Just an alternate perception of the whole issue. Shouldn’t NNPC career portal give any clue about the readiness of APL? I think if letters are ready or already dispatched, candidates profile on the career portal should have been modified from the “Invited for Oral Interview” to something like “Congratulations stuff”. Anyway, it’s just an innocent point of view. |
GospelEAPiano: |
At inception, everyone that successfully applied for a position on NNPC career portal within the periods that the portal was active had a profile account opened for him/her. When I checked then to know what’s up, I always saw “you have successfully applied for a position in NNPC”. When shortlist was made to announce the qualified candidates for CBT, I noticed that unqualified ppl could no longer access their portal page. This same scenario played out for unsuccessful candidates after CBT. Now, interview has been done and I can still access my portal page. I think that alone is enough clue that the recruitment is still on. I believe ppl that we not get APL won’t be able to view the portal henceforth. My own kobo contributions tho. |
Celebsnews:Now we have one of the NNPC recruitment team. Please local men and women should grab a seat to listen. |
Saimeritus:Is it a must you post something? Haba! After all your burnt dodo you call source. Abeg we aren't here to play with white sand. Go back and meet your sawawu. |
Easymoneysniper:Reading this, i fear this easymoneysniper or what did he call himself |
@easymoneysniper, why is it your source alone that has info to share as touching APL disbursement date? If it’s play make you come out com yarn am now o. I just spoke with a senior colleague now and all he could tell me was that NNPC is busy with management restructuring. I hope you are not raising people’s hope for nothing come nextweek. |
sagio09:...which means you don’t really have a strong connect. Since you fail to understand no rltnshp exist btw class of degree, TF alert and APL. So once again, I present you as attention seeker to fellow local people. Don’t bother quoting me again because this is the last fvck I have to give. |
NNPCAPL:Shai.....imagine. So funny. |
sagio09:I don’t know why local men and women give this attention seeker what pleases his/her vegetative soul. If I have a strong connect like a COO (even so close that we engage on WhatsApp), I would have asked him since he is an insider and will have credible info or reasons to why the 7th guy was yet to be paid instead of disturbing already anxious local people who barely no nothing beyond their interview date. I think the guy is just looking for a way to develop a theory. And also doing it wisely that the theory though latently presented in his post will be written by another local person. We have done our best. Even confirmation from the most valid sauce won’t change anything. |
Abkhad:Another one. How’s that possible? |
yemyke001:I think it was meant to be located....laugh . Igo send u pm. Let’s connect outside nairaland. |
hayesconcept:In between the period when you were assigned that tag number and the interview session, can you vividly recall what you use the tag number for? On my own date, people were asked to traced their name on a sheet using their tag number and sign against it while also imputing account details. Then the security officer cut off the tag at exit point. |
yemyke001:Did you travel back to Ilesha in a Siena mini van that carry rams from Abuja? I just want to check something like fellow local people say. |
Happy birthday to @sempumping |
It has been argued by all based on claims/testimonies (confirmed and unconfirmed) from series of sauces/sources that no sort of relationship exist between TF and APL. However, Nlanders still hold on to the more soothing fallacy between ABT and 1%. I personally think this will only weigh us down and deprive many to go about their days with a happy heart. It should also be brought to your attention that TF was received in batches during the last recruitment exercise and also that the pay wasn't uniform. Nlanders should also understand that any public institution (cutting cost or not) will not want to under-utilize their budget as this may cause reduction in amount of budget to be approved in subsequent years. So all people propounding fallacy call theory should at least do a bit research. Everyone won't be employed but if you are destined to work in NNPC, you will. It might just not be now. My sincere advice is live your life as if you didn't apply for NNPC. Success news on its way (NNPC or not). |
joobseekar:Please come again at the bold. It's like this thread has started making someone hallucinating. |
