Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel declares war readiness as Hamas springs surprise multiple attacks by adebayo987: 12:19pm On Oct 11, 2023
Timoleon:

Yes. Isreal was created ON Palestine while displacing Palestinians.

Before creation of Isreal in 1948, Arabs, Jews, Christians, Muslims in that corridor held one passport ‘Palestine’!

This was confirmed by former isreali prime minister Golda Meir. Na Zionism, colonialism and apartheid change status quo.
The present day Israel is the only way to save the Jews. If all Israelis were Muslims no single attack would have happened. But because from their prime minister to key stakeholders and government officials including nationals are jews, they're hated to exist in their midst. Nobody should deceive you, this is a religious war and not a land dispute thing that you're told to believe.

Let's use Nigeria as an example, if Kaduna South with majority of Christians suddenly becomes a sovereign state, they will suffer the same fate as Israel under the disguise of land dispute.

Dr. Morgan ones said,
Not all Muslims are terrorists but almost all terrorists are Muslims.

This adage is more true than you think because a particular religion believe in violence as their only means of control.

Terrorism is a global evil that should be condemned in all guises.
He's only talking because no venezuelan was killed/slaughtered or kidnapped by HAMAS.
You didn't only kidnap but massacred isrealis and foreigners.
And you don't want isreal to react ,you also want the government of those slaughtered foreigners to support you.
Who does that?
The fools were still firing numerous missiles into isreal today and still shouting genocide at the same time.
Do they reason at all?
They're humans with cow brains

I love when Israel is very hard in their speech. These Islamic bigotries think that they're the only ones who can make such harsh statements like this and still go ahead to massacre people. I think this was why they attacked in the first place. They thought Israel would be so foolish to by announcing their airstrikes giving them time to escape.

I very much hate the Venezuelan President supporting these terrorists whose only targets are unarmed civilians including children. I pray may his country receive the same fate. I will be the first to support the terrorist attacks.

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has accused Israel of “genocide” against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Maduro made his comment in a televised address on Monday.

“The Secretary-General of the United Nations issued a statement, which we read carefully, as a warning and alert about the genocide that has begun against the Palestinian people in Gaza,” said the Venezuelan leader. “We have witnessed in the past massacres and brutal atrocities against the Palestinian people.” The current situation, he pointed out, is a “new apartheid system” against Palestinians.

“We demand an immediate ceasefire, respect for UN resolutions, respect for the rights of peoples, and the commencement of peace negotiations to allow the Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights to independence, land and peace.”

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said earlier in the statement referred to by Maduro that, “While I recognise Israel’s legitimate security concerns, I also remind Israel that military operations must be conducted in strict accordance with international humanitarian law.” He added that he is “deeply distressed” by the announcement that Israel will initiate a complete siege of the Gaza Strip, with nothing allowed in: “No electricity, food or fuel.”

That announcement was made by Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant. He also described Palestinians as “human animals”, in a blatant effort to dehumanise the people of occupied Palestine living under Israel’s military occupation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday evening that the death toll from Israel’s bombardment had risen to 704, including 140 children and 105 women. Almost 4,000 people have been wounded. Israeli media reported that the number of Israeli deaths had reached 900, with 2,616 wounded.

Goodlady:
If you are a man with no handsome income, you v no reason to woo a lady nor date her. Infact, don't get married so that you won't Infect the woman with your poverty or unbalanced life. It's not a must to be in a relationship. Afterall purpose of humans on earth isn't for procreation or marriage alone. Broke men can decide to be monks.
I v seen enough from men that fathered many children they can't cater from and I blame those women that opened legs for them.
Some men even have money to still cater but chose to be unfortunate and irresponsible. A man that service his car regularly should be able to take car of a woman.
I hope males on this forum are up and doing and responsible. Ema se oriburuku by not taking care of your women.
The goddess has spoken!
I can see the frustration. E be like your broke boyfriend don break your heart. The question is, what were you doing dating a broke man?

The thing with nowadays girls is that they assume that broke people today will be broke forever. I think you need to go and read the history of most wealthy men including the present day famous Elon Musk, they were broke people. No one was born with money and if you're entering a relationship or dating men for money then prepare to be frustrated by money as the one with handsome money won't see only you as a woman, he'll be flirting with multiple women and even infect you with STD.

So, your post is obviously born out of frustration with broke guys. Sorry ya?

Those whose standard of living is average and above already knew Nigerians deserve more and Nigeria has the capacity to do far better than its doing today are the ones pained by these unfortunate leadership system but the very poor who dont know their right from their left swallow any and every deceit the thieves in the Nigerian leadership shove at them to the extent they celebrate and praise these leaders when they throw remnants at them.
This is terribly unfortunate because these set of population are in the majority.
The poor are not the problem of leadership, my brother. The poor have no say in leadership as they're mere followers and can be controlled in such a way that you will think that they're in support of it. It's common psychology. Their cries have no result, their efforts are trampled underfoot, and their voices are trashed and flushed down the toilet. They're the least of the least. Our problems are the rich leaders who has seen money that belongs to the poor but divert it and decide it remain so. Blaming the poor shows how there's a psychological problem that has to do with the understanding of the root cause. The only voice of the poor which appears to be election has also been trashed and flushed, which made their efforts in acquiring PVCs and queueing in the sun and rain to change leadership fruitless. And finally their only hope which lies with the judiciary is shattered. Now their final stand which is protest is threatened with their own life on the line. So, people in this kind of situation will definitely accept whatever comes to them for "survival (the most important thing in life)"
Politics / Re: Israel/hamas Conflict: Lagos Airlifts 310 Christian Pilgrims Back Home by adebayo987: 2:10pm On Oct 10, 2023
Biodun556:
Hamas attack happened on Palestine soil not the so called southern Israel

