The spate of crime in Rivers State now is at its peak n d chief security officer should be held responsible. It is very disappointing to hv a CSO that cannot proffer a lasting end to d rising crime in the state. It is very unfortunate n painful what goes on in Rivers State. This is the highest I hv seen since I was born.
It seems the criminals are on someones payroll.

Banana works well and is easy to mash.
Mango is also a good option.
You can try other sweet fruits as well.

Stil an infant. I'll advise you discontinue the antifungal. But if the discomfort is unbearable, you can continue with it.

Pls are u referring to antifungals generally or the particular one i'm using (gynotiocosid)?

Oh! Antifungal suppository. Well, it wld get to the breastmilk. Maybe, not a significant amount wld infiltrate the breastmilk. How old is the baby?

Probably because powder (especially Talc) is very irritating to babies' lungs. Its particles are too big and easily settle in newborns' lungs, eventually causing future questions like "my baby has a cold", "my baby is always coughing" "my doctor prescribed Augmentin/strong antibiotics for my baby" etc.
Most pediatricians don't like powder, especially dusting powder and they don't really help with rashes (powders work by absorbing the excess moisture around the area, keeping the area dry and airing it/exposing it to air works even better).

Its not even advisable sef after 1 month cos of the particles getting to the lungs which can affect proper breathing. Instead of using powder dress ur baby appropriately for the weather don't cover too much don't mind people telling u babies don't recognise heat they so know heat wella. Avoid powder

Mal. Mamman Daura may not be known to a lot of people but he is today by far the most powerful person in Nigeria.

 

A bankrupt industrialist,smooth operator and an avid lover of cricket and hockey, he is not a card carrying member of any political party.

 

This man and a very few selected friends have been constantly and consistently in control of most of the behind the scene manoeuvres in and around the world of PMB before,during,after and if care is not taken,forever. A few examples;

 

Note: All the names below are qualified for the positions but it smells of nepotism and cronyism.

 

1. One of the earliest appointments made by PMB is
that of Ahmed Kuru as head of AMCON;Kuru was

groomed in the former Habib Bank,formerly partly

owned by Mal.Musa Bello,a member of the inner

caucus of the Mamman Daura led Mafia.

Kuru,a reputable banker was appointed to ease the

strangulation suffered by Mamman Daura and his

friends regarding most of their bankrupt businesses

mostly situated in kakuri industrial estate in kaduna.

(The first official visit by the opportunistic kaduna

governor,elrufai, to a private company was to one of

2. Abba Kyari,the presidents chief of staff is 100% a
Mamman Daura lackey.

 

3. Aisha Abubakar,ministerial nominee from sokoto
state and Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji’s daughter, is

another eminently qualified person who happens to

be also a daughter of a blood sister of Hajia Ummu

Daura,guess?yes. Mamman Daura’s wife.

 

4. Muhammad Bello,ministerial nominee from
Adamawa,coincidentally happens to be the first son

of Mal.Musa Bello of Habib Bank(see no.1)

 

5. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmad,ministerial nominee
from Kaduna,is the daughter of Late Yahaya

Hamza,Elrufai’s Foster father who died a few months

ago. (Find out the speech made by elrufai on visiting

the factory mentioned in 1 above and connect the

6. Sulaiman Adamu,nominee from Jigawa State is not
only the younger brother of Amina Zakari of INEC but

also a nephew of PMB and by extension related

groomed by Mamman Daura in NNN, and also

planted in PTF by same.

worked as consultants at the AfriProjectsConsortium

(Sole mega consultants to the defunct PTF) floated by

Dr. Mahmud Tukur, Mamman Daura’s business

Hi Dr,

My cousin is a first time mother (FTM) and she is 6months pregnant.
She registered for ANC quite early, being a FTM, she is not a known hypertensive. So on her first visit at abt 8-9wks thereabt, her bp was a little elevated say 140/90mmhg n it was attributed to stress n indeed it was. 2weeks later she repeated d visit n her bp was still elevated. So the gynecologist counseled her and placed her on tab vasoprin 75mg daily.
She asked of the indication n d explanation she got suggests it's routinely given for first time mothers to improve placental perfusion so to say.

For sometime now she hasn't been taking it cos of our concern over the fact that she really doesn't need to take it throughout her pregnancy, cos I know it's not an antihypertensive drug.

By the way, after her last visit she has adopted more of relaxation and her bp has been perpetually less than 120/80mmhg till date.

Questions r;
What is d role of vasoprin in pregnancy?
Does she really need it without an indication?

Kindly advice.
