Seems some people especially on social media do not really think through before posting. He condemed the gruesome killing as expected and also highlighted a possible way to avoid a repeat of such. But more importantly all the persons involved should apprehended and be made to face the law.
It was reported that the woman spoke against their act of using her shop front for their prayer hour. So, you tell me how that's disrespectful to their fate?

Even if it's, The best way to avoid repetion of scenario is not by telling us to repect each other faith, but by proper education to Northerners that believe religion is do or die affair.

I think the President media advisers are not doing it right, because it's their responsibility to advice the president against such a statement because of controversy it will generate.

But you believe the 10 commandment which is of Moses and also use the old testament.
Jesus summarize all the 10 commandment of Mose Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself Mark12;31,
meaning there's no way you will love your neighbors and still plan evil against them.

Education / Re: Understanding The Scrapping Of Post Utme by Adekorya: 2:46pm On Jun 03, 2016
It's actually a good development by FG, but the development also is not free of disadvantages as stated by Muslim Right Concern
There were allegations of bribery and corruption being rampant among staffers of JAMB who swapped candidates’ marks for the highest bidders.

There were also alleged cases of impersonation whereby parents who could afford it merely bought high scores for their children who never wrote any examination. Many brilliant candidates allegedly got low marks. Excellence was compromised on the altar of mediocrity. JAMB was ruining the future of Nigerian youths.

It was the poor performance of JAMB candidates who scored amazingly high marks but who could not justify their high scores in tertiary institutions that attracted hue and cry. They performed woefully after gaining entry into institutions and it was natural for the schools to do something about it since it was obvious that JAMB was dumping dullards in the universities and polytechnics all over the country.

It was an alarming situation. Many undergraduates could not write a single correct sentence. The quality of education in Nigeria was deteriorating. University graduates were performing woefully in job interviews and prospective employers had problems getting genuinely qualified graduates. The lion share of the blame for the fall in the quality of education in Nigeria today should go to JAMB.

Post-JAMB examinations emerged as a corollary of this ugly situation. The universities and polytechnics needed to separate the wheat from the chaff.

MURIC is not quite comfortable with government’s explanation that all tertiary institutions were at liberty to conduct screening for candidates seeking admission into any school because ordinary screening without written examinations cannot be effective enough. FG should also note that any type of screening at all must cost the institutions some money.

We call on FG to grant tertiary institutions some level of autonomy particularly in the area of admission requirements. FG should also stop JAMB from exposing the lives of teenage Nigerians to danger through its early morning examinations. It is most irrational for JAMB to slate its papers for 6.30 am in a country where insecurity is still a far cry.

Many JAMB candidates who went out to write the 6.30 am during the last exercise had ugly experiences. Many were forced to travel far distances and sleep overnight in strange and unsafe places. Two allegedly lost their lives as they were attacked by ritualists and armed robbers. One was allegedly raped by hoodlums. Another was kidnapped and the parents were made to cough out a huge amount of money. JAMB must put on a human face

Not to talk of system problem that normally arouse during Jamb exams Where the intelligent one are scoring below the cut off mark because of technical issues.

They will never include the names, because if the list include APC members name it will generate controversy, and if it do not include APC members name it will still generate controversy from oppositions.

So, the best way to evade controversy is not to include the names at all.

This is nothing, but a mere political strategy from the ruling party.

Joel3:
the Oil in the Niger Delta is what caused Nigeria problem. the problem in Nigeria is nothing but greed. there are people who don't just want the states in Niger Delta to grow ahead of them. example are the west and north. this two region are the problem of this country. socking blood.
let go back to the drawing board. the earlier we tell ourselves the truth. and the better for the future of this country. otherwise we will keep delaying the future of this great country. security should be a state or regional problem and not federal government.
if the yoruba in western Nigeria happens to be sitting on the Niger Delta oil well they wouldn't have allowed northerners to owned their well.
the people from Niger Delta are sympathizers of the Niger Delta Avengers. it will be a mission impossible. the Nigeria military can easily be picked without cover, ambushed or sellout by locals. read guerilla warfare from wikipedia.
I see some people telling buhari to crushed the Niger Delta Avengers. some of who don't even know what is called gorilla warfare. for those who are ignorant of it should go and watch Rambo First Blood movie by Sylvester stallone. one man can kill 2000 army. because you don't even know the people you are fighting or looking for. you might even drink with your enemy in the same bar not knowing.
the pictures below is want my dictionary say about federalism. is that what we have in Nigeria? let go back to discuss the 2014 confab.
Can't you argue without not bringing Yoruba into your argument, what happen to 13% oil derivation your government are receiving as oil producing state, abi it's Yoruba that are spending the money?

