yrhuhfy113:God bless you sir. I believe you've said it all. |
RepoMan007:Look back in history and tell me that Adolf Hitler doesn't know a thing or two about the Jews that the rest of the world knows little to nothing about. He wanted to wipe them off for a reason and that reason is playing out in our very own before. For you to really understand the conflict between Palestine and Israel, you have to go check their history. The newfound love between Europeans and Americans for the Jewish state is not organic. The US is using Israel to checkmate the middle east, while the Europeans are using their support to payback for their wrongdoings to the Jews and also keep them far away from their own territory. While the Jews are being killed and abused in Europe, the Arab Palestinians received them with open hands and sold lands to them before they turned monsters. Today, the fate of Palestine is in Israel's hand...they can decide to wipe them off the surface of the earth and the best we can do is argue among ourselves. Hilter had their fate in his hands but God's plan prevailed, same way God's plan will prevail for the innocent people that are being killed daily. |
LadyG05:Haba... E never reach the level of that but in ur last sentence... In all of these, nobody has bothered to know how much he earns and what percentage of his earnings would go into footing all those bills and if there's anything left for himself to survive on. Men's world is nothing but a mirage. Everyone hull blame at him without knowing how he make ends meet. Crazy world we live in. Btw... What's the woman's contribution to their children's upkeep? Or isn't she supposed to contribute a fraction of the upkeep? He wants to take care of rent, house bills and school fees, and still manage to drop 15k. Yes, it's nowhere near average for a child's weekly upkeep but cut the guy some slags and let's know how much madam would contribute in all of this. Remember, house rent, bills, and school fees are off the plate. Wetin madam wan contribute ![]() |
Righteousness2:If only you know that the Jews don't believe this version of bible you're quoting. They're not Christians. They believe in Torah and their religion is Judaism. However when it comes to justifying their occupation of a land that isn't theirs, they fall back to using the bible. Remember, it was written by one of them to fool the rest of the world into believing they're superior. Same bible was used to keep slaves at bay so that they won't revolt against their masters. Same bible they don't believe in is what you're using to justify a wrongdoing that was perfectly orchestrated at the Balfour declaration. Mind you, where you know as Israel today might have been in Uganda or Argentina. Only God knows what lies would have been told to justify any of those 2 locations if they had picked there. |
matrixx:What makes you think an Igbo man will do better? Bring your best governor since 1999 and compare him to Kwankwaso, Ganduje (dollar man) and Zulum. Let's leave Lagos state out of it. Which of your governors ever outperformed any of those on that list? When you want to promise good governance, let's look back in history, and then show us a well-governed state from your region since democracy started. Let's leave out all these rubbish tribalism and victimization syndrome. It is a democratic process to become the president (at least, based on what's on paper), if your kinsmen continue with this mentality of everybody is against the Igbo tribe from being a president, I wonder how someone from your side will ever be because it's supposed to be a game of numbers and interest. Leave all the hype around PO and ask yourself real hash questions.... how many foreign investment did he brought to his state when he was governor? What legacy of his is still in place in the state today? |
No lies ... |
Zooposki:The real reason this country is where it is is because of this kind of idea. 1kobo kickback is a bribe and should be frown at the same way we frown at 1million dollar bribe. What's bad is bad and there's no name that befits it than corruption! |
thatigboman:I guess you know that while my ancestors were busy fighting to hold their own, yours were being enslaved by the present day South-south region. Go read your history books. Dahomey wars like every other inter-tribal wars were lost and won at different times but while my own forefathers were defending their lands, yours were being traded off like baboons among the Ogogoro drinking sapele warriors. Yoruba is one tribe you wish to be but nature already destined you for where you came from. I don't like doing this tribal thing but you deserve to be served your own coin. Grow up son! |
NSK4U:Just for laughs 😂😄😂.... but na you go still use your money buy Ifesinachi or GIG bus ticket to return to Lagos after you celebrate Christmas finish.... no be them beg you to return naw. |
thatigboman:Do you even know that "ijaw" as a word has a meaning in Yoruba language? |
