shafanik:
Hello my friend,

I just want to share with you a message about the love of Christ. John 3 vs 16 says God so much loved you that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to shed his blood for you.

Dear friend, Jesus died so you can access salvation with eternal life. As you receive Christ into your life today, I assure you that you will never remain the same… 1 Corinthians 5 vs 17 says If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.

How to experience this newness of life:
Step 1: Confess your sins to God, and ask Him to forgive you of past sins
Step 2: Repent from your sins, and do not return back to them
Step 3: Believe in your heart that you are now saved.

As you do these, continue in your Christian walk and relationship with God by fellowshipping with a Bible believing church, also prayer and continual study of the word of God will keep you going.

Thank God you’re now saved. God bless you
Thanks.
Crime29 Nigerian Trafficked Ladies Returned Home by Adekdammy(op): 6:39am On Jul 12, 2020
About 29 trafficked Nigetian ladies returned home from Lebanon yesterday which included Peace Busari who was sold by her boss in Lebanon but thanks to an anti human trafficking NGO known as projectferry who created awareness on the matter while Naptip, Nidcom and oyo state government through the office of Oyo state in diaspora in person of Mrs Bola Sarumi Aliu took the matter up and today she is back in her Father's land.

Thanks to Honourable Tolu sadipe, Naptip, Nidcom, lebanese government, Nigerian embassy in Lebanon and other government agencies who facilitated the return ot these ladies.

Thanks to Rescue Africans in slavery owners of project ferry who so far has helped to facilitate the return of 138 Nigerian ladies from Lebanon, oman and ivory coast in less than a year.

Majority of these ladies are semi literate, single parents who can barely survive etc, so most times you don't blame them. All the trafficker needs to tell them is you are going to abroad to work and you will be earning salary in dollars and the work is not difficult

MrBrownJay1:
YES!!! arrest is better than being sold as a slave! the problem is that these foolish women think they should stay in this country while the police will deport them back to Nigeria! so they have 2 choices:
1) shut up and be a slave OR 2) go to the police and be deported!
Deportation would have been sweet and the ladies will gladly accept but middle east Asia countries are not like that, we have helped in bringing over 100 ladies back to Nigeria, some will have to buy themselves out of the contract to regain their freedom.

these women should simply call the police OR walk into any police station (wherever they are) and tell their story...
Not as easy as that, if they try it they might be arrested. The only hope for them now is the Nigerian govt coming to their rescue via diplomacy

MrBrownJay1:
if you check carefully, these women were probably approached in Nigeria to go work as maids in the middle east, signed a contract to work as maid in the middle east, and were flown to the middle east in dubious ways to go work in the middle east....

they can always go back to Nigeria, greener "pastures" isnt by force...
Cos of the contract several of them signed out of ignorance is the reason why coming back is a problem. Infact some of them were told they were going to Dubai only to get to airport where they were given their passport with Lebanon visa.

In all, these ladies need help to come back home.

Sometimes, I hardly look into such news because this is what these ladies bargained for. They've sold out their bodies already that I think where they go should be their business.
They were deceived into going to Lebanon for greener pastures, they end up working as "shagala" slaves now these ladies refused to work and their agents decided to sell them off.

These are Nigerian ladies who are trafficked to Lebanon and are about to be sold by their agent in lebanon. We appeal to the Nigerian government to please help facilitate their return to Nigeria and also prosecute their Nigerian agents who trafficked them.

What other language do you understand?
I said I saw a similar post recently titled "The states with the highest number of prostitutes". Then these same states were equally listed.
Your own now says "The states with the highest number of human trafficking" with the same states listed again.
Upload the proofs of your findings and how you got your figures, you are dodging that!
If your findings is even genuine, how can you draw a conclusion based on 100 persons out of billions? It doesn't add up!
Simple random sampling n=N.

These facts were based on the information the ladies gave when we spoke with them and also when they returned to Nigeria.

