Arguably the strangest thing one can come across in a Nigerian political sphere, the All Progressives Congress(APC) via its official Twitter handle wittingly or unwittingly liked a post [a Press statement] that demanded Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi's immediate resignation, following his appointment as the Director-General of President Buhari's 2019 re-election bid. While some are making light of the whole fuss, this is perhaps the first time such a thing is happening especially giving the no love lost situation between the two heavyweight parties. Whatever prompted the action, the coming days certainly is pregnant with drama.

I don't know what inspired this piece, but whatever it is is certainly as bad as kwale weed. You mean Victor Agali is bankrupt? Nonsense. I don't even know why I'm surprised. How on earth can we take someone who cannot string simple tenses together serious with facts and figures? Gerarahia |
For folks travelling from this part of the world, the only worry would be air tickets and accommodation. We shall discuss all that too and more tips, and of course, with the help of other digital nomad friends from around the world. |
Perhaps the most important information about the entire thread is the entry visa and all the information surrounding it. Please note that VISA REGULATION INTO RUSSIA FOR THE PERIOD LEADING TO AND THROUGHOUT THE 2018 WC HAS BEEN RELAXED. Anyone travelling to Russia before and during the World Cup, until otherwise stated, can do so "WITHOUT A VISA". That's in quote because there's what has to be done to be eligible for entry. We shall discuss all these and more. Let's keep the questions coming. |
Good day folks. Here's an amazing opportunity for sport lovers, especially football fans and enthusiasts alike, to have a first-hand feel of how seeing a live football game is in a scenic and amazing atmosphere. The 2018 World Cup presents such opportunity. This thread is for those who, like me, want to travel to Russia for the football showpiece, at a minimal budget. Please understand that we'll only be sharing tips and information as the weeks go by. I am NOT a travelling agent. All the best! CC: honeric01, semid4lyfe |

Against the widely circulating news that former footballer, Liberia's George Weah has been elected the country's president, the BBC is reporting that voting just got underway. Vote counting is under way in Liberia in a run-off presidential election between Vice-President Joseph Boakai and ex-football star George Weah. Mr Weah, 51, won the first round, but did not secure the required 50% of the vote for an outright victory. The final result is expected later in the week. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-42481278 CC: Lalasticlala, MYND44

Top 10 indeed. Nonsense. A list that excludes Nigeria's Senate President (whom you erroneously referred to as "Senate leader" and the Information Minister, what's pominent about that?Abeg face your NYSC. |
izzou:My grouse with folks like you is you talk first before thinking. Listen to her testimony first before talking. The lady said they were friends. Hian! |
ibkkk:You obviously didn't see the video before commenting. She said they've been friends. |
Saintsbrown:It's unfortunate that you can't capture your thoughts in a well scripted and articulated piece of your own to drive home your message. That's because you're a moronic zombie following every gibberish because of some free data you got. Oyedepo 's Winner Chapel, on it's payroll, has well over 20,000 employees. Over 40% of Landmark University students are on scholarship. David Oyedepo Foundation continues to sponsor the less privileged especially to Covenant and Landmark Universities. You could say it's because he owns the institutions. He pays for everything just like an outsider [the facts are readily available for minds like yours]. Starve your ignorance and feed your intellect by asking pertinent questions and seeking relevant answers, rather than come up to social media and display tomfoolery and brazen idiocy. |
There was a pronounced judgement (evidentially based), you were found guilty and you've served your term. In the eyes of the law, the matter is settled and out of record. The sad part for the prosecutor is the forfeiture of the claim(plus, it wasn't mentioned in the ruling that you should pay the money back). The sad part for you is that you're an ex-convict. |

We're in the final. |
The WESPA (World English-Language Scrabble Players Association) Championship enters its final stage with the top two players determined, after an exciting 32 game qualifying tournament just completed in Nairobi, Kenya. Akshay Bhandarkar of Bahrain will play Peter Moses of Nigeria in a best of seven game final, after proving themselves the two best players in a tournament of over 100 players from over 30 countries. Defending Champion, Nigeria's Wellington Jighere narrowly lost out of a place in Sunday's final after suffering setbacks in penultimate rounds leading to the deciding finale. However, Moses Peter has proven to be the tournament's dark horse after putting up superlative showings against almost everyone on his way to the final. Moses, like the biblical prophet, defied odds to upstage the greatest Scrabble player of all time, Nigel Richard, for a place in the final, in a game that remains one of the most pulsationally followed by the Nigerian Scrabble fraternity back home. From the closed WhatsApp platform "Nigeria Scrabble Friends" where live feeds from the game between Moses and Richard was being relayed, move by move details was not available because the annotation of the game was unavailable. With Moses condemned to win to be assured a place in the finals, his compatriots deployed the Nigerian-ness in them and began to pray. Such was the display of oneness and unity during his final game. Long story short, another Nigerian is on the threshold of history in the intellectual sport we so love. God bless Nigeria.

ZACHIE:Impossible is nothing. If Welly and Moses avoid themselves and win well and the bearded one drops, it's done niyen. |
Gerrard59:Depending on where you're asking from. It's everywhere. In Lagos, inbox for the details of those you can talk to. Abuja? Inbox still, we'll talk. |
ZACHIE:Bros, you say? |
ZACHIE:Why are you wasting precious time? It's fruitless attempting to rescue someone who's made a covenant with ignorance, you know? Erm....... What happened to "SCABBLEBOARD"........ |
aribisala0:I didn't have to do a further check on you, having followed from your first comment since the thread was amplified. It's pointless seeking to help an unrepentant dunderhead. That said, if you equate yourself into this class, fine. If not, finer. Harm yourself with these links, just your warped curiosities could be massaged: http://www.wespa.org/index.shtml https://www./222021547845043/ https://www./753967454676863/https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1707876285929975&id=100294126688207 https://www./222021547845043/permalink/4029670313746795/ |
aribisala0:I've answered your question about being Scrabble's Number One Playing Nation. But it appears you're poised for the argument part rather than to seek enlightenment. |
aribisala0:For the purpose of education only: A country who has the highest number of performers(in quota) the elite category (Master) in any WESPA Championship. E.G if 2017 edition currently on going sees 7/8 Nigerians finishing top 20, that's a no-brainer. That should answer you. |
Statsocial:You have a valid point. But would the so-called church "in dire need" BE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO APPROACH LFC, asking to occupy for Sunday use? |
Defending Champion, Nigeria's Wellington Jighere led on the first two days. Today being the 3rd day, two other Nigerians are contending for top position, along with the greatest Scrabble player of all time, Nigel Richard. So, in the mix are 3 Nigerians in top 5. Isn't this country blessed? |
and the Information Minister, what's pominent about that?
