DaTruths:😂... There's no subsidy money anywhere. You people need to understand this. Yes, the country stopped paying subsidy. That's a fact, but what you need to know is that the money used in paying for subsidy was never on ground. They've been borrowing to sustain subsidy since. So when they stopped paying and said they saved, it only means that they saved the country from being indebted further. Lemme bring it home a little bit more. Let's say you live in a luxury apartment in Ikoyi that cost a whopping 50million Naira annually. But you don't have the money to pay the rent, so you've been borrowing to sustain it over the years. Then all of a sudden, you decide against borrowing and moved out of the apartment and went for something cheaper that you can afford without borrowing. Then when people ask you, you'd say you saved yourself some extra money/burden but in reality there's never any money anywhere bcuz you've been borrowing to pay the rent. You only saved yourself from further loan burden. That, my friend is exactly what happened in the case of Nigeria. |
DaTruths:There's no money saved from subsidy.... the subsidy money was to be borrowed and now, they didn't borrow it. |
AchrafHakimi:Your stupidity knows no bounds... Imagine it is people from the Islamic faith that always come online to insult your religion or its founder, you'll be all over the place shouting religion of hate. What do you tend to gain when you provoke others? |
Cutehector:😁😄😄😃 |
taylor89:Arrested where? Lekki, here in Lagos. Or is there another Lekki in Rivers? |
Cutehector:Until he shows up in court, No case. I can bet my balls that he'll lose the case. He won't even go to court bcuz they'll school him wella on things he doesn't know. First question is that was said name patented? Second question is, the bank can show you at least 100 customers with matching names, some even have matching DOB and the only distinctive factor is their BVN and valid ID number. Should those people too sue the bank for having other customers that bear their exact names? I know he'll be schooled and he's got no case sha. Let's wait and see. The best he can do is report the account as an account opened with fraudulent intent and the bank will look into the activities of the account holder. |
DenreleDave:He will lose the lawsuit. The customer must have provided all those documents he mentioned. You wouldn't have succeeded and scale through compliance in all 3 banks if you don't provide means of ID to prove you're who you say you are. Mind you, did he patent the name? If no, then it's no case. I can wake up tomorrow and do change of name and start bearing his exact name. All I need are legal documents to show for it. |
Prigozhin:There's no source anywhere. It's a propaganda. The same way the US claimed that Iran was building weapon of masses destruction that never was/is just to justify their plans to invade the country, same thing is what is happening in Niger. This kind of story is cooked up to pull or divide the Niger republic people from the juntas. ECOWAS cannot invade the country when almost everyone supports the military government, so they needed to cause division among their supporters. A divided house they say cannot stand! |
Just a question pls... How come the price of white cockerel is always cheaper than the price of egg. White cockerel cost 60 Naira while egg cost 100 Naira.... No be juju be that? The hen that lay the egg fed on something, then add that to the cost of incubation... I'm puzzled! |
One of the highest paying jobs out there but the riskiest too. RIP to the dead. |
Lukepeter:How if I may ask? Let's say I started snake rearing in my small backyard somewhere in the slums of Lagos or faraway northern state (bcuz obviously you don't need all the acres of land for it), how will venom buyers know about my business venture? Snake is not chicken or rabbit. When people get to know that you rear snakes, they'll stop visiting you altogether. It's a risky venture. The guys I follow on YouTube that are into this business have all been bitten at one time or the other. And in Nigeria, snake bite is as good as death sentence bcuz most of the local hospitals don't have the antidote. But in all sense of it, I know it's a highly profitable business, and it cost little to nothing to feed the snakes. One medium size rat is enough for a snake per day. The rest is water and a cool silent place. |
Samakus:Mbappe is not an out-and-out No. 9. We'll see. I just pray he's able to achieve that same feat as last season. |
Samakus:If he repeats the heroic performance of last season or even improves on it, Madrid will come in for him. |
I pray for peace and tranquility in the whole of Africa and the world. Enough of the blood letting. |
Not surprised one bit... Recruitment flaws cannot be ruled out in the force, particularly in country that uses quota system allot job opportunities. |
I'm particularly interested in the buyers. Who are the buyers and at what rate do they buy the venoms? I've been researching this for some time now. I know former army Chief of staff, Tukur Buratai has a snake farm. I also know that snakes are less expensive to feed or maintain. All you need is a rat farm by the side, and all you need to feed the rats are leftovers. |
Allisgud:I have argued this with several people.... In Africa, military rule is the best and records are there to prove this. Africa is poor and democracy is expensive to run. I can even argue that democracy is a tool by the west to keep Africa in perpetual poverty. It creates room for mass looting of resources. From the central government to local ... There's just too many hands inside the pot of soup. Then you have to pay the military too. That's double cost when the military could just rule and collect the same salary they collect under democratic government. |
