Reminds me of when I was a child of about 5yrs.
I was outside with 2 of my little friends(a boy and his sister), then all of a sudden it started raining, they both went inside living me alone outside, I was about going inside when suddenly a lightning struck right before me, like a long thin pole, it lasted for some seconds about 20 secs, thereby giving me more time to touch it.
I swear I was about touching it when it suddenly disappeared, I was this close to feeling it when it left the my presence, like someone pulling it off the groung from above.

It might sound like an imaginative tale, but it is the truth.

Though, I don't think this guy's story is tottaly true , but the coincidence still beat my imagination.

We can thank one Larry Tesler, the computer scientist who's credited in history as the inventor of cut/copy and paste, for the time and finger energy saved with this intangible creation. Tesler was one of the computer geeks at Xerox PARC - the innovative research and development center in Palo Alto, California - back in the 1970s, when home computers were just an experimental idea that many believed wouldn't go anywhere. (In fact, Xerox PARC invented several ideas that many believe Steve Jobs and the early team at Apple "stole" after a visit in 1979.
Tesler was working on the programming of the Smalltalk-76 system between 1973-76, and it was on that project that he implemented a method of capturing text into a computer's internal memory, i.e. "cut"/"copy," and then inserting it somewhere else, i.e. "pasting." The verbs were taken from the old idea of manuscript editing, when one had to physically cut words on a page with scissors and paste them elsewhere.

Tesler eventually moved on from Xerox PARC, and has had quite the fruitful life in the technology community over the decades - from working as a computer scientist at Apple, to being vice presidents at Amazon.com and Yahoo!, to working in biotechnology. However, no matter what he's done over the past thirty years, or what he will continue to do in the future - he's currently an independent contractor - I'll always thank him for the cut/copy and paste. Is pathetic how China has fallen (temporary) due to this corona virus that seems to be a plot (biowar) against her thriving economy, ( Wuhan @ the very heart of China). A lot of investors have taken to their heels. I pray they come out strong.

BTW this has nothing to do with the animals they eat in China, as we also have a lot of Chinese restaurants in Nigeria.

This seems to be the work of some Crazy scientist genius who has gone mad with experimentation.

May God save the Nigerians over there as they are part of us, only trying to escape the harsh condition in Nigeria.

I once had a similar situation as yours when I went to get my voters card. This black beautiful girl was the center of attraction when she decided to rest on my back while standing. Guys were just screaming to me "omo you dey enjoy o" when in fact I wasn't feeling anything. I didn't let her rest on my back (while standing) because I was weak, or because she was beautiful(I mean real natural black beauty), but because I would have done same if she was my sister (who was tired of standing), and she felt so free with me. Las las I didn't care to collect her number as some guys would have done.

You shouldn't be rude to people because their beauty intimidate you or sth else. That young lady might just be looking for a way to be a friend.

James Arthur Gosling – Java

James Arthur Gosling was born on May 19, 1955. He is a Canadian computer scientist who is best known as the founder and lead designer behind the Java programming language. C++ – Bjarne Stroustrup

Bjarne Stroustrup was born on December 30, 1950. He is a Danish computer scientist who created and developed the widely used C++ programming language. Stroustrup is a visiting professor at Columbia University and a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley New York.

C++ first appeared in 1985. It is a general-
purpose programming language that has imperative, object-oriented and generic programming features. It also provides facilities for low-level memory.


Dennis Richie – C

If you saw C on a report card, you’d be pretty bummed. Maybe a bit confused, too (is it actually a B-?). However, C is not the bizarrely bad grade it seems to be. It’s often the first programming language taught in college (well, it was for me 10 years ago). I thought it was a nice “in-between” language in that it was object oriented without having to be fanatical about it. It was also low level enough to be close to hardware, but no so low level that you had to do everything manually. Because there are so many C compilers, you can write stuff in C and have it run pretty much anywhere. C is a general-purpose and imperative computer programming language designed by Dennis Ritchie. Dennis MacAlistair Ritchie was born on September 9, 1941, and died on October 12, 2011, at the age of 70 years old. He was the head of Lucent Technologies System Software Research Department when he retired in 2007 and the “R” in K&R C.


