GLYCOLYSISS:He's using Good-NEWS BIBLE |
A few hours to the end of his reign as Ogun State helsman, embattled Governor Ibikunle Amosun contacted the state’s Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, confessing that he had thousands of arms and millions of ammunition in store at a secret armoury in Government House, and that he had decided to hand them over to the police. Mr Amosun’s anointed candidate for the March 9 governorship election, Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), had been roundly defeated by Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress and the governor was now desperate to clear the Government House of any incriminating material as Mr Abiodun moved in to take charge. Shortly after he was contacted, Commissioner Makama raced to Government House with some of his subordinates. On arrival, truckloads of arms and ammunition were brought out of a nondescript amoury inside the Ogun State Government House. And then begun a short hand-over proceeding during which the governor surrendered at least four million rounds of ammunition, 1,000 units of AK47 assault rifles, 1,000 units of bulletproof vests and an armoured personnel carrier (APC). At the event, Mr Amosun said he procured the arms and ammunition to check the widespread insecurity in his state of 3,751,140 residents, according to the 2006 census. He said he decided to keep them at the Government House Armoury to ensure they were not allocated indiscriminately by security agencies. The speech making over, the arms and ammunition were driven to the police command headquarters in the Elewe-Eran area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. Four weeks after the event, top Nigerian security operatives remained alarmed that a civilian governor would create an armoury and store thousands of arms there. The agents are also wondering why Mr Amosun has not been arrested and prosecuted for violating sections of the Nigeria Firearms Act. The law forbids individuals and civilian institutions from illegally operating armouries or possessing prohibited firearms, including artillery, apparatus for the discharge of any explosive or gas diffusing projectile, rocket weapons, bombs and grenades, machine-guns and machine-pistols, military rifles (namely those of calibres 7.62 mm, 9 mm, .300 inches and .303 inches), revolvers and pistols whether rifled or unrifled (including flint-lock pistols and cap pistols). It remains unclear how Mr Amosun obtained the weapons. Authorities are wondering how he imported the weapons, and how he transported them to Government House and stored them for prolonged periods without being detected. Some security experts say they are suspicious he might have acquired far more weapons than he gave up to the police and that some of them might be in wrong hands already. The former governor, now senator, declined to give his own side of the story. He did not answer or return telephone calls made to him over five days. He also did not respond to text and WhatsApp messages sent to him. When contacted, his media adviser, Rotimi Durojaiye, requested this reporter to email him the questions meant for Mr Amosun. Five days later, Mr Durojaiye is yet to respond with answers. ‘Absolutely troubling, illegal’ Authorities at Nigeria’s key security agencies told PREMIUM TIMES Mr Amosun may have procured the arms and ammunition without securing End-User certificates from the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA). End-User certificates are absolutely required to import controlled products into Nigeria. A guideline by the NSA office stipulates that End-User Certificate requests for arms and ammunition must be made by approved security agencies on behalf of themselves or their qualified vendors. Neither Mr Amosun nor his state is an approved security agency or qualified security equipment vendor. firstbornson:Here's where the problem is. She's seing you as a failure who has no Success, moral, discipline and intelligent right to control or Mentor her. Also Your parents must have said some ridiculing word about you in her presence since you didn't graduate with your mate. Here's my advice, ignore her and stop fighting for respect because you ain't gonna get it. Success and distance are all what you need at this moment to gain that respect/honour not violence, age claiming or being authoritative. |

Paternity leave for Fathers? I swear, we are not serious in this country. |
Our Dear Country President went to International scene and classified the youth of the country he represents as "Lazy and uneducated". Whereas early this year, an analysis by Rice University in the U.S. showed that Nigerian youth are the most educated of all migrants in the country. The institution credited the finding to a culture of relentless drive for education amongst Nigerians. Our dear President was quoted saying “More than 60 per cent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free,” After this statement found his way from London to Nigeria. The President has been under immense attacks from various angle of the country (not to even talk of the one flying in from across the country borders). As a youth, I believe the President is 100% correct with his statement. And here are my reasons; 1.We are lazy, because we were stupid enough to believed that someone that once ruled this country 32 years ago with awful record left behind is the right person to take over from a someone that said "stealing is not a corruption". 2.We are lazy, because we all went out again a former President for increasing Price of petrol but decided to keep when he (Buhari) did the same. 3.We are lazy, because none of our Parents was/is a President, and therefore we will never be able to afford a power bike that worth millions of naira talk less of having accident with it. 4.We are lazy, because whenever whenever we get sick there's no one to transfer us to abroad for better treatment talk less of getting a welcome delegation with minister of health as a leader. 5.We are lazy, because we care less about political participation thereby living our future and future of this country in the hands of corrupt and self enriching individuals that sees the resources of the state as spoil for their family. 6.We are lazy, because the youth/activists that are presently in the government have turned to something else because they are seeking favour from those they should be working against. 7.We are lazy, because we would rather find a way to survive every harsh policy from our leaders instead going out against it. 8.We are lazy, because we were told that each Senator of the federation is collecting #13.5 million as a "running cost" (and our minimum wage is 18k o) and we refused to turn this country upside down. 9.We are lazy, because one family is holding kwlalala state (not the real name) in the Northern part of the country to hostage, while one man from the south west has turned Lagagagu state (not the real name) to his business enterprise, and we're doing nothing about it. 10.We are lazy, because someone youth are giving their support to a movement formed by someone that tried to change the country constitution for his own selfishness . 11.We are lazy, because some of us do not even have voters card. And those that has it are not planning on using it. The list is longer than this, add yours to tap ourselves up from this long slumber. |