Built2last:Lemme remind you that it is not a statutory requirements for banks, oil companies and other economy-driving businesses to base their HQ in Lagos. You're free to establish your own bank and situate it's head office in Awka or Minna. Nobody will hold you for it. Businesses make decisions based on economic index and statistics. Lagos is the trade center of Nigeria for so many reasons, and it has been so since precolonial era. Costal cities around the world enjoys this same advantage over other hinterland cities, so Lagos' case is no exception. With a ready market of over 20 million residents, Lagos remains the state to beat when it comes to making money in the fastes way possible. All you need to become a millionaire here is to think of a business that's marketable to at least a thousand people, add a margin of 1k profit on your overhead cost and viola, you're a million Naira richer. 1k people is just 0.00005% of the total population. If you're deliberate about making it big and quick, I don't think there's anywhere else you wanna be in Nigeria other than Lagos. It's the same reason every major businessman would want to establish their presence here. No be juju. Plus, there's stability and infrastructure here compared to other states. I rest my case! |
franchasofficia:Formal education and computing didn't start with the "whites" check your facts right. I'm not saying the dark skin invented it though... But it didn't start with the westerners. |
columbus007:Same way granmamas knows what hair dye is but chose not to use it. I repeat, she's a grandma |
Following but your pictures are not uploaded yet. It speaks more than words most times. Upload the pictures. E get why! |
Granny without grey hair is different from grandmama |
stunnert:That's why you're a mother-fucker. |
Henry22:Then I should sound like you who don't give a fvck about human life provided they're Muslims... I should sound like you and support Hamas just like you're supporting Israel, at least, according to your line of thought, I should side them because they're 'supposed' Muslims like me. Like I told you earlier on, I know how you see it now and I'm not surprised one bit. I already know what you're about. In my own lens, and by the way and manner I practice my own religion, every human life is sacred and should not be taken in the way and manner Hamas and Israel are going about it. I condemn both of them because they're both commiting war crimes and crime against humanity. One is a terrorist organization and the other a terrorist nation. Peace 🕊️ |
Henry22:Did you just say Israel has come out to tell the world that it's Hamas that is responsible for the bombing? And you believe that? Just yesterday, you guys were hailing Israel for the job well-done but 24 hours afterwards, you're coming to tell the world that it's not them. Oh... I can see your thoughts clearer now. My guess is that when Hamas entered into Israel and started killing, they asked their victims if they're Muslims, Christians or Jews before bombing or killing them. And Israel too made sure their missiles and bombs get to ask for the faith of their victims before striking them to death. Continue with your line of thought. I pray that God will open your eyes and mind to think about humanity first before anything else. |
Henry22:See how I smile to your ignorance. Present day Israel has over 18% Muslim population and lesser percentage of christian. Fact check it. The internet is your friend. Meanwhile, Palestine has a blend of Muslims and Christians alike. Before the name of the bombed hospital was revealed, I saw how uninformed Nairalanders were hailing Israel for bombing Hamas in Palestine and wonder if most of you guys understand what humanity means. The said hospital is a Catholic hospital with majority of its patients being Christians but it's the Muslim world that is crying out for the victims the most... funny world indeed. But at the end, it is still Hamas' fault. At least that's what you're meant to believe. You're born into a Christian family and that's how most of you get to choose your faith. If you were born into a Muslim family, you probably would be rooting for Islam today. And the funny thing is that you never know what tomorrow holds. Those people that were killed might be planning on converting to Christianity or vice versa. It's not a religious war. This is pure ethnic cleansing for the sole purpose of grabbing land. |
Minajesty18:I can get you Lithium.... but what's your rate and how many tones are we looking at? |
Zonefree:Which Muslim don ask you to support Hamas? Support anything you like, my own be say, make Nigeria better for we all. May peace reign in the land and beyond.... Amen |
Taylor92:I pray you guys succeed... at least, let sanity return to Lagos. |
BloomingDale:What do you know about Hausa/Fulani names? You think bandits too don't have sense. They've learnt to use people from other tribe to transport their armor bcuz they know all eyes are on them. |