Hamas merely made attempt to recover their stolen land from Israel illegal settlements

This is UN Security council resolution on Israel illegal settlements

The resolution states that Israel's settlement activity constitutes a "flagrant violation" of international law and has "no legal validity". It demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention.[2][3]

It was the first UNSC resolution to pass regarding Israel and the Palestine territories since Resolution 1860 in 2009,[4] and the first to address the issue of Israeli settlements with such specificity since Resolution 465 in 1980.[5][6] While the resolution did not include any sanction or coercive measure and was adopted under the non-binding Chapter VI of the United Nations Charter, Israeli newspaper Haaretz stated it "may have serious ramifications for Israel in general and specifically for the settlement enterprise" in the medium-to-long term.[6]

The text was welcomed by much of the international community in the following days. According to Murray McCully, former Minister of Foreign Affairs for New Zealand, Resolution 2334 reinforces the international community's commitment to a negotiated outcome [7] while former Canadian ambassador Paul Heinbecker noted that, Israeli and Palestinian narratives notwithstanding, resolution 2334 "reflects what the world thinks. It does not constitute a minority view or even a very divided view. If this resolution of the 15-member UN Security Council were put to a vote in the 193-member General Assembly, the outcome would scarcely be different."[8] In response, the government of Israel retaliated with a series of diplomatic actions against some members of the Security Council,[9][10] and accused the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama of having secretly orchestrated the passage of the resolution. Palestine's representatives stated this was an opportunity to end the occupation and establish a Palestinian state to live side by side with the state of Israel on the 1967 line.[11
make them check those people wey write this thing, they're mostly ANTI-JEW. Hitler was ANTI-JEW too, so it's common to see everyone become ANTI-JEWs. The same ANTI-JEWs British and Rome renamed Israel and call it Palestine.

This is a religious battle. Don't let the land matter to deceive you. Even if Israel is called Palestine today, the next move will be against Jews and Christians living there.

It is either ignorance or pure wickedness to say they always start the attack. There’s an apartheid regime against Palestines in those regions. It simply means the Palestine are perpetually under attack. As long as
Isreal denies them basic existence and right to nationhood
the reverse is the case here.
they are under attack. This is not a new struggle so nothing is starting because the old one never ended.

Go to history and read it quite well. Israel was on exile and on their return only the small land where they exist now was left for them, which was even taken by force and given to them. This Palestinians don't want to see Israel exist in their midst like a dot in a circle. Religion and economic war now made it worse as where they occupy now rich due to tourism (Islamic and Christianity inclusive).

They always start the attack smiling and end in tears. It's no longer new, as we're getting used to it. Just that their Islamic international community will be shouting "unfair & injustice" by the time Israel responds by defending themselves. Now they will not talk to their people or condemn this "surprised" attack but they will be all out campaigning against and condemning Israel for defending themselves.

The major problems we have on earth are:
1. Diseases
2. Islam
3. Natural disasters
4. Corruption
5. Population

Let them scrap domiciliary account and enforce Automated Clearing House (ACH), such that one can receive any international currency directly into their Naira account and be able to send Naira to international accounts directly from your Nigerian Naira account, just as the US, UK, China, Russia, (other big countries with floated currency), etc. have no domiciliary account but instead allow the use of such currency only via international third parties, then promote the use of their own currency only.

Here in Nigeria, our politicians pay in foreign currencies just to hide their crime but assuming such windows were squeezed to the Naira, it would have exposed a lot of them.

Also, it would strengthen our currency and make it very dominant especially now that Naira is floated.

In a manual processing country like Nigeria it's normal to happen so. Even as digitised as the US, they still have trillions of dollars outside their banking system. This is not our problem, this is Emefiele and Buhari cabal's problem. We need serious investment in technology, agriculture, electricity, education and a living minimum wage and not some inhuman currency policies. Okay?

U must be a fool jst like tinubu. So i worked for foreign establishment n get paid in usd.u are saying cbn should collect my usd forcefully n giv me naira at some official rate?again God punish u
That was my opinion. I wasn't attacking some idï🥴ots. Nigeria has float its currency, so domiciliary account is totally irrelevant. USA has no domiciliary account for foreign currencies, instead all foreign currencies sent to the US are converted to Dollars, however, if you wish to use your currency, you can do so via third international parties. UK, Russia and China has exactly the same policy and it's working fine for them. Go to Ghana, open an account and send any currency the account, it will be converted to Cedis. Since we've float the Naira, domiciliary account is totally unnecessary as Naira will be at the same rate with the forex market anywhere. Secondly, people like you should be in the toilet pit as you devalue your currency by promoting foreign currencies.
Politics / Re: I Will Abandon Emiefele's Policies - New CBN Governor Yemi Cardoso Vows by adebayo987: 7:20pm On Sep 27, 2023
Please do...

Also scrap domiciliary account and enforce Automated Clearing House (ACH) such that one can receive any international currency directly into their Naira account converted automatically, as well as send Naira to other currencies easily, with BVN as the only requirement!

Thank you.