DenreleDave:You're right... There's no proof for that but how about Mali that offers to present facts and proofs at the UN summit that the French government is the sponsor of terrorism in their country but the UN did not allow them to present their proof. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/10/8/mali-accuses-france-of-training-terrorists-in-country&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjhxYa2nMWAAxUtXEEAHZsOA54QFnoECAgQAg&usg=AOvVaw3x5vo3nnJQeNrVUO062wPs https://www.dw.com/en/mali-tells-un-that-france-armed-islamist-militants/a-62853737&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjhxYa2nMWAAxUtXEEAHZsOA54QFnoECAMQAg&usg=AOvVaw1r5B66Z99qlzz-xm2FyeeZ |
The problem is getting the banks to comply with you. Their officials will be the one faulting you. Fraudulent activities were made to look easy and possible by the banks and their staffs nonchalant attitude towards the plight of the general public. No sense of urgency one bit.... |
tunddy:See me smiling at your post. I doubt the viability of this business sha... Any business-minded person should and must first consider the consumers before venturing into any business. With the purchasing power of Nigerians dropping at astronomical rate, what are the odds that people will be able to afford your product/produce if it is perceived as 'rich man' food? Think am twice ooo.... Let the market guide your entrepreneural compass. It's easier that way than having to create the product and also create the demand. |
Jasonjay101:It wasn't a false accusation... She dropped the charge bcuz they settled their dispute in the other room and 9 months down the line, there's a baby boy in between them. If she press further with the charge, she's just destroying the life and career of her son's dad, the hen that lay their golden eggs. It's that simple! |
Since 2018!!! It's 20 fucking 23 already.... 5 years past! Why is this just showing up here ![]() 😭 |
STRI1:And you think the CIA and their sister agents don't know or have a hand in it? They're notorious for overthrowing governments and installing a stooge that's loyal to the powers that be in the Whitehouse. |
Intergrated:🤣😂😅😆😁😄 More like a different specie of human... And we must marry them o |
Have you seen ladies complaining about the price of fuel or the impact of subsidy removal? Check people's status on your WhatsApp and Facebook, you'll notice the people complaining are men. If that doesn't tell you why men aren't going into relationship, sorry I might not be able to tell you how to use your tongue to count your teeth. |
Employers will still pick the age bracket they feel comfortable with... 😊 |
Lifestone:Having read your previous responses, I think I understand your point clearer but the part I think you missed out was balancing your argument. Of course, every parent would wish the best for their sons and daughters but how about morals and values? Would you wish to be a father of a son or daughter who gets his breakthrough by all and any means possible? Let's flip the coin and look at it from the angle of being a father of a son who has invested his time and resources in upskilling his would-be wife, and just immediately after the girl succeded in landing her first well paying job, she ditched your son for someone with better financial standing and her reason for such action is that your son is not on the same level as her. I believe if that was your son, your reaction and perception of the matter will be different (speaking from the angle of every parent wants the best for their children). On the other hand however, the father of the girl would feel it's an answered prayer if we go by the same line of thought as you saw it. I just feel you didn't balance the argument but your points are valid. Peace 🕊️ |
optionalY09:If you fall for the blackmail of a crying child and accede to all his demands, such child will believe he has dominion over you because he'd think his cries were effective in getting away with whatever he wishes to get away with. That's the case of releasing Nnamdi Kalu on the backdrop of all the sit at homes and destruction in the East. You want him released; drop all the weapons and stop the sit at homes, then come clean to the negotiation table, only then will the government listen. |
zeeprince:I think most of us that schooled in the southwest got a copy of the free new testament bible. Thank God for our parents and how we were brought up in this part of the world. We were raised to tolerate others and not just religious tolerance alone. I know at this point some folks will be saying that can't happen in the north. That it'd have resulted into bloodshed and violence, but pause for a moment and reflect. Why not respect them and accept their way of life by letting them be and leaving them to their own way of life (which includes their religion). Why try to get them to practice or embrace your religion while they ditching theirs? Imagine going to the eastern part of the country and sharing a copy of the Quran to their kids in school. Just imagine that for a second! The noise of wanting to islamize Nigeria would have transcends beyond this planet. But down here in southwest, churches freely shared bible to pupils in schools and nobody complained about a plot to chritianize us. In Tinubu's voice: Let the world breef with all this noise of religion I beg! Live and let's live should not be a problem. |
SKIBiNSKI:How come the dumb and backward muzlems don't degrade themselves so low to the extent of burning the Bible? Why is it always that it's the fall-guy that get to be the bad guy whereas the person orchestrating his fall is seen as the good guy. My guess: those who set the criteria controls the standard. |
Dshocker:There's no peace loving human being that likes it. You don't have to be a Muslim to dislike it, how much more an adherent one. If you know your action or inaction is provocative to another person and you gain delight in carrying out such action, then I don't know what you expect from a sane minded person order than dislike for (you and) your action. |
lhurd:That was the perception until wambugu apple came into the picture. Research about wambugu apples. That variety grows anywhere in Nigeria. I know of someone that's currently growing it in Zaria, and am sure you know Zaria is far from Jos. Africans are advancing with research on certain plants that ordinarily don't do well in our clim before. |
