Media houses are really misleading. CAN Leadership should be more matured, and not calling for religious intolerance. Murder is nothing but muder. Threatening that xtians should defend themselves is also a call on the muslims to defend themselves too. Politicians defended themselves and we saw what it became of the politics today. If religious bodies too start to defend themselves, CAN is inviting to LAWLESS SOCIETY. CAN distrupted the peace in Osun schools, if a muslim body do that, they will be crying fowl |
Open Letter To Niger Delta Avengers And Their Supporters. . Before I start I have a few questions for you supporters. . 1. Where did the Niger Delta Struggle go to in the last 6 years' . 2. Why is there so much vandalization of oil facilities off late' . 3. Is it true you don't want Tompolo arrested . 4. Is the allegations leveled on Tompolo true' If no, why has he not honoured the invitation and if yes, then the so called development money you are looking for was outrightly swallowed by him. . Thank you, permit me to roll in my mind on the issue on ground. . Before the emergence of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as president, the likes of Ankio Briggs, Asari Dokubo, OpunaboNkot 'Tariah, Ledum Metee, Edwin Clark etc were always on Television telling Nigerians and the world how the South-South has been marginalized by the North and the West despiteher oil. . By divine and metaphysical error, Goodluck Jonathan from the South-South, the presumed Nazareth of Nigeria became the president of Nigeria after President Umaru Yaradua's death in 2009.His emergence came as a joyous daybreak to end our age- long marginalization . . There was a beacon light of hope for my region. Immediately, the Niger Delta struggle stumbled and died or gone Comatose. . The Niger Delta activists mentioned above became Jonathan's spokespersons and abandoned the struggle. In 2011, Nigerians, Hausa,Yoruba, Igbo, Christians and Muslims voted massively for Jonathan. Thereafter, administrative thieves were appointed Ministers and head of federal institutions,- Convicted criminals received presidential pardon.- Militants were given contracts running into billions of Naira.- Impunity and corruption became the norm. . All these and many more replaced the Niger Delta struggle for resource control. The need for constant electricity, portable water, good health facilities, good road network, massive manpower development etc went into oblivion. Even the recent Ogoni UNEP report that would have changed the live of an average Ogoni man was not implemented by their regional brother - president. Recall that NDDC was established by Olusegun Obasanjo a Yoruba man. Ministry of Niger and Amnesty Office was established by Late,President Umaru Musa Yaradua, a Northerner. Regrettably, this two federal agencies including NIMASA and NNPC became conduit pipes for Jonathan's Wife, Nyesom Wike, Deziani Allison, Godswill Apkabio and many cronies of Jonathan to Molest and siphon funds meant for the development of the Niger Delta region. . Credibility died. Equity died. Competence died. Due process died. Conscience died. . And the Niger Delta struggle died in their son's hand. . Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi, knowing that the South - South may not have the opportunity of Producing the President of Nigeria again cried out and they called him a betrayer. They fought him with federal might and pushed him out of PDP, a replicate of what Joseph's brothers did when they sold him to the Ishmelites. . But today Amaechi is laughing because they pushed him to stardom. . Even the East/ West road that was awarded by former President Obasanjo and inherited by Yaradua and later Jonathan is still not completed. . Bayelsa State today does not have an airport or a strong federal government institution that can generate employment opportunities for Bayelsa youths. Few months to the Presidential election, Ankio Briggs, Asari Dokubo, Edwin Clark, Nyesom Wike, Tompolo Government, Kingsley Kuku, etc awaken the Niger Delta struggle. . What a shame, What an irony' . For five years nobody heard them because they were swimming and sleeping on money. When Goodluck Ebele Jonathan eventually contested and lost the 2015 Presidential election to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the APC,the House of Assembly of all South-South states became a compensation point for militants ( Former and Active).Everything was done with the police and INEC to ensure that cronies