English Government destroyed Chelsea. They clamped down on Russia and targeted Abramovich. Once they forced him out they sold the club to someone that has no idea how football runs.

The new owner is a businessman. He is okay with making a profit.

Chelsea fans will cry for a long time.

They did that in the past but the council still maintains that only the student spouse is entitled to 25% even when it’s clearly stated on the dependent’s Brp that restricted work and no claim to public funds.

This is really the first time am hearing of a council being stubborn about this, the bankruptcy has probably gone into their head and just want to get money anyway.

With the evidence from their site and brp supporting no claim to public funds and restricted work, won’t they win the council if they eventually get charged to courts, Tbh, I wouldn’t want them to pay any dime because it’s so clear they shouldn’t be paying based on what is clear on their website.

Modified: They reached out to citizen’s advice and they also said they are not meant to pay.

They are not meant to pay shishi. A full-time student and non British partner dependent. This is clear on every council's website. When they disturbed me in my own council that year I quoted their site in my mail and we were exempted. In this UK study to show yourself approved on every matter or else pounds go just dey show you shege

Hi good people.

I wanted to run this by the house. We recently switched from our TIER 4 visa to PSW as a family. My spouse and I got our new BRP.

I wanted to generate the share code for the right to work, after imputing the new number of my new BRP in the UK. gov site it said it doesn't match. Same for my wife.

But I then tried the old BRP number on my former TIER 4 dependent BRP. It worked and generated the share code. Showing my current visa status.
Same for my wife.

Is this normal?

For every new BRP, there is always a new number, right?
Because the number on the expired BRP is different from the one on the new BRP.
But it's the number on the expired BRP that is giving me the share code.

Should I contact UKVI

Na Code 84 dem issue you be that, If you can screenshot the ticket, I can help interpret to you as I partially work as a civil enforcement officer . Where did you get the ticket? I hope I wasn’t the one who issued you 😹. You always get 11mins grace before an officer can issue the ticket. Seems you totally forgot. Best to use ringo for payment as it would always notify you by phone before expiry and once it’s expired and can be renew on your mobile

Edited: I just read that it’s a private car park and not council owned. I might not be able to help though .the picture attached isn’t bold enough for me to read.
Wow. I also worked temporarily as a civil enforcement officer for one week. I enjoyed the experience though and learnt a lot about cars and traffic rules. But I stopped because of the racial discrimination I faced while working in the field. You must be a tough to do this job.
Salute sir.

It is well. Don’t let it stop you from doing good sha. That’s how a relative kept asking me questions about student job, type of courses to apply etc, after telling all I know to her and guiding her in choosing a relevant course, location etc, when she came into U.K. she told her people that anytime she ask me questions I don’t answer on time ( me with me night job shift, next time I will tell people to call me 1am when am on break then they will understand ) and she blocked me, it doesn’t bother me but I learnt my lessons but won’t stop helping if information if I have.
Some Nigerians are not understanding and wise. This is part of the reason I hardly commit myself to going any extra mile for people, I do what is in my power and allow you to figure out the rest. Me that i am just a year plus here, I cant be forming saviour and deliverer.
The pressure of managing ones family and bills, I will now go and add extra headache.

No. not me.

Allow me to rephrase that ... This is one issue I have with the deceitful, hypocritical, sanctimoniosly, pharaseeism, double standard, double-dealing, self-acclaimed defender of the society, getting children adopted or taking into foster care with pretense, will it gaurantee the child is properly raised? ...
? is, why do we have lots of societal ill vice in predominantly BAME areas.
PS: I condemned in the strongest term, abuse in the family, whether against children or wife or husband. #NoToAbuse

Just asking? cant the parents being investigated send their kids back to naija for holiday immediately and leave them there till the dust is settled. some British parents are bad with parenting, very bad. with what I have seen here in the space of one year, yet the focus of some of this social workers is on gullible immigrants. Abuse in any form should not be tolerated but cant we all see a pattern here that a particular group is being targeted.

After all the stress of cost of living in this UK, one will now add Social Worker matter to the mix.

If the agent made over 400 payments, with improper records keeping........ Where do you start from........

The simplest way forward is for the applicant, to redirect the payment........ If not, someone would be having an early xmas present........😂🤣

My fear is how easy will it be to redirect the payment?

I called IHS and they said that the money will be paid back to the card that was used to make the initial payment.
They will only ask us for a new account to pay the money into if it fails to enter the card that was initially used.
Our prayer now is that the transaction should fail so that they can ask us for a new account to refund the money
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Adedoks(m): 12:26pm On Feb 13, 2023
Hi family,
Please I need clarity concerning IHS refund. I need answers and help. we are a family of 5 and we applied for IHS refund and it is now successful. and we will be refunded in 6 weeks.

but the card we used for the IHS payment was that of an agent in naija then. now the agent is claiming that she cannot refund the money when it is paid because she cant remember the card she used for the payment.

My question is can I tell the IHS REFUND TEAM that I want them to refund the money to another account.

please has anyone given IHS reimbursement team another account for the refund?

Hello

Yes UKVI will refund your IHS to the account the payment was made from unless instructed otherwise.

In this case since you have confirmed this has been paid, it now becomes a case between you and your agent

Unfortunately there's nothing UKVI or your Uni can do since they acted on your behalf unless it is a rep for your UnI then perhaps you can go through them and request they intervene(very slim chance)

If they aren't reps from your Uni then you have to find a way to get it out from them.

Another reason we avoid agents and advise DIY

Cheers

unless instructed otherwise. please how do i go about this? I have a family of 5 and we just got a mail that our IHS refund application is now successful and we will be refunded within 6 weeks. but the challenge now is the person that paid our ihs is an agent in naija. how do we change the account they pay into

This number above scammed a family relative of mine concerning Tier 2 processing for Care work.
This happened two weeks ago.
He will send a paga account for his victims to send money.

He is in the Uk and he calls himself Doctor Benson. Based in Birmingham
I doubt if that is his real name.
And he sent pics claiming he is the one in red and the people he helped to get visas.

He claims to be an agent.
I posted his number because he is actively scamming people.

Those looking for Tier 2 visas be careful.

Adamawa is very safe. I finished from unilag in 2012 and was posted there when it was really hot. ( Boko Haram and all) but I still went.

I remain grateful to God I took that step. I served in Yola, I met my wife in Adamawa. Northerners are peaceful and loving people. They love corpers.

You can give it a try.
