The way things stand any southern region can be over run and that includes the SW. The entire south are minority in the Army. Army is now Northerner strictly.

The Army should have a quota system no region should be over represented.

It is Oil money from SOUTH SOUTH that is used to pay the Army so why should people from Katsina, Kano, Sokoto and Borno take everything.

If things are done properly, President have no business sacking anybody from the army. Each region will have their service quota.

Nigeria's military has killed at least 17 supporters of Biafran independence, according to Amnesty International.
The rights group called on Nigeria's government to investigate the deaths in the south-eastern city of Onitsha last month.
The Nigerian military described the claims as unfounded and misleading.


At least one million people died in the 1967-70 civil war started by Biafran secessionists. Protests have resumed over the past year.

According to Amnesty, some of those who died were members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob), a group campaigning for Biafran independence.

My thoughts exactly... the truth is that the action of the military on this IPOB matter is just increasing their resolve of a sovereign state. So far, Buhari haven't even tried any diplomatic approach to this. Responding to violence with violence will only result to catastrophe

Military are killing anyhow, but each life adds to the case already at the ICC. Is it so hard to understand or our Army are just blood thirsty.