People blaming Buhari administration on the way he has handled this El zalzaky issue should kindly read this extract from Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibrahim_Zakzaky Ibraheem Zakzaky was born on 5 May 1953 (15 Sha’ban 1372 AH), in Zaria, Kaduna State. He attended the Provincial Arabic School, Zaria (1969-1970), the School for Arabic Studies, Kano from 1971-1976, where he obtained the ‘Grade II’ Certificate, and the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria (1976-1979), where he earned a first-class bachelor's degree in Economics. The degree was denied to him by the university authorities due to his Islamic activities.[7] During his university days, he was active in student Islamic unionism, where he became the secretary-general of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at the Main Campus of the university (1977/78), and later became Vice President (International Affairs) of the National Body of the MSSN in 1979.[8] Sheikh Zakzaky giving a lecture at ABU's mosque in the 1990s. The same year, he is said to have become so impressed with the 1979 Iranian Revolution that he wanted one at home. Later, Zakzaky went to Iran, ultimately becoming a Shia cleric. At home, he became the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria and turned it into a vehicle for proselytizing and gaining followers in the 1990s. As a result of his activities, millions have converted to Shia Islam in a country once with hardly any Shia population.[9] |
I wonder what some applicants want to gain by forming commando. Having multiple accounts isn’t bad. But using the opportunity to sell or hype oneself like this mos.goo.n is what that baffles me. That’s if it’s true. I want to believe the people that call the shot in this NNPC recruitment are not here on Nland scouting for profile. Let’s us put up here what won’t send us to shame when APL start flying. Anyway, this forum had presented passive users like myself the privilege of valuable info and am grateful for all that. Peace to everyone. |
“Observation” you people should log-in to your page on NNPC career portal. Check the page at the tail end to see if any word like “completed” is indicated on it. I am not saying anything ooo. Just check. |
Names in alert description work in NNPC |
I got mine too in the morning. And due to all the theories people have raised, I tried contacting a senior friend who works in NNPC presently. He said he received tfare during his time and he’s working there right now. So people should chill and keep their fingers crossed. The best news will drop sooner than expected. |
TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2019. PRESS RELEASE BY APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL: WE DO NOT SEEK TO STOP ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR FROM GOING TO COURT Our attention has been drawn to some news item and posts on social media reporting that we wrote a letter to some international bodies to prevail on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar not to proceed to court to challenge the result of the 2019 Presidential Election result. Our investigation reveals that a letter to that effect was purportedly written by a certain ‘Buhari Campaign Organisation’. This is the second time we will be informing the public that the said ‘Buhari Campaign Organisation’ does not act at the behest of the APC Presidential Campaign Council nor does it represent the Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation in any way. As a result, whatever it has released DOES NOT REPRESENT THE POSITION OF THE APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL OR PRESIDENT MUHAMADU BUHARI. Our official position is that we believe that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has a constitutional right to seek redress in court and we do not seek in any way to curtail that right. In fact, it is the resort to court that is the only democratic way to ventilate his perceived grievance and any attempt to restrict or discourage the exercise of such right would be an invitation to anarchy. In addition, we are very anxious to meet Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in court in order to show the world in a conclusive manner the free and fair nature of the comprehensive defeat of Atiku at the polls. An election is not termed ‘rigged’ only by the mere claim of it by the loser. That is what Atiku and the PDP want to ram down our throats. Unfortunately for them, international, continental and sub-regional observers (who can be seen as neutral by all standards) ALL declared it to be free, fair and credible. No ego-massaging narrative can change that. We therefore totally disassociate ourselves from the letter purportedly written by one of, perhaps, many support groups of President Muhammed Buhari. They may have a right to their opinion, but it does not represent our official position. Thank you. FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, FCIArb (UK) Director of Strategic Communications, APC Presidential Campaign Council (Official Spokesperson) |

