ComputersRe: Windows 9 Is Coming. This Is What It Looks Like by adeabi: 5:11pm On Sep 12, 2014
i love window 8 because of these;

it has high resistance to software virus because of its built-in anti-virus.

Wi-fi(Wireless) connection is very powerful compared to window 7.

Searching items on entire computer on the start.

it's very fast in processing

To me, it's very simple to operate.

world security will be stagnant because some securities advice on internet especially, tracker device for vehicle, human being and aircraft.

Median addicted people will suffer because all digital Tv has their root in internet.such as sport fans.

Educational sector will be at stake.there will be no Cbt and records of student in university, polytech. and college may get volatile.

I must confess that world without internet will bring us back to era of our forefather.

RomancePlease, Judge And Help Me by adeabi(op):
Hmmmn. This scenario took place on campus last semester. As i was coming from bank i saw a lady(in a well ironed top shirt and legging jean) coming toward my direction.i eventually met her and saw her womanliness covered with scanty hair.because her zip was not tightened,i mean that her front zip was loosed.i walked passed her but before i gone far,i ran after her and told her to let her know of her exposure.she thanked me and we departed.since that day she has been looking at me in romantic ways anytime i met her(guy you know now).Even she has collected my number.
These are my questions
(1) was it polite as i told her of her exposure?
(2) as a religious person, what do i suppose to do in case i see such thing again?
(3) i wish to know how she felt after i told her of her free show?
(4) i don't know why she has been calling me(She collected my number from my friend) for past four weeks now despite we used to see each other on campus?

EducationFresh Students To Get PC Tablets-vice Chancellor Of Unilorin by adeabi(op): 10:33am On Oct 09, 2013
All newly admitted students
of the University of Ilorin will
have a PC tablet each to boost
the institution’s ICT drive and
enhance e-communication
between the students and their lecturers.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof.
AbdulGaniyu Ambali,
disclosed this last Wednesday
(October 2, 2013) while
answering questions on a
special Unilorin 89.3 FM live interview programme, ‘Talk
to the VC’, to mark his one
year in office.
The media chat, moderated by
Segun Alabi of Unilorin 89.3
FM, has Abiodun Fagbemi of
The Guardian, Layiwola
Olarenwaju, Daily Sun;
Arowona Abdulazeez, Nigerian Pilot; Hammed Shittu,
This Day, and Olusegun
Adebayo of Youth Spring
news magazine, as members
of the interview panel.
Prof. Ambali said, “We hope
to start a new era with those
coming in because we have to
empower them to face the
challenges of the ICT world,”
adding that “all the curriculum and courseware will be on the
tablet so that you have the
whole classroom on your
hand.”
The Vice-Chancellor charged
the students to concentrate on
their primary reason for
coming to the University,
which is learning, noting that
his administration is committed to providing a
comfortable environment for
the students with adequate
accommodation facilities on
campus.
Prof. Ambali also noted that
the University was committed
to producing graduates
endowed with requisite
entrepreneurship skills in
order to prepare them for the larger society.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that
the University, in addition to
reviewing its academic
curriculum every five years to
reflect current trends, is
partnering professional bodies and industries to ensure that
graduates are exposed to
skills that will be of value to
them and to the development
of the society at large. He
disclosed that the Federal Government, through the
Tertiary Education Fund
(TETFund), has approved
funds for the establishment of
a permanent Entrepreneurship
Centre in the University.
The Professor of Veterinary
Medicine identified improved
security on campus, staff
development, infrastructural
developments, and improved
internet connectivity as some of the achievements recorded
in the last one year under his
leadership.
Prof. Ambali also noted that
significant steps are being
taken to boost the Internally
Generated Revenue (IGR) of
the University through such
ventures as the University Plantation and the Zoo as well
as through alumni
contributions. The Vice-Chancellor then
expressed appreciation to
staff members of the
University for their
commitment and dedication
towards the development of the institution. Describing the journey so far
as “a good experience”,
Professor Ambali appreciated
God for making it possible for
him to have been able to
make a difference in the lives of staff and students of the
University.
The Vice-Chancellor, who
described leadership as living
by example, attributed the
peaceful atmosphere that
pervades the University
campus to the transparency in the management of the
University affairs and the fact
that the authority always
carries all stakeholders along
in all its dealings. Prof. Ambali pointed out that
the contributions of the
University of Ilorin has been
widely acknowledged in
terms of research output,
stable academic calendar, and the production of highly
skilled and disciplined
graduates. He noted that in the last 12
months, security of lives and
property has been improved
upon, and, as such, people can
move around freely while
members of staff can comfortably stay in their
various offices and
laboratories without fear of
any security threat.
The Vice Chancellor submitted
that the University has been
able to sponsor staff to
conferences, improve on the
access to internet connectivity
as well as support the students in carrying out their
educational and social
activities, adding that the
University is working to be
one of the topmost
Universities in the world. Projecting into the future,
Prof. Ambali pledged to
continue to support staff
welfare, security of lives and
property on campus, and
provision of a favourable environment for learning and
research, and improvement on
lecture delivery by providing
better lecture rooms.

