iykbethany: That's Exactly why I didn't buy years ago. I saw someone on twitter, their family owns the biggest nursery in Enugu. I followed them for months, saw lots of testimonies and works done. Then I gave it a try.
However, I do not link people to people so tomorrow if someone goes wrong I will be blamed. I do not sale palm seedlings, you can do your own independent research and buy from whoever you like. There's nothing that guarantees rest of mind like buying directly from NIFOR. Google is your friend anyday on that. Buying from independent or private individuals comes with loads of risk due to the "Nigerian factor" we all know about. I'm currently searching for a very good large land that can be used for the project within and around Ogun and Oyo state. Nasarawa would have been a good idea too but security challenge is my greatest setback on any northern state. NIFOR : https://nifor.orgWalk into any of their office and make enquiries. You'd be surprised at the wealth of knowledge these guys have. |

Henry2405: In my opinion, the house belongs to the land owner unless the guy can uproot his house from the land. Alternatively, they can break it down, or she can pay off the house cost. Your opinion There's a maxim in law that defines this with ease. You don't need to be a lawyer to understand it. It's a Latin principle that goes: "Quicquid plantatur solo, solo cedit" Whatever that's affixed to the soil belongs to the owner of that soil. |

In fact, since it'll be hypocritical to criticise or call for her prosecution because a Yoruba man has said similar things in the past. An eye for an eye will leave the world with blind people, and that's the genuine reason why she and anyone like her, including the man that posted the screenshot you shared, should be put behind bars. |

The last one that refused to shutdown and kept operating even when it was evident he was running at a loss, finally succumbed to robber. They came stole all the equipments, especially the pump. He was just weeping like a baby.
Nevertheless, I am yet to see someone convince me greenhouse would put more money in my pocket. I quench the idea straight up. Thanks. |

Edmanpumpin: The lifespan of a cashew tree can vary, but typically it ranges from 30 to 40 years. However, under optimal conditions and with proper care, some cashew trees can live up to 50 years or more. Like many trees, factors such as climate, soil conditions, and the level of care provided can all influence the longevity of a cashew tree. I didn't know cashew trees have lifespan. The ones at the back of my family house in the village has been there before my mom was born and she's in her early 70s now. Those trees are still fruiting. |

Aykush: No one is placing any religion above each other and no one is saying other religions are saint but why always Islam? Why is all terrorism bombings beheadings related to Islam? And you justifying extremism because someone talked down on your religion shows the kind of mentality you have, you are all terrorists and God will wipe y’all away from the surface of the earth one by one! How many islamic countries have invaded other countries of the Christian faith in the last 50 years? Be very honest about it. But it's Islam that's the terrorist! At least, so we're told and meant to believe. Go and check how many countries the US and NATO have invaded within the same period. Check how many innocent souls have been taken just because of lies from their media houses. Please if you don't have knowledge of some of these things, you really don't have to reply me just for its sake. Take some time and do your research. The US and their NATO allies killed over a million people in Iraq and hundreds of thousands in Afghanistan. Yet, it's Islam that's the terrorist. Mentioned an islamic country that produces weapons aside Iran that was forced into defending themselves due to the examples that have been made from the two aforementioned countries. Israel is a saint that has killed and continue to kill... again, Islam is the terrorist....oh I forgot they're the lord's own chosen people. Imagine Saudi Arabia is the one killing Jews in their numbers like Israel is doing to the Palestinians, God knows what the headlines will be saying today...yet, the question everyone is asking is " why is islam always associated with terrorism." |

Floky215: Nobody hates Islam...only Islam hates everybody, everyone and even themselves...!!
Now again imagine a world without Islam...!!! Exactly what you accuse islam about is what you and many other religious "holier than thou" people are doing all over the world. Non-religious people are the most loving and compassionate person you'd ever meet bcuz they lack prejudice for people of faith, but those of you that claim to be PA of God, thinks you're right to chastise people that don't practice your faith or religion. Imagine if it were to be a Muslim that say what you just said.... just think for a moment.... it'd have been a justifiable reason to call them extremists. Shame on y'all! |

Politics › Re: Lawmakers Move To Restrict Cattle Herders, Northern Senators Fume by Ade3131: 3:39pm On Jun 06, 2024 |
malali: Potential Impact on Beef Prices Implementing large-scale ranching could significantly increase the cost of beef due to the high expenses associated with establishing and maintaining ranches. These would make Nigerian cows too expensive for purchase as cows from Niger and other neighboring countries practicing open grazing will be cheaper in the open market.
Suggested Practical Solutions Designated Grazing Areas: Allocate specific areas for grazing to prevent clashes while allowing pastoralists to continue traditional herding methods. Conflict Resolution Mechanisms: Establish local committees to mediate disputes between farmers and herders, promoting peaceful coexistence. Cooperative Farming: Encourage farmers and herders to form cooperatives, sharing resources and knowledge to improve productivity and harmony. Community-Based Animal Health Services: Provide mobile veterinary services to support herders, reducing the need for long migrations and potential conflicts. These solutions aim to be cost-effective and fair to both cattle herders and farmers, ensuring sustainable practices and reducing conflicts.
The Southeast is allowed to ply their trade and open spare parts shop in katsina The Southwest is holding Aso-rock Office in Abuja The South-south is FCT Minister in Abuja Why cant the northern Fulani man feed his cow in the south ? Lets be tolerant and restructure cattle grazing to accommodate everybody. Ordinarily, there's nothing bad in allowing open grazing in any part of Nigeria but the problem you seem to fail to acknowledge is the bloodshed and conflict it has caused over the years. Failing to acknowledge these downsides implies that you place premium on the life of a cow over those who are being killed daily by the herders. There have to be a way forward. With our current practice of free-ranging of cattles, can you say Nigeria produce more beef and milk than Kenya that practice ranching? Yes, it's going to be expensive and might seem difficult at the beginning but trust me, it's just the ideal thing to do. My only reservation with the bill is the clause that specified that ranches be established in the "pastoralists state of origin." I don't think that is 100% appropriate but there's always room for ammendment because what that means is that a Fulani man will need to go back to his state of origin to do his business of cattle raring, and this is not logically correct because people from other trade are allowed to live and do their business in any state of the federation sofar they're Nigerian. |
