vickylincon: ok. you all claimed tinibu was corrupt even though he was not pronounced guilty in any court. You also said he was dismissed and wrongly cleared by this cct. so, I think I should put the question to you. But all the same, my stand is that if tinubu is indeed corrupt and wrongly dismissed, that doesn't mean we should now put a blind eye on saraki face when you can clearly see the allegations. I lived in Ilorin and I know about the societal generale bank, not to talk of the allegations about house...or is it the kanu agabi issue? haba, one wrong doesn't make all wrong right Adding up the Bola Tinubu case to this makes it all the more muddled up because I never mentioned or implied anything on him. It's just your imaginations playing pranks on you. I'm tempted to join issues with you, to be honest, at least for the purpose of merely educating you, but I'll just walk away because of your very bizarre line of thought. You can make your case without concocting lies to buttress whatever points you're intent on making. |

sarrki: Making Malami Attorney General
Buhari actually called Femi Falana on phone telling him to get prepared to work in his cabinet(Falana himself attested to this in an interview with Channels TV) but Falana is not a politician just like Evans is not also a politician, the politician from Ekiti got the job and today, here we are! ONE MINISTER PER STATE. Yeye!
FEMI FALANA as ATTORNEY GENERAL will not be losing Anticorruption cases serially the way this dunce is losing it.
LET US choose the best among us, if not, we will all suffer from our foolish addiction to mediocrity!
Saraki As Senate President
I have criticised PMB on several occasions. On the emergence of MESU as SP, on retaining certain mediocrities within his government, on his lackadaisical attitude towards providing leadership needed by the APC etc but on this war on corruption and continuous loss of prominent cases of corruption, I cannot blame him.
His major campaign word in 2015 was "if we(not I) don't kill corruption, corruption will kill us.."....tHIS statement means that war against corruption involves Division of Labour. PMB will fight it, Judiciary will fight it, NASS will fight it, PEOPLE will fight it. Every one has a responsibility. And Division of Labour is not a mere sharing of duties, the duties are shared according to area of Specialisation. PMB's job is prosecution and he has set a motion for the prosecution of untouchables and mighty. From the Senate President to the High level Judges, Lawyers(S.A.N inclusive) to former powerful office holders. His job is to prosecute. Unfortunately, Buhari only exists in the executive, if he had headed judiciary and NASS too, we won't be losing glaringly good cases on the alter of hypocritical technicalities and meaningful laws to help the war would have been passed. Also, if PMB had not tried or given impression that he will try the high and might of the NASS and judiciary, if it were to be war on corrupt teachers, vendors and farmers, may be the other arms would have cooperated.
MESU earthly but temporary triumph yesterday is the failure of the people of Nigeria who choose to remain helpless and always think that their governmental duties end at the poll! Unfortunately, their mouths are only good at doing one thing...Abusing PMB!
Crafty MESU dropped all his lawyers and went for Agabi. He knew what he was doing. He knew he can't defend himself because he is a thief, so he went for a plan that will compromise the case. Recall, PMB stood his ground and took him to court. Agabi was Danladi's former boss, Danladi's brother works in his Chambers till date and the Prosecution Lawyer Rotimi Jacobs was his former Personal Assistant. Unfortunately, the inexperienced Attorney General did not reconstitute or advise PMB to reconstitute CCT before the announcement of prosecution and he didn't change Jacobs when MESU changed his own lawyers knowing well the relationship between his own lawyer and Mesu new lawyer.
Old man Agabi, a rich and comfortable lawyer who in his heart of hearts know that Mesu is a thief ought not to have taken such a case. Gani Fawehinmi once rejected a similar case from a Governor. Everyone has failed Nigeria and the future of the incoming generation because of vanities!
I stand with BUHARI......IF WE DONT KILL CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION WILL KILL US.
Senate has full control of itself. Judiciary has full control of itself. These two are PRO CORRUPTION ARMS without remorse. Executive is also corrupt but there lies the hope if anything good will happen but unfortunately, it is the only arm that has no control!!!
I pity Sagay. I Think the man should resign too unless a new deal is cut. However, my respect for Sagay knows no bounds!!! Your IDIOCY is aptly likened to the biblical "Teke teke mene yufasin"(both the deaf and the blind can hear and see it). Did Buhari make Saraki SP? For obvious reasons, these political complexities are too sophisticated for a buffoon like you to comprehend. SARAKI BECAME SENATE PRESIDENT BECAUSE HE WON MAJORITY OF THE VOTES OF HIS COLLEAGUES (THE SENATE). I can understand your cries though; because Omo Oloye has floored your principal time and again. To be honest, I'd expected you and your fellow used-and-dumped BMCs to sulk after the CCT victory for #SaiBukky. But I couldn't possibly imagine it would make front page on Nairaland. That's what Nairaland has reduced itself to. Giving the centre stage to morons. I have a recommendation for you however, mister idiot. In your own interest, in any case. GET A LIFE, SARRKI