Science/TechnologyRe: Satellites Glimpse Ultra-powerful “black Hole” Whirlpools In Atlantic by adeabi: 11:03am On Aug 26, 2013
metti: I love your explanation. But after the water is drained from earth where does it go another planet? Let's think.
according to
scientists,They told us that
there is something hydrologic
cycle.1
Evaporation>Condensation>Precipitation>Infiltration.S
since earth is spherical in shape.that hole will lead to
another space on earth.for
instance,take a round object
and punch a hole through
it ,you will see that you can
see through it.back to matter,so the swallowed
water will come out on other
surface of the earth as
precipitation or rain.

FamilyRe: Post Marital Weight Gain & Effects. by adeabi: 6:09pm On Mar 22, 2013
hmmm.weight gain after marriage is a function of peace of mind in the family.before marriage, bachelor will always think of the following.1 will this lady marry me.2 will her parent accredit our relationship. And many ladies will be collecting money from him.Spinster will also be thinking of 1. Will this guy truely marry me. 2.she will alway pray for him, even some ladies fasting.BUT once one get married everything is solved hence gaining of weight by both sides emerge since peace of mind is directly proportional to 'fat'

RomanceRe: Why Most Relationship Fail Woefully by adeabi: 1:49pm On Jan 31, 2013
The reason for relationship is to know each other better. And according to definition,it could be defined as 1. The way in which two or
more concepts, objects, or
people are connected, or the
state of being connected
2. The state of being
connected by blood or marriage. So if some expected features is absent at one side then relationship is advised to dissolved.but if possible that all those expected character can be invented then relationship will be flourished.
LiteratureThe Benefits Of Being A Virgin by adeabi(op): 7:27am On Jan 30, 2013
A thought crossed my mind
recently while I was chilling
out and listening to music. I
was wondering what the
world would be like if all
people were virgins and were programmed to have sex once
they found their ‘perfect’
partner and married them.
Imagine that: a world were
people weren’t so controlled
by their hormones, where their manhood or
womanhood wasn’t defined
at all by the amount of sex
they have and a world where
countless hearts would be
spared from breakage because people would not be cheating
so hectically on each other. I think that sex doesn’t have
to be the be-all and the end-all
of relationships, but because
people have become so
accustomed to sex defining
how good or bad a relationship is, it has become a
norm in any relationship, and
if you do decide to keep your
legs closed and not engage in
sex, first of all, people think
you’re lying about your virginity then they look at you as if you’re crazy for not
having sex. But the worse is
when you can’t get into a
relationship because you
know that sex will always be
a pressure, and if its not you giving it to your partner,
some one else will. But do not despair, because I
think there are some very
good benefits of being a virgin, and because of these benefits, I think virgins are the sanest people on earth.
I’ve had a few incidences
where my friends would give
it up to their boyfriends, only
to have their lovers dump
them after a couple of weeks, and if they’re lucky, after a
couple of months. My
'girlfriends' felt so used after
such break-ups because they
felt like they gave their all,
only to have it trampled and thrown back at their faces. So
being a virgin, you don’t
really feel like absolute crap
when Mr Lover leaves you
because you know that you
did not give away a very deep part of yourself.
Although you do feel sad at
the break- up, it’s generally
easier to get over because you
never connected with the guy
sexually. As a virgin, your ability to
rock someone’s world doesn’t
come from how you perform
in bed, so you don’t go
through the stress of being
compared to other people, and you don’t compare different
lovers as well. As a girl, you
don’t feel like death because
your man slept with another
girl, and in your head you’re
thinking that you were never women enough or interesting
enough to keep your man,
and as a guy, you don’t have
nightmares of you being a
weak man who can’t satisfy
his woman. No one needs that kind of stress that just eats at
your self-esteem. Most relationships have the
tendency of falling apart after
people engage in sex. I guess
the main reason would be
that there’s nothing left of the
relationship after a sexual encounter; all that could be
done has been done, so now
all you hear are crickets
making noise in the
background of your
relationship. Not including sex in a relationship gives you the
opportunity to build
something sustainable that’s
not tainted with the ‘before-
and-after’ admin of having
sex. And there are the obvious
benefits, such as no STD’s and pregnancy scares, but more especially for girls because They
are emotional, I think the
emotional benefits of not
giving it up are the most
significant. Being a virgin in this day and
age is quite difficult because
you are literally swimming
against the current of the
modern times, but it’s a choice
at the end of the day. Virginity also tends to scare
off a lot of people that would
want to be in a relationship
with you, but also in the end,
it usually turns out to be a
blessing because it eliminates crappy people out of your life.