Judd Legum, a journalist and former research director of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, says Atiku Abubakar paid as much as $540,000 to get his way into the US. In his article titled “What does a $1.1 million lobbying contract buy in Trump’s Washington?” Legum said the Peoples Democratic Party’s deal with Brian Ballard, a top lobbyist with deep connections to the Trump administration, was instrumental to Atiku’s trip. Atiku’s spokesman, Paul Ibe, did not pick calls or reply messages sent to his phone to comment on the report. In November 2018, TheCable had exclusively reported that Atiku’s party, the PDP, signed a deal with Ballard to enhance US-Nigeria relations, with a focus to “maintaining political and security conditions free of intimidation and interference”. “It shall be the Firm’s duty to consult with the Client and advocate on its behalf those issues the client deems necessary and appropriate before the US Federal government,” contract papers seen by TheCable read. “Issues and objectives may include, but not be limited to, enhancement of US Nigerian relations; strengthening and advancing democratic values and the rule of law in Nigeria, with a special focus in the coming months on maintaining political and security conditions free of intimidation and interference in order to ensure the success and fairness of Nigeria’s national election for president in 2019.” Atiku, the former vice-president of Nigeria, had not visited the US for 12 years and the leading opposition party mocked him for it. Legum said “a former U.S. government official confirmed to Popular Information that Abubakar was formally barred from obtaining a visa pursuant to a presidential proclamation targeting corrupt foreign officials”. He said the corruption allegations against Atiku are detailed in a 2010 bipartisan report by the U.S. Senate, “KEEPING FOREIGN CORRUPTION OUT OF THE UNITED STATES: FOUR CASE HISTORIES.” He said Atiku was also implicated in the investigation of William Jefferson, the former Congressman who is serving a 13-year sentence for corruption, although the PDP candidate has repeatedly denied all allegations of corruption in the report and has never been charged for any criminal offence. PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION 7750 Before 2018, Atiku had spoken openly about his inability to secure a US visa. He said in December 2017: “It is the sole prerogative of America to determine who they want in their country or not. I’m not running away from America. I applied, but wasn’t issued a visa.” Legum added that Atiku’s inability to enter the US may be as a result of the Presidential Proclamation 7750 signed by President George Bush, which bans entry for current and former corrupt foreign officials — especially those whose corruption has a nexus in the country. “The US government does not publicly disclose why individuals are denied visas. But a former government official who has seen the documentation confirmed to Popular Information that Abubakar, until very recently, was banned from obtaining a US visa under Proclamation 7750,” he wrote. He said this led Atiku’s team into hiring Ballard, who chaired the Trump Victory Organization in Florida and “lobbied on behalf of the Trump Organization in the state for more than a decade.” He said the contract required an immediate payment of $270,000 with another $270,000 due in late December 2018. “A month later, Atiku is in the US — and back in Nigeria for a stronger campaign for the presidency,” Legum wrote. “Now Abubakar is back in Nigeria, buoyed by his trip to the United States as his campaign enters its final days. His campaign slogan is Trumpian: ‘Let’s get Nigeria working again.'” |
I have been silent about political discussions for close to a week now. I lost hope in it all for a reason I will write about tomorrow. I had wanted to shun political write-ups till after General elections. I was tempted to come back to it two days ago when Atiku's American visit trended. I struggled to remain silent. But when I read that PMB shunned the Presidential debate I was extremely happy and excited. It proves beyond doubt that PMB has really learnt a good lesson from his previous appearances in presidential debates. It will also increase the wailing factors of the PDP. They need to be paid back in their own coins. Since return of democracy in 1999, the PDP has boycotted SIX presidential debates despite PMB and other aspirants honouring it. I wanted to sit back and laugh at PDP supporters wailing, lamenting bitterly and gnashing their teeth in 'sifia pains' over Buhari's absence because they desperately need his presence to dignify their candidate on the podium of discussion, just the way He needed their candidates in past debates and they ensured they deprived him of it. God bless those who advised Buhari to make the PDP have a taste of the bitterness of their own pill! 1999 Olufalae showed up for debate PDP candidate OBJ, sure of victory, didn't come PDP won 2003 #Buhari showed up for debate PDP candidate OBJ, sure of victory, didn't come PDP won 2007 #Buhari showed up for debate PDP Y'Adua, sure of victory, didn't come PDP won 2011 #Buhari Showed up for debate PDP Jonathan, sure of victory, didn't come PDP won 2015 #Buhari, sure of victory PDP ,Facing defeat, begging for debate Buhari didn't come APC won 2019 #Buhari, sure of victory PDP , facing defeat, begging for debate Buhari didn't come APC will win Buhari has participated in presidential debates for THREE consecutive election seasons. PDP has NEVER participated in any presidential elections before. Who