of Jonathan and his wife were declared winners of the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the South-South especially Rivers State and Bayelsa. . And if Jonathan had won the last election and ruled for another ten years, there won't be any hope for the actualization of the Niger Delta Struggle. . Go to Oloibiri and other villages in Ijaw land and see the level of environmental degradation yet their son was president of Nigeria for six years. . People are living a stone-age life over there, no land to build a house, no pipe burn water, no hospital, no school and no road yet some people will seat in Abuja and Portharcourt collecting billions of Naira as Champions of the Niger Delta struggle. . I read some few days ago that the President has directed the release of the funds meant for the clean up of Ogoni Land. What their own son was reluctant to implement after spending a whole six years in office, but here is a man in less than 1 year set up a committee to look into the delay and now they are ripe to implement. . Who is fooling who? Are they fighting for the cause of Niger Delta or their pockets? . When you bomb an oil installation, you put your own people at risk health wise. . Your waters in the village is contaminated . You reduce the federal allocation to the state . You reduce power supply capacity. . Buhari does not stay in your village, he does not need water to drink from your village, the power supply any where he is will not blink a second even if you decide to bomb your whole village. This is a compendium og foolishness. . The people who will suffer from the mental selfish exercise were not empowered the last 6 years, those who benefited from the loots have squandered the loots on women, drinks and landed property if not why has Tompolo even after his bank account was frozen and some of his property sealed by the federal government, he still choose to be in hiding. . Niger Deltans Be Wise! . What Good luck could not give to them in the last 6 years, they now want Buhari to give them in 1 year, madness indeed |
Do you know that money used by FG last year to rescue 28 states that owed their staff, was a proceed from Abacha investment and fotesight for nigeria state. Nobody before him or after him invested with nigeria gas. Good nigerians, dont just judge govt or pple by his enemy or politician judgement. |
All thse fake men of god should be charged for treson! For over 7 years of boko haram wahala, instead of being objective, they are shouting its is islamization. Goodluck, was he acting d agenda of xtianizstion? When will these church leaders be part of progress for once? This is how they pushed the civilised ones to rebel against the church rule and gave birth to NO GOD IN OUR LIFE idea. |
Walelavender:Its a pity. Some people just want to write something sha. Man checking boys, woman checking girls. What is insecurity in this? Others should abandon their religion because of religious tolerance. Most of you will soon grow up, dont think upside down like Fayose. Start positive and embracing life. |
Junior66:Naked? I thought they man was created senses. Even animals were covered with thier hair. Devil made our great grand father unclad. God honour man with cloth. Lets covered up. Dont be another devil for our generation |
breakeven:Personal thing? You should be living in a country that does not recognise religion at all. Live outside the box of your village and see the the living |
utete:I wish you could see beyond your nose. Hijab is a CHOICE, even the western world welcomed the individual choice. What is our problem in nigeria that my CHOICE IS YOUR OWN HEADACHE? |
Okpueze1:Pls check nigeria constitution about friday and working hours. Our learned elders agreed to something for us to live in peace. But we are distegarding it and want that peace, others to keep quiet? How come! |
breakeven:What a level of ignorance and lack civilisation. Civilised worlds allowed to practise their religion without hindrance. But here we just dont want to accept people for what they are |
The exam body is owned by the govt of this country, their regulation and the partners should accomodate every nigerian. For any centre or partner to be making life difficult for people us unacceptable. When did jamb adopted a dressing code, or different rule for different part of the country? Pls JAMB AND OTHERS IN AUTHORITY, dont drag us backward, FORWARD AND BACKWARD NEVER |
Her view should be respected.
|
This summarises the christianity of today.