But, have u read this in your Bible. To start with, just like the book of Psalms, the author of the book of Hebrew has been subject of debate among scholars because there's no proper documentation of its writer. Though, the original King James Version of the Bible titled the work "The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Hebrews". So, since the we can't confirm real writer of the book it will be advisable to stay clear off calling Apostle Paul the author of the book. So back to your questions. The author is advising the Christians to think beyond the doctrine of the Jesus which serves as Christianity foundation (after foundation we are expected to continue building) . That's since the foundation of Christianity has been laid by Christ through his doctrine, we must continue to build our life towards perfection ( a situation whereby we will sin no more because of our spiritual maturity). Examine this "Let us go on unto perfection, NOT LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS, and of faith toward God". Here, the writer is talking about attaining maturity in Christianity. Although, we all have grace to go back to christ when we sin but that will be tantamount to relaying of foundation that has been laid before. That's, through continuous sinning we are crucifying just christ afresh (Heb 6 vs 4 to 6). The verse simply means, since we have already laid the foundation (that's, since we have repent from old way and chosen to follow christ) , let us leave the foundation (we should not sin anymore, so tht we will need to repent no more) , and continue building the toward window and roofing level (perfectio/attainment of spiritual maturity). |

It's so funny how celebrities/people with little understanding or no understanding of how the things of spiritual works are trying to analyse the spiritual things through the knowledge and logic of this world. Although, she's right about the fact that we all have access to God through Jesus Christ, but what she failed to put into cognisant is that our callings are different and everyone on earth don't have the same communication line with God, and that's exactly the way it's with every religion realm. Paul the Apostle never had direct contact with Jesus Christ but he did better in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus to the world than those that had direct contact with Jesus when he was on earth... Instead of her to be talking about our unrighteousness that's standing between our communication line with God, she's attacking Pastors. What I know is that, the attacking of Christians from outsiders seems not to be working again. And now the devil has now devised a way to make the Christians be their own antagonist (just the like the way it was during the time of Jesus Christ). Note: Ability to be able to read and write is not enough for you to understand the mystery of the Bible... You might have read the bible from Genesis to Revelation and still knw nothing until someone with anointing and calling higher than you open your eyes to its mystery. |
How can a President and chief commander of a country armed forces says he's unaware of the whereabout or activity of his IGP, who reports to no one in this world but him? These are impeachable remarks. U can’t be Unaware! |
What Laureta don't understand is that, Buhari is an employee of the polity. And for this singular reason he's right to privacy is limited. And just like every employer, the people of the state has the right to know his health condition except he cease to be president. |
The fact that the students had to cried and protested for many years before the school could embark on this renovation is nothing but outright negligence and nonchalant attitude of the school administrators to the students plight. |

Everything happen together for a reason. When Frenchman Paul Le Guen declined to handle the Super Eagles in June 2016 we thought there's no hope for Nigeria going to 2018 world cup... But as God use to do it, a certain man call Gernot Rohr (German former footballer) came and presented the world cup ticket to Nigeria with so much ease against all odds. |

Come rain, come shine I prefer Jimi Agbaje to Gbenga Daniel. Gbenga Daniel is selfish and an ambitious man, and will discuss anything to achieve his ambition. His selfishness lead to the PDP lose of Ogun State to ACN (now APC) in 2011. Habeyy:There was a time i thought nairaland is an 100% assemblage of cognizant people and head with a good reasoning, but that percentage use to drop everyday because of people like you. CNN, FOX, CHANNELS and some other terrestrial TV stations usually bring analysts to analyse every government action or in action, most of the analysis/opinions usually do not influence government decisions or count, because opinion is everybody entitlements and it doesn't matter whether it count or not. And i can't remember saying my opinion will be consider by your so called "internal affairs". In case you forgot what this place is, it's Forum, and in case you don't knw what forum is, Google is your friend. yhemster:Young Man, I've been eligible to vote in an election years before your eligibility, So calm down . Prior to 2011 governorship elections, OGD anointed candidate (Gboyega Nasir Isiaka) lost the PDP governorship Primary election to Adetunji Olurin, and as an outgoing governor, OGD tried to obtain the Senatorial ticket for Ogun East senatorial district but lost it to Sefiu Adegbenga Kaka. And because of this OGD formed another PDP faction, but unfortunately for him INEC didn't recognise his faction, and because of this OGD move his faction out of PDP to PPN (Peoples Party of Nigeria). With Amosun coming out as ACN candidate and Adetunji Olurin coming out as PDP candidate and Gboyega Nasir Isiaka dividing PDP votes (OGD candidate) by coming out as PPN Governorship candidate. With this, it was well knw that PDP votes will be divided btw PDP and PPN. And that's was exactly why PDP lost Ogun State to ACN, because at the end of election ACN number of votes was 377,487, PDP 188,698 while PPN number of votes was 137,051. Adding PDP votes with PPN votes, 188,698 + 137, 051= 325,749. By calculation, without OGD dividing PDP, PDP would have gathered 325,749. And I'm very sure they would have had more votes assuming there was no disunity (which was caused by OGD ). If by division PDP can had 325,749, are now telling me they wouldn't have had more than 377,487 (ACN votes) with unity? If in case you are doubting the figures you can click here to confirm. http://africanelections.tripod.com/ng_2011governor.html |

The lady is the one that responsible for all this. Leave your brother out of this. No matter the scolding and amount of beating you give your brother, it will not make him understand the gravity of his action, because he's d victim here (according to his age and going by Africa standard) not you or your girlfriend. |