Go and read well, he claimed it was a general findings and the top states are the ones he listed. He didn't say he conducted it anywhere.
Let him conduct a research on local human trafficking, drugs related offences and general criminal offences Internationally and bring the statistics here.
That's what they do when they are seeking for Online relevance and Nairaland likes that nobody will pay them for. Check the first comment, that's the aim of the foolish write-up.
Seeking for relevance on nairaland? Maybe you need to check my moniker sir.

This is a research I am involved in using what we call sample survey in statistics n=N to draw my conclusions. If you want more facts, ask me and I will gladly tell you sir.

Those insults are unnecessary.

The Op and his group, from what I can deduce from that post, are based in or conducted their studies within the South West. They discovered a problem and are trying to call attention to it.

Asking him to go round the whole Nigeria is unfair as I doubt he has the resources to fund such a project.

I think your concern should be whether he's saying the truth or not. Rather, you're quarreling with him because he domiciled his observations within the South West.

I don't know why we're brought up in Nigeria to be this aggressive
God bless you for this response.

Useless post from the anus of a BIGOT! Why not upload the list with the identities and proof of identities of the victims as backup?
You should have started locally with human trafficking in Nigeria and the destination of the Hausa girls being used as baby factories. Take a statistic of states involving in incest also. Start with the statistics of girls used as baby factories, list the states and call out their governors. Then you can proceed Internationally to Drug trafficking and criminal offenders.
Looking for cheap attention and likes on Nairaland that nobody will pay you for. If you have nothing in your skull, just keep quiet and read comments! NONSENSE!
Akara seller taking statistics? Mtchew!
Thank you for the insults.

My write up is not based on tribal sentiments or meant for tribal bashing. What I posted is as a result of the facts at my disposal and the aim is to help stop the madness of trafficking in south west and Nigeria.

I am a yoruba guy as well.

Kindly see beyond tribal bashing and insults and see how we can help to stop trafficking by ensuring these agents are arrested and prosecuted.

Thank you sir.

I will like to share a story on hot hubs of trafficking in Nigeria particularly in southwest.

At ProjectFerry we have facilitated the return of over 100 ladies from countries like lebanon, oman, Ivory coast...., some, we contributed money for tickets for them to return home.

Some bought their tickets by themselves while others through the intervention of @UNmigration and lebanese government. In the cause of interacting with these ladies, we observed that the victims are single mothers, young ladies with little or no formal education and ladies who feel the grass is green over there.

We observed that top of the list of traffickers are

1. Oyo state particularly Ibadan
2. Osun state particularly Osogbo
3. Ondo state particularly Akure
4. Lagos State particularly Festac, Alagbado and Ajegunle
5. Ogun state.
6. Ekiti state particularly Ado Ekiti.

We encourage the state governors of these states to do more on publicity as regards the dangers of allowing traffickers in the name of agents send you to a journey of perdition in the name of you are going to make money.

We call on Gov. Seyi makinde, Gov.Gboyega Oyetola, Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu, Gov. Jide sanwoolu Gov. Dapo Abiodun and Gov.Kayode Fayemi to kindly help to sensitize our ladies in your states on the dangers of going on these perilous journey.

Together we can end trafficking and help our ladies to be free.

In those 2 years you have been working n collecting salary. So if COVID-19 n the Political crisis currently rocking Lebanon (there have been months of riots in Lebanon) did not happen would you be making this video.

Please make another video asking Nigerian government to come n rescue you from the dilemma you found yourself now n leave out telling any story or blaming nigerian authorities. A placard saying "I DON FVCK UP. PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK TO NIGERIA" would be nice.

What is wrong with Nigerians? They need serious orientation!

Naira has more value than their currency.

Before it used to be N1 to 10LP now it has dropped to around 4LP due to horrible governance in naija.

If u wanna migrate go to countries where the currency value is much more higher than your country.

Lebanese that will come here to huzzle and even master our language and integrate into the naija community to tell you the height and extent of their huzzling.