|
Attention! Attention!! Attention!!! That day is fast approaching. A day of tribulation. A day when people will be dressed in bloody clothes. A day of Fornication. A day, which some people are expecting to come soon. A day that many people will regret for the rest of their lives. A day, that will mark the genesis of sorrow in the life of some people. A day, when many prides will be lost. A day, that some believers are already shopping for the clothes that will suit that day. A day that has no basis in all religions. A day that will later brings shame to people. A day that will makes the wrongdoers feel on top of the World. A day that was said to boost the rate of CONDOMS consumption. A day, they said it signify LOVE. A day that put smile on the face of HOTEL MANAGERS. A day that enrich the pocket of CLUB OWNERS. DO YOU KNOW THAT DAY? They call it VALENTINE'S DAY Dear Brothers and Sisters, Don't celebrate a day that add nothing to your FAITH. Boldly say 'NO' to VALENTINE'S DAY. If you have no one except GOD |
The same MEDIA that supported them when they were diverting security money to campaign fund is still at work. Painting BH as product of a religion and the mumus are still victims of propaganda. |
Those people that have disregarded God instruction will be asking; why cant she follow simple instruction? In deviance to God instructruction? Do that she can be like them and be punished together with them. |
Na wa for this country. Some useless people will say Buhari is against xtians. No matter d agenda against the muslims, the light shall continue to shine Any victimization anywhere will encourage x10 people to be more steadfast. |
U will cause more problems than u are trying to prevent will bad leadership who do not consult rightly |
Some of our so called leaders are trouble shhoters and uncivilized. You want to profer solution to a problem without consulting d victims or potential vixtims. Consultation with right people will surely lead rigteously. Yoruba xtians and igbos - haterz of islam, want to profer solution to problems in Hausa land with muslim majority? ..... hmmmmmm |
It is a pity that even in the jet age, a lot of you are still victims of propaganda and then say they say.... All the listed names, who killed them? Muslims? Who killed millions in Germany? Mislims? Who murdered over 500,000 children in Iraq and still justified it? Muslims We know good muslims every where are living like orphans! No protector except our Lord. Russia said he has rhe record of perpetrator of 9/11. Nobody querry firther. France recognised Palestine, shortly after then, he was bombed and blamed it on muslims, G20 are financing ISIS. is G20 muslim country? Or what is the correlation? Jihadist John and Boko haram john arrested. Nobody query further. Stop using your hand or month anyhow. It is showing ur level of colonosation |
What is islamic in john boko haram? |
Hope haters of religion in ministry of education will not expel her from school because of het hijab. |
How 9-year-old is demystifying Mathematics •Kid prodigy wins N6m scholarship October 22, 2015 Written by: Laolu Harolds Professor Peter Onumanyi, the representative of Professor Adewale Solarin of the National Mathematical Centre, Abuja presenting Morufat Lawal with a trophy WHO says nothing good can come ‘out of Nazareth’? A. D. S. Primary School, Fiditi, Oyo State, may just be one of those obscure public schools, but not anymore – thanks to this kid prodigy, Morufat Yetunde Lawal, who through her sheer brilliance is bringing her school into national prominence, and making a name for herself. No doubt, nine-year-old Morufat is working her way to the top. Currently in Primary 4, Morufat has won several awards of excellence in Mathematics, competing with others well ahead of her in age and academic level. In 2014, Morufat became the first pupil in primary three and in a public school to represent Oyo State at the national level of the prestigious national Mathematics Olympiad organised by the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN). She had been selected to represent her school (A.D.S Primary School, Fiditi) at the local level of the competition. She trounced over 40 other contestants to qualify to represent her local government (Afijio) at the zonal in level. The zonal stage involved 12 winners from four local governments (Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West). Morufat still came tops, despite being in primary three. At the state level of the competition, held at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, she competed with 23 others, who were winners at the respective zones, and came third and was primed to represent Oyo State at the national edition hosted by the University of Ilorin. Here, she was paired with another pupil for the quiz category. The duo came first, beating 40 contestants from other states. She was presented with a cash gift. In December last year, Morufat, as a primary four pupil, again represented Oyo State in Abuja in a JETS competition organised by the Federal Ministry of Education. She took the first prize to the amazement of guests at the event when she was announced as a public school primary four pupil. Also in January 2015, Morufat defeated many other participants to win a Mathematics competition organised by a school – International College of Arts, Science ad Technology (ICAST), Ibadan, sponsored by Sterling Bank Plc. For the 2015 edition of the MAN Olympiad, she effortlessly repeated the 2014 feat at every stage of the competition till the national level hosted by the University of Nigeria (UNN), Enugu campus between August 30 and September 4. Morufat contested with over 50 other state champions and came third. For her brilliant performance, she was awarded a N6 million scholarship by the National Mathematical Centre (NMC), Abuja. Morufat will have her secondary education at the International Model Science Academy, Abuja – a school run by the NMC. Little Morufat has, indeed, proved that the unimpressive infrastructure in public schools notwithstanding, with a good dose of determination, champions can emerge from ‘backstage schools’.

