jamaicabakare:That's only 286 - 315 USD per month. PATHETIC!!!! Here you are better off sitting at home and getting that much money from the govt; or flip burgers in McDonalds and get as much as $2000 -$3000 per month. |
tamethem:Ti daru or ti baje. Panadol or Aspirin. What's the difference? Monolingual prick!! Can you write in Igbo or Hausa? |
Awon omo Afonja ti daru London tele tele. Afonja children have long destroyed London |

konoplyanka:Because a minister is an appointment almost akin to employment. He is not voted into office by the People. Mumu |
konoplyanka:You do not need NYSC to be president either. Buhari does not have a school cert., let alone BSc, let alone NYSC. Your mumu don too much na |
Mumu OP You don't need NYSC to be in politics. Politics is different than employment. |
mekuslogan:Cool! That is 176 visa-free or visa-on-arrival countries now at your disposal. Congrats!!!!! So what did you do with your Naija passport that takes you to ZERO countries visa free ? Put it under your suitcase until Biafra comes to pass, then burn it. |
James Lebi-Ayodele, who worked at the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation, was convicted by an FCT High Court in Jabi in July and sentenced to two years in prison without an option of fine for forging the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria certificate.Like Lebi-Ayodele, like Adeosun: AFONJAS are master document forgers. If there be a country called Oduduwa in 2050, it would be the forgery capital of the world ![]() |
FAKE NEWS Not even in the top 10 https://www.statista.com/statistics/255971/top-countries-based-on-rice-consumption-2012-2013/ In Africa yes, by volume. But by per capita is in doubt.

madridsta007:Okay!! So if you have taken a look at the David Olaleye link, and you claim you are published in journals with impact factor of 6.1 (good for you; I have several articles in journals with IF of 6 and above - in all, I have over 60 articles in peer reviewed journals), then do you agree that David Olaleye, given the website's appearance, is in no position to provide this information? It is wrong to define this within the scope of Nigeria as we live in a global world. Moreover, one of the main purposes of having papers published in international journals is to disseminate findings to a global audience so results, where applicable, can be adapted for country or region-specific ends. What can other countries learn from academic research emanating from Nigerian universities? Your guess is as good as mine. FYI, and stated humbly too, I am not just an author of research papers, I am also a reviewer (I review regularly for over 15 international journals), and also an associate editor for a Wiley Journal. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/ |
madridsta007:Who made the list you are referencing. David Olaleye. Now who is David Olaleye? No Nigerian university, from A to Z is worth anything when it comes to contemporary research. They publish JUNK. How do I know? I know because I am in the system outside of Nigeria. |
See celebration of intellectual mediocrity by Nigerians. Can we see one of those publications? In which journals are they published? Did you look at the website from where this FAKE post was sourced? Is David Olaleye now a research metrics developer? Please show me that news and some of the articles in question here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ and here https://scholar.google.com/ and here https://login.webofknowledge.com/error/Error?PathInfo=%2F&Error=IPError Then you can intelligently discuss the quality and quantity of research work coming out of Nigeria. I give it 2% |
SanusiGworo:Lol |
Happy people indeed

Photo of 1000s of Osun women with 5 kg bags of garri. How much is that worth? I thought Osunistans are the richest and happiest people i

If Buhari is still president of Nigeria after 2019 elections, then the country deserves its leaders. |
This is akin to catching a thief, collecting the stolen good from her, and then giving it right back to her because you liked her face. Buhari is not corrupt. Indeed

Clearly, one of the major reasons for high poverty rates in Nigeria is family size. Nigeria should start a mandatory population program of no more than 4 family members (2 parents and 2 kids). That would help a lot to reduce poverty. Igbos (and other Christians in the south), unconsciously or not, have started to reduce their family size, and it is paying off for them. Igbos are among the least affected by poverty in Nigeria, although they are still poor by global standards. |

LadyExcellency:That may be applicable to Nigerians in the villages who have land and a hut to lay their heads and farm their land to provide basic staples to feed with. If you live in cities (Lagos, Aba, PH, Kano city, etc), and you are renting face-me-I-face-you or other types of apartment, you have low income, you do not farm your own land, and you have kids, you are absolutely poor. |
DuBLINGreenb:That sound absolutely ''zombie-ic'' to me. How can one be poor and know that putting the right people in power will lift him from poverty, yet refuses to do so? |
SarkinYarki:Tell me this is not true. Oh my God! This if true, is so pathetic and would mean that nearly 49% of Nigerians are in this category below, even when assumed they have only 1 family member (themselves). Of course the average family size in Nigeria is around 6.
