modath: If we are to believe that, how come the few places that Ibos managed to win in Lagos has 90% Ibo residents....
The day an Ibo man win election in Ijebu Ode or Akure is the day this end time assumption of Ibos having significant population in the west will really stand... Now is mere wishing thinking to gas una heads...
P.S... The ones in the core north somehow manage to take their "vacation" when its election time, this one won't be any different. I am talking about FEDERAL elections in which where you live in the state does not matter. Can you at least answer my question of how many Igbos live in SW or Lagos? THANKS. |

resurgent4oodua: Why don't you wait to test it next year in aid of Atiku/Obi?
Pulling out statistics from thin air without empirical evidence is what makes the Igbo tribe the butt of jokes in contemporary political discourse in this country. You guys need a huge reality check, maybe, just maybe next year's elections is what will demonstrate how Nigerians perceive Igbos.
In the meantime, take it easy with the lies and false claims. So how many Igbos live in Lagos? Who will they vote for, plus the native Yoruba PDP? |

OneCorner: FP for dz rubbish It's actually not rubbish. The claim that SW is majorly for Buhari needs to be tested empirically. There is a large Yoruba PDP in SW. What happened in Osun clearly shows that to be the case. Add the native Yoruba PDP to Igbos in SW which are mostly PDP. What does that tell us? |

How many Igbos are in SW? How many are registered to vote? How many will vote for Atiku How many will vote for Buhari?
If most Igbos in SW vote for candidate A, how would it affect candidate B in the SW, and by extension, the entire country?
Keep in mind most of the SW vote is in Lagos where Igbos are up to 40% of the population.
These are important questions for the upcoming presidential election. So front page please

darqly: Lol, which "Automatic presidency"? From BUHARI? And Osinbanjo and co will gleefully watch Bubu handover to the Igbos, abi? Don't delude yourself abeg. Buhari has affirmed himself as pro-north ONLY and particularly anti-Igbo, especially with his heavy handed response to IPOB. Come 2023, if he somehow is still the president, man won't give a hoot about any agreement, he won't even be in charge, cos he'll be near senile. If the sole reason the Igbos want to support a candidate is a shot at the presidency, then Atiku/Obi is the obvious go-to ticket. But I suspect majority of the Igbos and indeed most Nigerians, just want a prosperous and secure country; something Buhari CANNOT guarantee. Your head correct wella. Thank you. |

GoTV:
Instead of the igbos to vote for Buhari and get automatic presidency in 2023, they are rooting for Atiku because of Vice president and a fake promise of restructuring forgetting that Atiku is also a Fulani man that will always favor the Northern Oligarchs. How they trust the same Atiku to restructure a country the North so much benefit from with less contributions is beyond sane minds. Atiku has been chasing power for years and the igbos think he will weaken his presidency with restructuring and render himself powerless at the center with restructuring Right now they are more Nigerian than other patriotic Nigerians all because of VP and restructuring. Just like they did in 2015, when Atiku looses, another miscreant will return from London and start screaming biafra or Death, Nigeria is a zoo and so on. I really pity those people and their kindergarten politics . They miscalculate in every election and blame Yoruba's for their misfortunes You have been copying and pasting this same garbage since yesterday. You Yorubas think you are smart bandying a fake 2023 Igbo presidency promise around. Only a fool will believe that, anyways. Look here little man, Igbos have nothing to lose supporting Atiku. They have everything to gain instead. If PDP wins, the VP position is Osibanjo's to lose; he is the incumbent. 2023 hope is also his to lose because APC will not give Igbos the presidency then. Obi's VP, restructuring and a shot at Aso Rock after Atiku are better hopes for the Igbos than APCs fake hope. Clearly this is their best bet. Hey!! In case you forgot, Atiku is the one contesting againt your god Buhari, not Igbos. Take you fake self and jump into the lagoon. |

You never tire to deceive yourselves that your problem with APC and complaints against this APC government is not both a tribal and partisanship grudge.
Osita Chidoka chose today to score own goals and unravel the very criticisms made against the Buhari regime, as regards infrastructural projects and their speed of completion. Only a foolish Igbo man would believe that PMB will hand power to an Igbo in 2023. Imagine APC can't even give "ordinary" senate president to SE, let alone the real president. Igbos are already highly marginalized by the NW-SW oriented govt of PMB and Osibanjo. It is good that an effort was made by PDP to bring Igbos back into the high echelons of Nigerian politics. If PMB wins again, Igbo have nothing to lose; they are gaining nothing now. Never mind the Fake promise about 2023. Yoruba APC will never allow that to happen. The current PDP gamble involving Obi is the best bet for Igbos. Don't let Yoruba intimidate you, especially on cyberspace. The 2019 VP position is Yoruba's to lose and for Igbo's to gain. |

Earthbound: Peter Obi would be a better candidate for the presidency.
The only reason he's been selected is to pacify, compensate and buy the South Easterners. For all practical purposes, the North has an unfinished term. So Peter Obi, or any southerner for that matter, cannot be president in 2019. |

MayorofLagos: That's untrue! This is not why Atiku picked Obi. Obi is no where close in exposure and brilliance when compared with Charles Soludo. Charles was overlooked because of his verbal sparring with Ngozi Iweala and her mismanagement of the national economy and finance and collaboration with corrupt politicians to loot the treasury. On the other hand, Obi was pro-NOI and was in fact one of those instrumental in filling Jonathan's cabinet overwhelmingly with Ibos. So Obi's selection is an investment for the same set of Ibos who were actors in hijacking Jonathan's government. The treasury is going to be looted again if they get in. Buhahaha!! sassysure: Igbo is not fighting with anybody and won't stoop so low to do that anytime soon. An average igbo man don't have time for nonsense. I agree on the colored part. Most of the fight is coming from the Yoruba side. I see envy written all over them for Atiku and Obi, with many suggesting Atiku should have picked a Yoruba. They want to have everything to themselves. Still, more than a few Igbos are responding to them, and so it is a fight between the two groups. |
