Its d Hausa dat started the fight. All in the name of seeking revenge they started killing all their Yoruba neighbors and started burning Yoruba's houses. The wife of former Manchester United and England footballer Rio Ferdinand has died from cancer. The QPR defender, 36, released a statement saying his "wonderful wife and soul mate" Rebecca Ellison had "passed away peacefully" at a London hospital. Ms Ellison, who married Ferdinand in 2009, had breast cancer. She leaves behind three children, Lorenz, nine, Tate, six, and four-year-old Tia. In a statement, Ferdinand said she died on Friday night. "Rebecca, my wonderful wife, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London," the 36-year-old said on QPR's website. "She was a fantastic loving mother to our three beautiful children. She will be missed as a wife, sister, aunt, daughter and granddaughter. She will live on in our memory, as a guide and inspiration. "Myself, my parents Janice and Julian, along with Rebecca's parents Lesley and Stephen, would like to thank our families, friends and my club colleagues who have rallied around in these desperate days, weeks and months." www.bbc.com/news/world-32563022

The parasites in rejected party are finding their way into the embraced party. Sooner or later they are going to showcase their corruption and greediness skills in the new party, and also polluted it just lyk they did in their party. And make life unbearable for the electorates/citizens particularly the poor, which will make the citizens clamour for another change. And PDP will merge with other parties and promise to give the clamourers the change they need. NOTE- PDP will av to merge, because they cnt do it on their own because they are not strong like before. And the runners will run back to The new party and they will all be accepted. Before u know it we are back to square one. Its all old story. I wish I could see bright future ahead. |

We all knw Ojukwu planted this hatred in all of u. In 2011, all Yoruba leaders supported Jonathan, despite Gen. Obasanjo old age he was following Jonathan to all part of the nation during his campaign to rally up support for him. But it seems ur memory for that is no more available. More also, Tinubu dumped his party Presidential candidate (Ribadu) to support Jonathan wish we all know. If u can all remember vividly, all southwest states supported Jonathan and also voted for him, except Osun state. Our Support for Gen. Buhari has nothing to Do with tribalism. U pple shld be the one to 4gt ur past and move forward. Ojukwu's legacy will surely live on in all of u just exactly the way same Awolowo's legacy will in ours. Our decision to support Buhari which will all did with our PVC has nothing to do with tribalism but a mere political reason. After six years Jonathan failed to live up to our expectations. And u still expect us to support him? Of course No! We want nothing but progress for this nation. And for all of u that are saying southwest supported Buhari because of Osinbajo, I think u r all wrong and at the same tym u past memory is not responding. Because in 2011 Buhari picked one of the respected pastor ( more respected and popular than Osinbajo ) in the zone as his running mate, yet we did not support him. Which is enough for u SS/SE to understand that our decision has nothing to do with tribalism. Some Ndigbo won house rep seat in Lagos in just concluded election, and u all av the mouth to say we are tribalistic in Nature. You hate us, but still we allow u to strife in our state. |

We’ve all heard ‘legendary’ stories of poor, drunk, young people fighting the never ending battle of sleep vs lectures. You know, the typical student stereotypes. Is uni really like this? How on earth are you supposed to balance social life with academic studies? I’ve put together a list of tips i want to share with anyone about to embark on their uni adventure (I'm not jealous at all)! If you can think of any yourself, please leave a comment at the bottom. Let’s help future first years to have the BEST uni experience. 1. CONTROLLING YOUR FINANCES (BUDGETING) You’re going to be skint at certain points in your university life , but being permanently penniless is something you can avoid if you control what you spend. Don’t waste money on expensive food, the supermarket value brands are exactly the same (you’re usually only paying for the packaging), and you’ll save a huge amount. I do also suggest taking a good look at your financial situation before you spend any money, working out what’s got to go out , which will then give you a better idea of what you have to spend on food, clothes and unforgettable nights out. 3. CONTROLING FOOD COMSUMPTION Controlling how much you eat and when you eat not only keeps you from demolishing a week’s shopping in a few days, but also saves you quite a bit of money. A good tip is to make a list of every meal you’re going to eat that week and then only buy the items you’ll need for those. That way you don’t need to worry about what to have for dinner and won’t be stuck with the nightly trip to eatery because once again, you have no food in. Another really useful pointer is not to go shopping when you’re hungry. Do not do it. You’ll buy things you don’t need and so end up spending a lot more than you can or should. *LYING TO YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN Çan’t say I condone this one, but doesn’t everyone tell their parents the occasional white lie? If you’ve reached the age of 18+ and you’re still not managing to effectively lie to your parents/guardians, you’ve been doing something wrong. Let’s put forward a scenario: you’re short of cash and you want to buy food/clothes. You phone up the bank of Mum and Dad in the hopes of getting what you need. Now, simply telling them outright what you want the money for isn’t going to work, but there is this tactic: “My phone/gas & electric/Handout is a lot higher than I thought, I don’t have the money for it" Hey presto, they don’t want you going without, so you’re likely to get a bit of cash from them to tide you over. This won’t always work, but if you play the guilt-trip card when lying to your parents/guardians, you’re more than likely to come out smiling. This could have probably been renamed to “asking for money from your parents” but we wanted to grab your attention. It may seem wrong but that's the only option. *STANDING YOUR GROUND AND KNOWING YOUR STUFF When it comes to things like landlords and other contracts you’ll take out while you’re at uni, the sad fact is a lot of people will see what they can get away with if they think you’re a wishy washy student. Don’t let people walk all over you though, it’s painful, demoralising and not fun in any way! Research your rights and talk confidently. You’re no mug! |
companies are demanding for second class upper, whereas it is only second class lower and third class that full the country. What to do ? |
That's my man I'm with u in spirit Awolowo has said it And it cm to past He said "A Day Will Come When Nigerian Masses From The North And South, Christians, Muslims And Animists Will Emerge As A Force For Progress And Unity And Kick Against Rigging, Corruption And Tyranny" |