ivolt: You fail to ask yourself the most important question which is: who is a gospel singer ? Many of you make this mistake and argue blindly without a firm position. Does being promiscuos disqualify someone of being a gospel singer ? I obviously have to rest it here as I can't help you any further. |

ivolt: He is a gospel musician, fathering a child out of wedlock doesn't invalidate that. This succinctly explains what has become of our moral fibre. For the avoidance of doubt, I'll seek to educate a myopic mind. That he fathers a child out of wedlock doesn't make me or anyone else better than him or make him less of a man. No rational human being would judge him on that premise. No. But his conduct as an entertainer is what counts; for which he's been found wanting time and again. Have you wondered why he was nicknamed "ATABESE"(simply being interpreted as "someone who soothes a itching vagina" ? Oh! You don't know, right? Ask questions next time dude. |

Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba aka Atorise, says his wife has forgiven his worst trespass against her; fathering a child outside their marriage. Atorise, who has reputation of being promiscuous, said those castigating him are not better in a recent interview he granted. Dear OP, please make wide research and consultations before coming online to post whatever. Atorise IS NOT a Gospel musician. A fact he has since confirmed. Okay? Except of course, you're high on some cheap shepe. MODIFIED This is to y'all mentioning me

maclatunji: Google 'Western Sahara', the region that Morocco has annexed since the 70s after Spain. It has a direct border with Mauritania which used to be an ECOWAS member. This is a subtle attempt by Morocco to ensure that territory remains under its control. It might also make it difficult for Nigeria to keep supporting the Polisario front which is the body made-up of Saharawi people fighting for independence. Yes I'm aware they're afraid to lose grounds on old annexed territories. Which is why I questioned the rationale. If you understand my comment well, it's a veiled pass at the ECOWAS "henchmen" who ensured the agenda materialised. Trust me, I saw it coming. You'll recall Buhari visited Morocco a while back. What did you think was topmost on the agenda? Remember also, the Moroccan king reciprocated Buhari's gesture severally. Goodwill messages, solidarity visits, etc. We sabi as e dey go jare. |

The rationale behind the move still beats me. I understand bi-lateral interests but ECOWAS is a sub-regional formation, for the life of me. And the last time I checked, Morocco is up there in the north. Besides, have they given up their Arab/Gulf identity?
Anyways, the only good news is West African hustlers can now travel there visa-free.
Goan get your ECOWAS passport if you don't already have. Oya gbera, Morocco ti ya. |

Unfortunately, you never read the terms and conditions before completing your booking. If you had, you'll have seen. That said, I'll advise you convert the cancelled quota to another use. That's a smarter deal for both parties, methinks. The other part to it is if you know someone there, other than the "ever-courteous" customer service personnel, who would gladly help resolve your complaint. There's certainly a way out. But a refund? I doubt.

The appropriation is in the latter stage, needing the constitutionally-backed Presidential assent. You now understand, right? Ask questions next time sir. |