HRH MUHAMMADU SANUSI II's RESPONSE TO HIS MARRIAGE WITH 18 YEARS OLD PRINCESS IS QUITE GRATIFYING: READ: " I am sure NC members all have their views and have kept quiet out of (appropriate) deference to our right to make our individual choice. Obviously, I do not need to explain anything to anyone in a purely personal matter but a few points are worthy of note: 1. The lady in question is 18 and therefore legally of age to marry under all laws and certainly under Muslim law. 2. She is proceeding for her undergraduate education in the UK in January. She had an A in computer science in her O levels and plans to get a degree in computer science. 3. each and everyone of my wives is a university graduate and some have worked and then stopped and in each case the choice was purely theirs. 4. It is a tradition in Kano that emirs and princes in choosing wives consider issues beyond the individual. The family is in every sense a social unit. My predecessor was married to princesses from Ilorin, Katsina and Somoto. 5. The relationship between the late Lamido of Adamawa Aliyu Musdafa the father of the current Lamido is well known. Lamido Aliyu was the first Emir turbaned after Emir Sanusi I and they remained close until Sanusi's death. 6. My own relationship with the current Lamido dates back to 1981 when he was Ciroma and commissioner for works. By the way the Lamido and I are not illiterates we know what we are doing and he does have a PhD in Engineering. 7. My own mother was married in Adamawa and lived there for more than two decades and I have eight younger brothers and sisters from there. 8. it is therefore natural that if I choose to marry from another kingdom Adamawa would be the first choice for me and I am extremely happy to strengthen these long historical bonds. 9. The young lady in question gave her free consent and even after the contract the wedding will not happen for a few years. By then she may be 21. If she freely consents to this I do not know on what moral grounds anyone has a grouse. She is an adult, she gave her consent, her education is not being in anyway interrupted. 10. The real issue is that people do not accept cultural difference. And you can see it in the approach to these issues. I am supposed to be urbane and western educated. Yes but i am not European. I am a northern Nigerian Fulani Muslim brought up in a setting exactly like the one my children are being brought up in. If you read this and it improves your understanding of this issue that is fine. If it does not just remember it is gbnot your life, it is not your daughter and you are not my wife therefore it is not your business. I obviously cannot stoop to the level of responding publicly to these kinds of articles. I have always been an advocate of girls marrying after maturing. I personally like the minimum age of 18 even though i understand those who say 16 is fine and indeed this is the law in most so called @advanced@ countries. Is this something that I expect a European or western trained or feminist mind to appreciate or endorse? Not at all. But has any american been bothered about my views on men marrying men or women marrying women which frankly I find primitive and bestial? No and my views do not matter. These are cultural issues. Even in Nigeria I have heard all this stuff as in Pius article about "north" and northerners. Again it is a failure to respect difference. There are parts if this country where parents expect their daughters to live with their boyfriends for years and actually get pregnant before they marry. It has become culture. We do not have that in the north and if your daughter gets pregnant before marriage she brings nothing but shame to the name. But we do not issue condemnations. We agree that this is how they choose to live. And i can give many other examples. When people use the term libido they do themselves injustice. First of all it shows how they view women and marriage. Women are nothing but the object of sexual desire. Marriage is nothing but sexual gratification. Well I am sorry but in my tradition it is not. Beauty and attraction rank third after religion and lineage in the choice of a wife. They see an 18 year old young lady. I see a princess of noble birth whose mother is also a princess, and who has been brought up in a good Muslim home. This is the