Family / Re: If You Were Switched At Birth, Would You Like To Return To Your Real Family? : by adeg(m): 3:37pm On Feb 16, 2007 |
Really hard. Will likely decide to stick where I am raised already, but may drop the surname for my children and start my own genealogy. If the biological parents are better off, they may assist in upbringing. Will be visiting them and also accept them naturally. |
Family / Fear Of Accident In My Children by adeg(m): 8:35am On Feb 15, 2007 |
I nearly had an auto-accident with my four children and Mum about a year ago. Since then the children always glue their eyes on the speedometer and start being fearful if it is above 50 kilometers per hour. I hardly exceed 100 km/h. Please advise how do I eliminate/reduce their fear and reassure them |

I dated one while we were in school together and had no regrets; except that we lost contact, so I don't know about her again. I found out the we are all thesame notwithstanding the challenges. |
Phones / Re: Blackberry Gsm by adeg(m): 7:00pm On Sep 08, 2006 |
Blackberry is a hype. PURE AND SIMPLE. It is a bunch of UGLY device with no special advantage whatever over a PocketPC Phone powered with Windows Mobile 5.0 AND you still pay 10k MONTHLY!! for the push mail facility and others that is AVAILABLE free of charge on any PocketPC Phone powered with Windows Mobile 5.0 like g-Smart & Eten (from www.buyright.biz), iMate jam, others with a lot of useful applications Glo is playing on the Naija 'Big Boys and Girls' mentality It is a waste of money from my point of view and people will soon know it for what it really is |

Religion / Re: Religion And Intelligence by adeg(m): 12:48pm On May 20, 2006 |
Man is tripatite: Soul, Spirit and Body. Intelligence is limited by the Soul and Body. But the Spirit controls/dominate the other. Religion tends to 'probe/operate' the Spirit. They are at different levels entirely. Don't think there could be any basis of comparison |

Family / Re: How To Guide A 5-year Old 'In Love' by adeg(m): 11:16am On May 15, 2006 |
Thks for all ur posts. really sensible. Yes, they r just kids - 5 yr olds, and they r just friends. But they disengage themselves from others and 'exclude' the others from their play the moment they see each other, only to play alone together enjoyin each others company. But they so far only play together - nothing negative at all. But the point is they should still play with others even when they are together. This is really why I'm cautious I'm a father, and mine is the boy, |

Family / How To Guide A 5-year Old 'In Love' by adeg(m): 7:44pm On Oct 14, 2005 |
Please advise on guiding two children 'in love'. "Mummy, do you know why I like Odun, because she always play with me" And they always play together just innocently anytime they see each other to exclude every other friends. |
