ChizzyBuna:Sorry if this sounds offensive, but please don't be offended. I just want to ask...how old are you? I asked that to help everyone reading this to know your level of comprehension and experience about life. I mean no harm or ridicule. The best way to solve the puzzle 🧩 of the delima you find yourself is to simulate the outcome of your actions and/or inactions after this discovery. Let's say you discussed this with your dad first and he made you understand that those things were used between him and your mom, and even went as far as calling your mom to bash her for not disposing them properly.... How would you feel....guess that'll ease your mind. Another scenario is that he used it on other women....the most likely probability from your own point view.... If you discuss it with him, he might feel bad for loosing his guards and letting you see his dirty side. In this instance, you can choose to educate him and even threaten to report it to your mom if he doesn't desist going forward.....with this approach, you've earned a respect that your other siblings won't have from him, and consequently keep the family intact. Another possibility is that you went on to tell your mom just like you're feeling now... I'll leave this scenario to you to tell us what might happen afterwards. Maturity comes with a lot of packages...and it includes information management. It's up to you to show how matured you are. |
excanny:I guess you think all a chicken 🐔 needs to grow from day old to between 8 to 12 weeks is just feed. How about other operation cost? Staff salaries, heating for brooding, medicine and so on....then the profit margin itself. The way to go is for people to start their own backyard farming. Raise your meat and egg chickens by yourselves. Plant Ugwu, pepper 🌶️ and tomatoes 🍅, and other needed veggies. If 30% of Nigerians practice farming at this scale, demand for those commodities will drop slightly and on the long run, it'll impact prices too. |
blingxx:With funds from which business venture? |
Earthstorms:Invariably, you're selling a cashew plantation. Such land won't meet my demand....thank you 🙏 |
Earthstorms:What title do you have? |
just2endowed:This is the real cause of Naira appreciating. CBN and Cadoso are wise enough to release their solution at a time when they'll get a noticeable change in the purchasing pattern of the dollar. By January when Nigerian students globally will be requesting for dollar to pay their tuition fee abroad, status quo will return. |
What a pity people still fall for this sort of bullsh!t promise of a better life in another African country. Unless you're going there to establish your own business, I'm sorry there's no such thing as pasture green on the continent. In the West, you need someone to give you a soft landing, else you'll suffer before gaining grounds. |
OkanlawonB:Even the western countries sef... |
INTEGRITYA1:Why not include the current prices of the ones that are still selling so that those that are interested can reach out to you..... No need replying me. Just modify your post and include the price. |
The choice is theirs (our leaders)....not ours. |
Okortor:Nope.... they're not. Their handlers had them sign an agreement to first increase fuel price to what we have now before the government-owned refineries would work. And they obliged by increasing fuel price in the name of subsidy removal as well as increasing other tariffs. Africa is still under colonialism.... it's called neocolonialism. |
Simple.... Nuclear and Atomic bombs. |
shilenji:Something is off somewhere.... You said your birds are broilers and they eat well, and are already 4 months old. Ideally, broilers are supposed to be market ready in 12 weeks....that's 3 months, but yours are at 16 weeks and they're just a little above 1kg in weight. Something is not right somewhere. |
theFarmsChief:For some of us that doubt the ROI of ₦110,000 monthly for 100 birds, do you mind sharing the feasibility or breakdowns with us. What do you feed the birds with and how do you cut down cost without negatively impacting productivity and still attain such high returns/profit on just one hundred birds? It'll be an interesting read. |
Those that have reached out to them and struck a deal should please come and give us review/account of their experience....🙏 Let's leverage on your experience biko. |
Interesting thread....but I guess the originator of the thread and its major contributors are no longer active on Nairaland. I'd have loved to hear from all the early contributors to know how far they've come and what learning points they would like to share. I'm keenly interested in hearing their stories. |
Good day dear Nairalanders, As the subject refers, we need advice on where to situate an Oil Palm plantation. Things to consider are as follows: 1. It must be in a region where the plant is known to thrive. 2. Security is paramount. The place in question should be kidnapping-free. 3. Land should be affordable. 4. Availability of arable land and labor. 5. Availability of other farm settlements or Oil Palm plantations within or around. Our preferred location is Southwest states. Your advice or input on this is highly welcome... 🙏 |
Originalsly:Obviously you read to reply and not to understand. I never said he cannot sue the EFCC because the last paragraph of my response has something like: I can't speak to the EFCC'S own, but what the National Assembly did is not out of place. He might be free to sue EFCC if the charter that was used to establish the anti graft agency requires it to have an arrest warrant before taking a suspect into custody.... I strongly believe you and I are not privy to that information, or are you? They're not police nor their extension. I know that the police are required to have an arrest warrant, but I'm not so sure same can be said about the EFCC, if not, every Yahoo boys, Tom, Dick and Harry would have sueing them. I welcome Bob to sue EFCC if it is in his right to do so, but what I was arguing against is that of the National Assembly. |