kind of woman that is prepared for hiving birth to princes and bringing them up for the role expected of them in society. Marriage is both social and political. Expanding the links of Kano which have already been established by my predecessors through intermarriage with Katsina, sokoto, Ilorin, Katagum, Ningi, Bauchi etc to Adamawa is an important and significant step and this is obvious to anyone with a sense of how royal families work and Ibn Khaldun's sociological concept of Asabiyyah. When the emir of Kano marries it has to be something beyond what he personally desires to what is appropriate for that position and the expectations of the people he represents. You don't just pick up any girl on the street. And by the way for those who shout libido sex is cheap and available everywhere in all shapes and sizes and all colours if that is what they want. And all ages too. Marriage is a very different proposition. The mother of your children has to be something other than, or at least much more than a mere object of sexual fantasy. But if you do not know that you need to buy yourself a brain. I have daughters. And they know they can only marry from certain backgrounds. I always prefer family. When my daughter wanted to marry Mouftah baba Ahmed's son and she asked me, knowing my views on family, i told her Mouftah is family. And this is not about me and Mouftah or me an Hakeem or Nafiu. No. It goes back to Baba Ahmed and Emirs Sanusi and Bayero. And the same rule applies to my sons. And it applied to me as well. It is I am sure very strange that I should even bother to comment on this. But it would be hypocritical for me to just keep quiet so long as these things are being posted and commented upon explicitly or in a snide manner. There was no secrecy in the marriage Fatiha. The date was fixed and it was to be done in the central mosque after Friday prayers. The day before we had a tragedy in Saudi Arabia and decided the Fatiha must be very low key as a mark of respect for the dead. All traditional rulers in Adamawa were there, as were governors and commissioners, members of my own emirate council and Adamawa people. There is nothing here to hide or be apologetic about. The emirs of Adamawa have shown love to my parents and grandparents and it is a sign of my appreciation of their love that i marry their daughter. This is the highest statement of friendship and loyalty on both sides. Again if you understand this this is fine. If you do not buy yourself a brain, A la Pius. In any event this is my one and final and only comment on this. And I am making it out of respectg |
The pleasure of being a muslim cannot be explained. Even if explained, cannot be understood by the mind and heart that have rebelled against their creator. what is our way out when the JUDGEMENT day comes? look critically at your creation, enviroment around you, your sustenance... can you actually dissociate yourself away from your creator? pls brethren dont be carried away by the bubbles of this temporary world. those in mecca, we wish them acceptable hajj and safe journey back to their destination, |
Thank God for the survivors. May Allah that they worship accept their return. some of those reasons given by western journalists added to this piece is irrelevant. receiving vip etc. is the king palace along jamrah route? nothing was delayed even for OBAMA visit! the 2 gates closed were closed by other pilgrims for their own safety too. Those that have their mind closed can never see anything good in other people. no reward for death in hajj other paradise. these dead will be raised in their white garment saying labaika... WHOEVER DOES NOT DIE IN MAKKAH WILL DIE OF SOMETHING ELSE. WHERE WILL YOU DIE AND How do you want to meet your Lord. |
may Allah have mercy on their departed soul. he has taught us that it is possible to live righteous life and still reach the peak of the career. He served in several committees with corrupt ones even in NASS and refused to be corrupt as if he knows he will not live long before meeting his Lord. he died at the age of 49. |
surely, Nigeria is on the path to recovery. Haters of progress, beneficials of yesterday government will continue to make noise. northerners..... use and dumps, federal xters etc just to distract... keep up the good work; ASIWAJU OF NIGERIA POLITICS. |
