Marriage is overrated in Africa
Nairaland GeneralWhy Should We Not Talk? by Adejoncy01(op):
If I am not suffering from amnesia and my knowledge of history serves me right, this year, Nigeria will be exactly sixty years old. Yes, you heard me! But the question is, what do the country has to show for it? Absolutely nothing! Unless you are expecting me to mention; epileptic/no power supply, poor/no health care system, insecurity, misappropriation of public funds among others as what Nigeria had achieved at sixty.

It is not really certain who should shoulder the blame for the situation the country found itself today, nevertheless, one cannot but agree with me that the large portion of the blame goes to the leaders from time immemorial. The Nigerian leaders lackadaisical attitude towards good governance is second to none. But how long are we going to watch?

I live in a country where the law is for the common man, elite are obviously above the law. The common man is a foreigner on his/her own land. His/her dream is batterd by government reckless policies. The ordinary citizens cannot sleep with their two eye closed. People keep languishing in pain.

Despite all these turmoil, we are still asked not to talk. Not to hold these supposed leaders accountable for their own actions and inactions. Not to objectively criticize them to do the needful, for the fear of the unknown. We are afraid of death when we are really not living. Tell me, why should we not talk? Why afraid of death when not living?

The bottom line is, your enemy is not that your friend on the other divide, but our leaders, they are our common enemies. Let's hold every one of them accountable, from the councillorship to presidency level. Together, we can install effective leadership!

EducationHelp Me Out With This! by Adejoncy01(op): 11:05am On Mar 13, 2020
 ATTENTION

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS;

1.The Moody diagram illustrates the effect of roughness on the friction factor in turbulent flow but indicates no effect of roughness in laminar flow. Explain why this is so. Are there any restrictions or limitations that should be placed on this conclusion? Explain.

2.You have a large supply of very rusty 2 in. sch 40 steel pipe, which you want to use for a pipeline. Because rusty metal is rougher than clean metal, you want to know its effective roughness before laying the pipeline. To do this, you pump water at a rate of 100 gpm through a 100 ft long section of the pipe and find that the pressure drops by 15 psi over this length. What is the effective pipe roughness, in inches?

3.A pump takes water from the bottom of a large tank where the pressure is 50 psig and delivers it through a hose to a nozzle that is 50 ft above the bottom of the tank at a rate of 100 lbm/s. The water exits the nozzle into the atmosphere at a velocity of 70 ft/s. If a 10 hp motor is required to drive the pump, which is 75% efficient, find:
The friction loss in the pump (b) The friction loss in the rest of the system.
Express your answer in units of ft lbf/lbm.

It was in 1879, that Henry Morton, a great scientific mind and the then president of the Stevens Institute of Technology called Thomas Edison a "conspicuous failure" when he was trying to invent the light "bulb". But you know what? He was proved wrong.

History has it that Apple's co-founder, Steve Wozniak offered his then employer, Hewlett Packard the Apple I PC computer different times, begging HP to manufacture it. On five different occasions, HP rejected it, outright. Wozniak was mocked by his former employer, and eventually struck out on his own. Well, we all know the story today.

There are too many instances that time will fail me to mention. The truth is, ideas and inventions that changed or influenced the world greatly were at first mocked or rejected. Things people thought was not possible. No wonder the popular saying, "it will always seems impossible until it's done".

As long as there will be day and night, the naysayers won't cease to exist. They are quick to show you your weaknesses and all that. They have the register of those who tried and did not succeed it.

Life is for the risk takers, those who dare to stand out from the crowd. You want to become relevant to your generation and those yet unborn? Then, stop listening to the naysayers today, those who know too many reasons why something can't be done.

If there is anyone who can stop you from becoming whatever in life, it is you, no one else can. So, don't let anyone stop you from reaching the peak.

I don't think so. Even enterpreneurs don't easily get loans how much more students without a means of income or hopes of getting employed after they graduate. You can try out all those loan apps
All right.