Guido van Rossum – Python

Python, designed by Guido van Rossum of CWI, is a general-purpose, high-level programming language, whose design philosophy emphasizes code readability. Its syntax is said to be clear and expressive.
In the United States, Python has mostly replaced Java at the academic level. Students have started learning to program using Python instead of C or Java, unlike the previous generation.


Python is used extensively in web application development, software development, and information security.

Brendan Eich – JavaScript

JavaScript first appeared on December 4, 1995. It is a high-level, interpreted programming language developed by Brendan Eich. JavaScript is also characterized as dynamic, weakly typed, prototype-based and multi-paradigm.

Brendan Eich was born on July 4, 1961. He is the American technologist who developed JS. He also co-founded the Mozilla project, Mozilla Foundation, and Mozilla Corporation. He was then served as the Mozilla Corporation’s chief technical officer and briefly its chief executive officer.


Rasmus Lerdorf – PHP

No matter how much you hate PHP, which stands for Personal Home Page, you just can’t ignore the fact that half of the internet is running on this wonderful internet language. PHP was originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995.

The main implementation of PHP is now produced by The PHP Group and serves as the formal reference to the PHP language.

PHP was a competitor to Microsoft’s Active Server Pages (ASP) server-side script engine and similar languages, e.g. Java Server Pages (JSP), but gradually received acceptance and is now installed on more than 20 million Web sites and one million Web servers.

It is also open source and used by Internet giants such as Facebook, Wikipedia, WordPress, and Joomla. PHP is used extensively to build dynamic web pages and server-side development.


Larry Wall – Perl

Perl is a high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Designed and developed by Larry Wall in the mid-1980s, Perl rose to fame due to its excellent text processing capability.

It is still the main language used to develop reports and scripts on UNIX systems. Perl is known for parsing and processing large text files and is used in CGI, database applications, network programming, and graphics programming.

Perl is also used extensively by companies like IMDB, Amazon, and Priceline.


Yukihiro Matsumoto – Rugby

Ruby was developed by Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto, a computer scientist and software programmer. It is an object-oriented, general-purpose programming language that was developed in the mid-1990s in Japan. Matz was born on the 14th day of April 1965. Matsumoto is the Chief Architect of Ruby at Heroku as of 2011. It is an online cloud platform-as-a-service in San Francisco.


Niklaus Wirth – Pascal

Pascal is an influential imperative and procedural programming language designed from 1968–1969 and published in 1970 by Niklaus Wirth as a small and efficient language intended to encourage good programming practices using structured programming and data structuring.


John McCarthy – Lisp

Lisp, which stands for List Processor, was developed by John McCarthy and is the second-oldest high-level programming language.

I have never tried Lisp, but it’s said to be the father of functional programming languages like Haskell, Erlang or Scala. It is mostly used for AL development and air defense systems.

We do see strange things in life at one point, but no one tend to believe us.
I once saw 3 creatures 6ft tall, moving around a tree in the middle of the night, I was a child then. Something prompt me to wake up as I was staying in the same room with my greatgrandmom (may her soul rest in peace). I woke up peeped through the window and I saw them with the head of a beast that is not know to man, and a tail, standing erect and walking around a big tree. I could see this because there was light pointing at the tree. more like a (can't describe) but very scary. I saw this from the first floor. No body believes this till today except my siblings.
It is one of those things that makes you kind of see life in a different way.
I think that tree has some spiritual significance to it.
This happened in Edo state by the way.
Funny enough I'm one of very few people that saw a lot of abnormal things as a child.
This is just one of them. But like I said it sound strange and impossible.
So there's likely the op saw sth like that.

A friend of mine once saw the popular bush baby that carries mat as a child, he said he looked at it and he saw a very old but small looking man with a mat, that he was the only one to see it and no one else even though it was in a public place. I like women that her straight up with what they want, but you also have to be honest with others as well.
