Mabel might have pioneered Funmi's change but her current situation is of her own doing. Masturbation and sex are very different and sex with a married man is way too much, Mabel wouldn't cheat on her husband or have an affair with someone who's married, so stop blaming her. Funmi decided to have sex on her own, same way she decided to steal Mabel's family and turn her daughter against her, that's because she's selfish. Tade never led her on, he was depressed and drunk and he took responsibility for his mistake, he didn't make her believe he loved her, he told her it was a one night stand. And it definitely wasn't rape, 2 adults had sex and she thinks that's enough for him to leave his family, very delusional. Tade and Mabel aren't innocent but d bulk of the blame is Funmi's. Will you ppl still blame Mabel for d change in Funmi's dressing, she even went to her parent's house like that and expected them to believe she's innocent.

She broke up with him when he was about to propose... that's devastating. And she said she thought about it for some time, how can u convince someone whose mind is already made up? So there's nothing d guy can do as long as his mom is still around. I don't think it's fair tho that he has to pay for his mom's crimes but d woman already pushed Dupe to the wall. I'm lost, y is Funmi lying to herself and everybody or is she innocent? I doubt that tho. I know in d beginning I was in support of Dupe and Sylvester but now I don't think I like d combo anymore. Their relationship is not based on love like hers with Uche, I think it's just attraction/admiration and Dupe just wants to be there for him and comfort him like a true friend should. I think they should just be good friends

I don't get y people keep blaming Mabel for Funmi's bad decisions. She's an adult responsible for all her choices. I think people aren't really blaming Tade because he was drunk and emotionally drained but Funmi wasn't. Besides, she's a virgin and a Christian, she should have been able to prevent it since it's her first time. And she also knows about what Mabel's friends said about Nigerian ladies and how Mabel defended her.