is afraid of debates? Buhari lost elections despite participating in debates THREE times. Debate doesn't determine voting outcome in Nigeria of today and that is why the PDP has NEVER participated in any and still won elections. That's why Buhari won when He stopped participating in it. Buhari has used his participation in three debates to discover Nigerian electorates are not moved by debates, they are moved by Popularity of the candidates among them. Buhari has therefore worked on his popularity and again coasting home to victory next month. Let the PDP also do debates for three political seasons to discover what moves Nigerian electorates. Unfortunately, they have lost it this year. They need the next 16 years to get opportunity for another three debates since they have failed to learn from Buhari's experience. In other words, PMB is 16 years ahead of them in the knowledge of the political reality of Nigeria today. PDP candidate gave a rather ridiculous excuse for not participating. He said it is not 'Candidacy debate', it's 'Presidential debate' and therefore He won't debate without the President being there! Lol... He should be told the implied meaning of Presidential debate is 'Presidential Candidates debate'. What happens in situation where the incumbent is not contesting and all candidates are fresh? Does that change the name from Presidential debate to another thing? Lol... In those three occasions where Buhari participated and the PDP failed to show up, the organisers never changed it to 'Candidacy debates' because they weren't grammatically disoriented! The PDP also failed to realise that Presidential debate is meant for candidates to sell their programmes to their audience and not to the incumbent president lol... This is the first time in Nigeria's Political history that PDP could have participated in a presidential debate, yet they gave such a frivolous excuse that Buhari didn't come. What about those three occasions He came while you still absconded despite being in power? Atiku needs the presidential debate far more than Buhari now. Buhari doesn't need it to win. Atiku needs it more except the PDP is afraid of Oby Ezekwezili that has been looking for a close avenue to strip them of the remnants of their past glory. To Atikulooters who might want to say PMB is running away from debate, first tell us why your party has never honoured any debate in the past and only desperate to debate only PMB now. Look at the scorecard below: Buhari in debate = 3/5 PDP in debate = 0/6 We then ask, Who is afraid of debates? Copied.[s][/s] |
*FESTUS KEYAMO(SAN) DROPS THE MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS!* ________________________________ I asked him when most of you were analyzing that heretic message that “Jonathan is fulfilling prophecy”. I asked a simple question: “Which prophecy is Ex- President Jonathan”? Pastor Bosun went ahead to say “even if the Islamic party (APC) presents a Christian Governor in Lagos, you must not vote for him, you must vote for the other party (PDP). Wait, who was using religion? Ex- President Obasanjo removed Senate Presidents at will, removed any opposing voice, removed Fayose for a small insult, and removed Ladoja with thugs in Ibadan. Who are you calling “DICTATOR”? BUHARI. Ex-President Obasanjo withheld Lagos State fund for 3 years, not minding how Lagosians would eat, Yaradua got there and released the fund. NASS members were abusing President Buhari openly, messing up everything at will; Gov. Fayose has been abusing President Buhari for 4 years now. Not a single State in Nigeria has been denied their constitutional rights because of politics till date, all their funds, Paris fund and bail out, FAAC etc. But who is the DICTATOR? BUHARI. Ex-President Jonathan ensured that NASS opposition members were locked out including Tambuwa the Speaker of the house. They had to climb gate to gain access. Jonathan empowered OPCs in Lagos and they were destroying anything in Ikorodu to Ojota that looked like opposition party. Orga of DSS was used to invade APC secretariat, Journalist arrested and Newspapers siezed, we forgot all these…. Ekiti was militarised, Fayose was given power from Aso rock to order Military guys at will. Fayemi the incumbent at that moment was rendered powerless that he was shouting when Police commissioner was used by PDP and a guy was shot…All these videos and pictures are still here (google is your friend). But who is the dictator? BUHARI! Ex-President Jonathan met FX+ECA at $62 billion+. He DEPLETED it to less than $30 Billion in 5 years Jonathan sold crude oil for 5 years at an average of $100 per barrel of 2.2 million daily (2010-2014). Did he add a DIME to Nigeria purse in 5 years? NO. Buhari the ILLITERATE sold oil at an average of $50 of less than 700,000 barrel at some points because of militancy, yet had moved that FX to $47 Billion in 3 years. Don’t say how much did he borrow if you don’t even have the figure borrowed between 2010-2015 without adding a dime to FX. Who is the ILLITERATE? BUHARI! Jide Omokore, Aluko and oil goddess Alinson made an oil deal of N1 trillion and