancee that we needed to discuss finances before marriage as that's one of the issues many couple face in marriage.

So I told her I'll do major of the responsibilities and would like to know what her input would be.

She responded by saying she's only meant to support and a fixed role shouldn't be assigned to her that it's only when I'm not capable of doing something that she would assist .

So I need inputs from experienced married people.

I really don't understand you people that wish the country bad. What makes it worse is that 90% of you people earn in Nigeria. I earn in dollar, when there is inflation, my dollar gives me an edge or at worse cancels things out for me ( my buying power doesn't diminish ) but most of you people wishing hell on Nigeria earn in naira. Almost like putting fire to your one and only house with no escape route.

Quiet senseless if you ask me.
so our wishing good will make the dollar drop to 500.