Julius1995:I've so much resisted commenting on this thread but the bolded above needs to be corrected for the sake of those that believes anything they read here on Nairaland and the internet. Lemme begin by clarifying the misconception around Saudi Arabia and "their new law on alcohol, women's right to do certain things they weren't allowed to do before and so on..." Firstly, Saudi Arabia is a country just like anywhere else in the world that chooses to govern their land with Sharia laws, and as times changes, they have the exclusive right to do as they deem fit to their laws, not the Sunnah nor the Quran or islam. Secondly, just as you amend constitution, they choose to amend some parts of the sharia they practice to accommodate the influx of expatriates that's coming to live and work in their land. They're doing this to change the negative perceptions of the world about Islam.... the whole islamaphobia thing. Same thing happened at the last world cup in Qatar. Lastly, relaxing some Sharia laws in their land does not change Sharia as defined in the hadiths and the Quran, neither does it change Islam. Islam and the Quran remains the same yesterday, today and will remain the same forever. In conclusion, pls take out Islam from what Reno has said. Nowhere did he referenced the quran neither is he a Muslim. The words he asked his audience to source for are not related in anyway or form to islam. So I see no reason to bring islam into this conversation at all. If you're not able to trace those words to any pages of your scripture, you shouldn't be using islam nor the quran to validate or buttress your point. To you is your religion, and to me is mine. I worship not that which you worship neither will you worship that which I worship. |
MS247:If only you know how fast that table/role can turn, you won't be saying this. He's the younger one and yeah, the elder brother doesn't owe him anything for him to feel indebted, but there's a catch in all of this, God made them siblings for a reason and the question is: is he fulfilling that purpose? It is one thing if the elder brother too isn't capable to feed them both, and the whole story didn't capture that part. He might be younger, squatting and starving today, but might end up the bedrock of their whole lineage tomorrow and by that time, it'll be the elder brother who would be opening Nairaland thread to tell us how he brought his younger brother to Lagos and helped him become a billionaire only for the brother not to help him. Time will tell sha.... and by that time, you and your kind will still tell the elder brother not to feel entitled. |
Poverty induces crime... with the continuous rising cost and dwindling income sources, people will natural tend towards illegal means to meet ends and that's going to be wahala promax for the society. Be safe out there guys! |
7arrows:Some not too far years ago, it happened in those areas you mentioned too, and it'll repeat itself again. It's just a matter of time. Tracing back its route doesn't mean it won't flow away.... it only means, the channel will be filled with water again and then, get dry up again but it'd have caused some damages. |
They built their shops in canal and they all knew it that it's just a matter of time, water will trace back it's root. |
The most important thing is that you've learnt a thing or two and one thing I observed is that you used full yam (sliced into two) as your seed yam. I've never planted before but just as someone pointed out here, and based on what I've seen on other threads, they have yam seedlings that are cheaper and easier to source than buying full yam. I believe the purpose of farming will be defeated if we buy 10 tuber of yam to plant only to harvest same 10 tuber. Fact is that you've learnt and it can only get better from this point onward. Well-done Sir. |
Toluabigr8:The exact reason why the lady was shouting and crying with their child in her arms is to draw as much sympathy as possible. I'm not saying she and her son is not deserving of it ooo but I'm only pointing you to the power of female manipulation working on you already. How about Mohbad's parents, don't they also deserve to eat the fruit of their labour in their son whose life was cut short? But because neither his Mom nor dad did a crying video of themselves telling the world how they wouldn't have had anything to eat unless their son brings them food and money, nobody gives a fxck about them. That's life my brother. Essence of my story: Just like his baby mama and son, every other person that depends on him should be pitied and considered when proceeds from his work comes out for sharing. They also deserve a share of it. |
I've met and interacted with all 37 states indigenes. Visited all the states too except for 2 state capitals, but I've touched some their remote villages of those 2. |
Pwettylinda:Unfortunately you can't see beyond your nose on this one. This same comnent might pass for other things but not this one. |
because the COUNTRY IS HARD.... and Ladies think of the FUTURE ALOT.