They have been experiencing political instability since time immemorial just like Libya is, in fact right now they are experiencing serious protest, because their government plans to further devalue their own currency the more. Nawa
Most of these ladies were tricked into going to Lebanon, their agents lied to them, atines we should not really blame the ladies.

EXCLUSIVE: Eight-month Pregnant Nigerian Woman Trafficked To Lebanon And Locked Up In Office Building Cries Out For Help

Rasheedat Taiwo Saka, an eight-month pregnant Nigerian woman trafficked to Lebanon, has cried out for help after she was abandoned to her fate by Nigerian authorities.

Saka told SaharaReporters on Monday that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, she has had no access to food or medical care and was currently locked up in her traffickers' office alongside other victims.

Narrating her ordeal, Saka said she left Nigeria after her husband died in November 2018 and things became difficult financially.

She said three agents in Nigeria including one Mr John and another person named Victor approached her and presented her the opportunity of working in Lebanon.

"Before I left for Lebanon, they bought our passport and ticket and said two months of our salary will be theirs' when we got there.

"I didn't know I was pregnant when I left Nigeria. When I got to Lebanon, the agency and my employer took me to the hospital, they found out I was pregnant but still forced me to work.

"Despite my condition, I was forced to work for six months from house to house until the house where I worked last. I had started showing very well, the woman returned me to the agency.

"I have not been paid. I reached out to the agent, Mr John, and narrated my ordeal to him saying I wanted to come home because the agency in Lebanon claimed I owed them. He dismissed me, saying my trouble was too much and asked me to contact my family to settle the Lebanese traffickers even when he knew I have no family. He has also been disturbing me, asking me to pay him, claiming I still owed him after collecting my salary from the agency in Lebanon," she said.

Saka, SaharaReporters gathered, is currently locked up in the trafficking agency called Damaj Services in Lebanon.

"I, alongside other women, some from Nigeria and others from Ghana, are currently locked up in an office building.

"The bed we are sleeping on is children's size and I am eight months pregnant. Throughout yesterday I could not sleep because I am in severe pain.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGQio0f8gjI

"I am hungry too. In fact, so hungry that I had to beg one of the staff in the building to buy food for me yesterday to eat, he bought bread and gave me. Then we were given five pieces of potatoes to eat; we are more than six in number," she lamented.

When SaharaReporters contacted Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, over the issue on Monday, her phone rang out without response.

A text message sent to her was also not replied as at the time of filing this report.

Adekola Damilola an activist with Rescue Africans In Slavery (projectferry), a project working to draw attention to the plight of trafficked Nigerians in Lebanon and Oman, said the biggest challenge they encounter is the unwillingness on the part of the Nigerian Government to rescue women and girls in danger abroad.

"There is unwillingness on the part of government. They can do more by sending a flight, like an amnesty and asking all women and girls who are trafficked and want to return to come back home from Lebanon, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

"Immigration officials are also part of the problem. They collect money from these agents who are traffickers and allow them.

“If staff from agencies like NAPTIP are positioned in airports, they're trained to know who is being trafficked and can intervene even before the women leave Nigeria. They should also be positioned in embassies abroad because I have heard of many cases where embassy staff just take names and complaints and send the women back to their traffickers without any action."

Today is the last day in month of May.

I believe in miracles do u?

There was this family who had nothing on them, there was this lovely night, the mother of the house who also serves as the bread winner discovered that there was no water at home and she had no money on her to buy and to make matter worse, it was during the dry season, the mother of the house looked up to God and said a short prayer or better still whispered to God, Lord please let it rain, lo and behold in the mid night, heavy rain fell and she was able to have enough water to use the following day.

Are u also at that cross road, confused and overwhelmed, too tired to pray again and also at the point of giving up?

Hold on, just whisper the matter to God now, and trust Him for miracles on that matter.

I join my faith with yours, the matter will end in testimony in Jesus name, amen.

Have a blessed Sunday.
Maranatha. ..He cometh soon.