You people always attack Yoruba as if we are the one reaping all the benefit of oil in your state. And in case you don't know, Yoruba states are among the states that are receiving lowest allocation from the FG (excluding Ondo which also server as oil producing state). Despite this, we are the most peaceful of all regions in Nigeria, North are terrorizing Nigeria with their Boko haram, South.S/South.E are doing their own with militancy and secession issue. Lagos arguably the most developed state in Nigeria is striving on her internal revenue and not oil money, Fourth mainland bridge that will cost billions of naira is on the shoulder of the state with zero assistance from outside the state . And you still have the gut to say West never want your region to develop angry.

And if you think NDA are fighting for majority interest, you're wrong because their are just another Tompolo and Asari Dokubo in making. Their leaders will later become billionaire while you supporting their rich course will not benefit anything from their wealth.

Acidosis:

You're an ignorant liar. Yar'adua (a Northerner) empowered the Militants, GEJ only followed his laid out plan.

You guys seem to know a lot about NOTHING. The so called idiotic Avengers are fighting for a CAUSE. Why is that hard for the FG to address? If oil production & export is reduced to zero, we'll all suffer, it means Buhari has failed woefully.

Aggressive words from you or Buhari won't tame them, these guys are not only frustrated, they're aggressive. They know what they want, we all know what they want, so what then is the problem?

It is true the boys are doing stup!d things, it is true they're f00lish for bombarding their own land, but it is much more f00lish for a so called Sherifat to remain clueless about the situation. Why you blame the Avengers, why don't you blame Buhari for doing nothing?

Mind you, aggressive words against Jonathan won't solve anything; in fact it will worsen the whole situation. I don't think you were in your right senses when you said Jonathan did nothing, it is one of the most senseless statements I've read on Nairaland.

During Jonathan's regime, Militants weren't bombing, fulanis weren't killing, IPODS weren't rioting, these are great achievements, don't you think?

Buhari sent Osinbajo to Ogoni to launch a clean-up program that would cost Nigeria Billions of Naira the Min of Environment doesn't even have, and that became an achievement? LOL

The bolded is the point, whether Buhari fail or not, he will not suffer the consequence of NDA action, the masses will be the one to pay the price.
For example, for a month we are yet say UP NEPA! in my area because there's no light, while Buhari will always have access to light 24 hours a day no matter how worst the light issue become.

mtchew!!! u r comparing 5 years of underdevelopment under GEJ and decades of neglect by FG, have u compared the level of development of lagos, Abuja to Niger Delta development that has taken place for decades under the norther rulers with comon 5 years of GEJ rule?
U better exclude Lagos from your list, because development of Lagos state to where she's today was not on oil money and will never. Lagos figured out a way to generate funds from the high population and business set up in her state, in case you don't known, internal revenue generating by Lagos itself is more than what she receive as allocation from FG.

Nairaland / General / I’ll Soon Reveal How Abacha, Abiola Died – Al-mustapha by Adekorya: 9:04am On May 31, 2016
Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, former Chief Security Officer to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, on Monday said he would soon reveal how his boss and the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, Bashorun M.K.O. Abiola, died.

Disclosing that Abacha’s and Abiola’s deaths were from same source, Al-Mustapha said he would make the comprehensive revelation in his new book, Mustapha’s Memoirs.

He said the book is still in the works.
Al-Mustapha, who addressed journalists in Lagos on Sunday on a number of issues relating to his 15-year travails in detention, said Abiola and Abacha were very good friends before some fifth columnists caused disaffection between them.

He said: “For instance, when Chief M.K.O. Abiola was in prison, many notable Nigerians visited him.
“They will visit him in the morning and when they come back to the Villa in the evening to see Abacha, they would say a different thing entirely.

“Unknown to these notable Nigerians, particularly notable Yoruba personalities, who visited Abiola, their visits were recorded on video.
“I did the video recording without their knowledge