Frigga13:On what grounds would he have cashed out in any clime whether sane or not? National Assembly invited him, and how's that a wrongdoing? The whole reason for the invitation was to authenticate the audio by hearing from him directly without a mouthpiece, but he didn't honor their invitation. Even in the US, their National Assembly invites people for questioning. They've invited Mark of Facebook and the Tiktok guy. Do your findings. I can't speak to the EFCC's own, but what the National Assembly did is not out of place. |
ruggedtimi:Exactly the first question I asked myself.... When did we start issuing death penalty for a robbery case that didn't lead to any death in Nigeria? Perhaps, he left out that part of the story. |
OpmOfficer:Where in Warri, and what's your price? |
solablings:What's your connection to the land? Advertising on behalf of someone? |
stuffs2002:So because Nigeria is greater than Tinubu and all of us, including yourself, we should not criticise bad policies when we see and feel it effects? Also, do you think we're all partisans like you? Must you always look at everything from the lens of partisanship? Grow up sir! The world has moved on past that Peter Obi Vs Tinubu thing. It's stale already. The talk we're discussing at the moment is about the world bank and IMF induced reforms or policies that is socking lives out of Nigerians. You can't tell me you're not feeling it in any shape or form. If you're not, your extended family members are. And my point remains that Farooq Kperogi, like every other Nigerian, has every right to criticise the government and its policies irrespective of their political affiliations or bias. Let that sink! |
stuffs2002:Just read what you wrote up there again, but this time, do so gently and slowly. What does his personality, political affiliation or bias got to do with what he said? Must he be a pro-Tinubu or APC before he could have a say on what affects his country of birth and its people? Are you immune to the after-effects of all these world bank and IMF induced reforms or you're not just smart enough to comprehend stuffs? At this stage of your life and the current state of affairs in the country, should anyone still be seen thinking of reasoning like your thoughts suggests up there? Are you just saying this for clout chasing or this is your real self? |
Bobloco:Aside from the easy access to capital, the first 2 is not a problem in Lagos state. They've done more than enough, by Nigerian standard. |
omoredia:For the sake of responding.... Mortuary attendants and cleaners. |
freemi:That's called empowering, emboldening and encouraging criminal actors. The right thing is punish these ones, and encourage people with interest in local refineries to step forward, ease the licencing and regulations to absorb them into the fold, and support them with public-private-partnership or financing to help them get started. You don't stop a crime by rewarding its perpetrators. |
gabbyfarms:How long does the Wambugu apply plant takes to start fruiting? |
Botragelad:You need to tell us how to get to Gaza or the West Bank without coming in through the Ben Gurion Airport. This comment of yours just displayed your ignorance of the conflict at hand. Israel has been in control of all air and land borders into all that terroritory. You cannot get to Gaza or the West Bank without coming in through the Netzarim and Jenin checkpoint respectively. Leave what you don't know and focus on what you know man! You should be asking the Israeli government how she got there....And to my curiousity, how can an Iraqi-arabian girl be kidnapped by her fellow arab? E nor add up. |
ednut1:The age of those slain soldiers says it all. Meanwhile the children of the politicians are faraway in the Bahamas enjoying opulence. I just pray that people wise up. |
Ifybwoy:Brother Ifeanyi, I know how it feels being told that what you've known and believe to be true all your life is indeed false. It's difficult to soak in. I felt exactly this way at first, but I insist that you research some of these things yourself. Do not take my words for it. I'm after all a nobody and a bloody Yoruba Muslim, and I have nothing to gain or benefit from lying to you. Whether you change your mind or not doesn't change the reality on ground either, but all I want is for the truth to set us free. |
Elsueno:The ignorance of Africans, either Muslims Christians or other beliefs that are blindly supporting and cheering Israel on is sickening. To some Christian folks, their support revolves around "whoever blesses Israel is blessed and whoever curses Israel is cursed", but an overwhelming majority of them don't know that the current occupants of the land called Israel are Europeans. People with dual citizenship with proper European names that came for what is called settlers colonialism. France did it in Morocco, it happened in South Africa and now Palestine is the last stronghold they have remaining. Those who thought the ancestral land of the Jews is where we call Israel today don't know that the place you called Israel today could have been in Argentina or the boarder between Ethiopia and Kenya. They settled for Palestine for a reason and when they're done ethnically cleaning the land, their next sight is on South Africa....a place called Orania. |
