For those intending to travel in December or January for the Spring session, are you guys following up about the new Covid 19 variant?

Hopefully it doesn’t get bad to the point that the US will ban flight from Nigeria as they have done to South Africa

you can write them naming you school. You might be lucky that they start from you.

It’s an advantage if you see your school tho but you can still write them even if your school is not there.

I hope this helps
Thanks so much I did already and now expecting their response.

Thanks, chief. This is another amazing answer!

As regarding the Loan, The company is Mpower. They grant loans to international students without any collateral requirement. They are based in the US too.

you should check them out at mpowerfinancing.com

Thanks so much but they don’t offer loans for guys going to University of Dallas.

Hi guys I need a little help, please.

I am on the verge of applying for my F1. I have acquired a loan worth $50k which I already made plans to pay the company back when I get to the US.

I am hoping that the VO will not ask me what are my plans for payback.

SHould in case he does, do you have any idea on how to put it so as not to reveal that I would be staying back eventually.

Also, how is it best to answer "do you have siblings in the US" when you have them? should you say yes or deny it?
I think you can do the calculations for him as to how much you will be earning when you return to Nigeria upon the completion of your program.

For example, when I finish my program I should be earning Bleep amount because the average rate for graduates of this program is xxxx amount so I will be able to pay back comfortably. Also, the loan is for Bleep number of years so it’s well spread out in such a way that there won’t be any major pressure on me.

About the siblings, you can tell the VO that you have someone there but the distance is very far from your school hence you are not likely to even meet. The reason I stated that is because having a sibling or family members in the US can send the signal that you might just want to stay back which might be a red flag to the VO. But saying that they are far away might just mitigate that effect (do your findings on what state you can mention that they are).

Lastly, can you please assist with how you were able to get the loan I.e steps and the company that offered it??

But won’t this be a different code from the one on my visa application, or can I send a mail for them to change it?
You can go to your application page to change it provided you still have more than 72hrs

Agbataekwe:
Hello, please my international passport expires October 2022 and i got admission for January 20222, meaning visa range exceeds my passport expiration
Please will it affect me when i go to apply for visa?? If it won't affect me, can i renew my passport in the uk when it's about to expire?

If it will affect my visa application, what should i do next??

I don’t think it matters, I had a similar case where my passport was to expire in April 2022 and my interview was in August against January resumption. I got the visa and I’ve renewed my passport to combine the two when traveling. If you think you still have time to do another one before your interview or submission of your documents then do. But I don’t think it matters

And again, the visa application fee, will i also be charged with cbn rate or black market rate?

Guys please, how many days before your interview is advisable to submit your DS-160?

Hey there. That’s correct that there’s the 120 days rule which states that F-1 visas can’t be issued no more than 120 days before the start of program. However I came across some info which says it’s alright to go due to covid-19 issues. I’m not totally sure if you can bank on that. I’d advise you to send an email using the feedback on cgi portal to check if it’s OK to still attend in August or send an email to the NIV section of Lagos/Abuja embassy? The other option would be to reschedule.
Maybe some one else on here that has gone through this can give a better insight.

Guys please I’m confused and in need of help. When I applied for an emergency appointment, the earliest possible date I got was for 26th of August, however, my school resumes on the 23rd so I already booked my flight for Abuja for next week. However, my school wrote to me today that if I can’t make it by the resumption date, I might have to defer my admission to January or take this semester courses online.

After much deliberation, I decided to defer till January since she told me that the visa won’t be granted coz I need to take a minimum of one course on site and it’s too late for that and she is willing to issue me a new I-20 for January and deferment letter.

Now my issue is this, will I be able to interview for January in August? given this rule of you can only interview within 120days to your next resumption date.
Guys pls help a brother in need

Guys please I need your help/advice on my current situation.

I applied for an Emergency Visa Interview for Abuja and the earliest possible date I got was for 26th of August 2021, meanwhile my school is resuming (lectures) on the 23rd of August. I contacted the school and I was told I should still go for my Visa appointment provided I can be in the US in the first week of September and moreover the courses I will be taking this semester will be online. However, they are not willing to issue to me a clearance for late resumption.

My question is that, has anyone ever had a similar issue and how did it go at the embassy? Also, how were you able to defend your situation?

Please note that the delay period is just three days apart.

Thanks in anticipation of your honest replies.

[quote author=Lightway post=84568000]Look at this...

When I was in the Univeristy i set a high standard for myself.. i didnt look at broke girls twice and I could only date girls with 100k in their account.... I look out for the rich people and associate them.

Here is your problem

You didnt really specify the specs you want...

Define an ambitious man.

Should he have a million dollars in his account or 1 million?

Should he have a car or cars?

Should he be black or white?

Will you accept a man with a tattos?

You only gave these descriptions

He should be well spoken, either with a career or into trade, accomplished, way older by at least 10 yrs

There are many men with these features, so you need to be very specific.

When you narrow down the characteristics that interest you, ask yourself one question...

Where can you find this kind of man? On the street? By the road? In the highbrows of lekki, like you said Or on social media?

If you cant find him, then ask yourself...

Does this man really exist?

Sometimes we watch too many movies, listen to too many social media talks, consume too many relationship books and shows and all that garbage push us to fantasize and create a partner (man) that doesn't exist...

Just look at your man, you want him to have all the great features just the same way a lot of people want all the bad in the world to be gone..

In reality, the world is so bad that some people dont want to live in it anymore and they commit suicide.

But there are great people out there doing good, with a good heart and a giving spirit. You have seen them and you probably envy them. Unknown to you, many of these people already know the truth, they have studied the bad in this world and learned how to live with it... So while they do good, no one can cheat them or outwit them because they know whats up.

So while your man must has good, impressive features he must have bad features too. And while you're fantasizing about the perfect man for you, remember that no one is perfect and there is no perfect man. In fact, you might find out that no man has all the qualities you want. Instead, they have most, a few or none of these attributes. The right thing to do would be to give those with most of these features you want a chance and learn from there.

Try to learn lessons while you're younger, because they'll sharpen your decision making skills when you get older.

I learned this while chasing after the right partner while I was making 200k per month and hunting only ambitious ladies. So, the feeling is mutual