chose not to remit to Nigeria under GEJ. Did anyone raise eyebrow? INTEL of Ex-Vice President Atiku refused to remit to Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), not until last year that “ordinary” Hadiza the NPA boss challenged INTEL and insisted the funds must be remitted. A Christian Professor had been leading JAMB all through Obasanjo to Jonathan yet for 40 years of JAMB; only N52 Million was remitted to FG. A Muslim Professor who was appointed just in two years of handling JAMB remitted over N15 Billion. FIFTEEN BILLION. So who is following after righteousness? For five years of Okonjo Iweala was paying over 45,000 ghost workers unabated, yet just within 3 years, “ordinary” Kemi Adeosun removed such nonsense… I ask again who is more effective? Ordinary Abuja metro lane took 11 years from OBJ period that he INITIATED it… Ordinary intra-city metro lane o, but President Buhari that finished is within 3 years is the failure abi? “Which project did President Buhari INITIATE and COMPLETE in 3 years yen-yen-yen”. Mention any major project INITIATED AND COMPLETED in 3 years of Ex-President Obasanjo, or Ex-President Yar’Adua or Ex-President Jonathan? So on what parameters are you using to judge 3 years of President Buhari INITIATING AND COMPLETING? Even PDP can’t finish their own secretariat let alone that which belong to NIGERIA. Lagos-Ibadan road since Ex-President Obasanjo era till Ex-President Jonathan could not be finished. In 3 years of President Buhari, the road is receiving serious attention. Ask those who ply that road and those who go for Holy Ghost Congress monthly about the difference in pace of work. Wait, even Otuoke road in Bayelsa had to wait till President Buhari now starts to do the road. Who is the failure? Can it be BUHARI! What about “Almajiri School in the North? WHERE exactly are these Schools SITUATED in the North? OK, show us the picture. Emm, 2nd Niger Bridge? Lol, they completed it on the MAP, yet Fashola is on it PHYSICALLY now. Did Buhari fail on security issue in Benue? YES. Did others before him fail on the same security issue in Benue? YESSS. So where did you get all these noise of “Fulani President” is helping herdsmen? Who was the President during Jos crisis, herdsmen killing people in Zamfara in 2013, Odi massacre, Kaduna crisis? You think death suddenly started because President Buhari was a Fulani man? That he failed in that is one thing, but that YOU are making a narrative of “Fulani President” is giving herdsmen power is funny. January 1, 2018 in Omoku, Rivers State, Christians were coming from Church; cultists from the South South killed their own people. You know why there was no serious noise by CAN and you? You could not link it to President Buhari’s herdsmen or Fulani herdsmen. The same WIKE that did not drop a million to support the families of those bereaved in his constituency (State) went to Benue State to donate N20 Milliion and you hailed him Kidnapping of School children in Lagos; Badoo issue in Lagos; Crisis in Kaduna. Who did you call on? Ambode the Governor of Lagos and El-Rufai of Kaduna. When crisis happened in River State and Benue State, who did you shout about? President Buhari the herdsmen. What about your Bishops, Pastors and Imans that made Aso Rock their abode between 2010-2015? What did they negotiate for the body of Christ or common citizens? Yes, they got their jets; they got waivers and Universities all PERSONAL. Now that the tap to fuel their jets and lifestyles had stopped, all they tell you from the pulpit is “LIES and Prophelying“. Your anointed ones keep saying ANNOYING THINGS, yet you can’t query their lies? Wait, I remember again your problem with President Buhari fighting corruption selectively. So, mention ONE name among those in EFCC case without a case to defend. If your hero Presidents had fought corruption with one leg, by now shebi it is the second leg that President Buhari will be fighting. So what is your problem with the corrupt facing the music? Oh, how about blablablabla. If President Buhari did not catch them, somebody else will. But stop crying in defence of the corrupt being asked to face the music. If your uncle is corrupt, tell him to face it, and stop shouting how about other thieves. I know you lost your job because Ex- President Jonathan lost out and your job with Mama Patience was terminated. But stop using your personal loss as a yardstick for Buhari’s achievement. Under your hero, several young Nigerians were SCAMMED by Boro collecting money from them for Job, in the process killing many young Nigerians. Ex-President Jonathan cannot even sack him. So what do you want the families of those who died when Ex-President Jonathan scammed them of Jobs to do? Stop crying and face life. For your information, all those lies about “hidden agenda” can only fly on you because they know you are biblically illiterate. I even saw somebody hailing Femi-Fani Kayode for being the voice for the Church. Haaaaaa, abomination. Abeg make I stop, come dey collect your abuses in packs. After all your abuse, na President Buhari I go still vote for. Festus Keyamo (SAN) |
