why Yorubas need to respect their Elders this 2018

why do yorubas claim to respect their elders and bow to them but at the end they ignore them, and allow them to go and beg on the streets,

A man with so many children begging on the streets, what happened to his children, does it mean one person never made it good in life?

where is the respect, when you subject your elders to such disgrace and abomination.

why do you not provide something for him to do.

Why are there so many four-limbs beggars in Yoruba land. I call them four-limbs because they have no body defect etc.

it's high time the Ooni and Alaafin look into this matter.

I say this as an outsider because I believe the yorubas are not seeing, I see beggars chasing after you when you are about to get money from an ATM.

I see them harassing you when you are about to board a taxi, coming to the window with their rotten teeth and smelling mouth.

I see them sending their little kids to come and dirty your clothes when you're about to go to work, meanwhile they have grown up kids sophisticating at home.

This should stop this 2018.

to stop this trend the yorubas need to do three things.

1. send money to your parents.
2. send money to your parents.
3. send money to your parents.

respect your elders with actions but not with your gesture.

even in point of death you still defend your killer Fulani. I can never pity these middle beltan cos come rain come shine they can never change.my sympathy goes for the Egyptian, Yemenis and never for these Benue, plateau and taraba

hmmm...
SalamRushdie has no other work than to insult PMB, is either dis SalamRushdie is related to FFK, Dansuki, Deziani or their likes. It looks like PMB has spoiled where he gets his free money (loot) from, so he is pained. Even Obi Ekwesile a strong critic of PMB came out to Praise PMB's govt for d improvement in Power supply, others are praising PMB for d revolution in agricultural sector especially in rice production but SalamRushdie is still wailing dat PMB to him is a ''TOTAL'' failure. My relatives dat just came back from SE are happy with PMB for working on roads down der, roads dat have been abandoned for 16yrs by a party dey have been friendly to but SalamRushdie still call PMB a total failure.
Salamrushdie jumps from thread to thread attacking PMB personality and i am beginning to suspect dis guy. Looters, their children and friends are on d offensive mode, dey want PMB out, dey are here on NL and we all shud becareful how we support these guys.
They have made it their duty to insult PMB, call him all sorts of names forgetting dat their demonic/looting party wrecked dis country.
For 16yrs dey cud not fix our refineries, left countless of roads/infrastructures useless while dey looted d money budgeted for such project.
Bag of rice was #4000 as at 1999, after 16yrs of their of their rule it became #10000, dey killed local production of rice despite d fact dat we have fertile lands to plant our local rice. Countries like Thailand, China, Malaysia etc were planting rice to be exported to Nigeria, creating employment for their citizens while ours is to consume. Cement used to be #600 per bag in 1999 but now #2500.
Okonjo Iweala in late 2014 told us to prepare for these challenging period because she knew dat we were heading for recession, she knew dat dey ve failed us and gave out dat warning but many didn't take her word serious. Was PMB d president den, NO!! Did she know dat GEJ will loss, NO!!
We all saw how dey left many states workers lamenting, owing 8 to 10months salaries, contractors had to abandon ongoing project cos dat demonic party was just busy looting witout paying dem, these contractors had to lay off may staffs but Fashola has mobilized dem back to site despite d drop in oil price.
Did dey save?? Naaaah, dey will blame Amaechi for their inability to save while dey squandered d ones saved by OBJ. OBJ had d likes of Ibori, Alameisiya, Peter Odili, Shikanfi etc but dey cudn't stop his govt from saving.
My only annoyance with PMB is dis senseless killing been carried out by his tribesmen, it has to stop, aside dat PMB has done so well, he has been able to manage d huge mess left behind by dat party of looters. If given another 4yrs and with d gradual improvement of d price of oil, so much will be achieved under PMB.
U guys need to read about Venezuela with huge oil deposite like us, dey went into recession like us, dey are still in recession while we are out, her citizens are crossing to the neighbouring country (Columbia) just to buy milk, soap, etc. If dat demonic party had continued we wud have been like Venezuela cos der is no difference between their current leader and d one from Otuoeke. To dem stealing is not corruption
salamrushdie this one fell under the third category...this deceitful man bag of rice was not sold for 10,000 but 7k in 16 years that 3000 naira difference but in 3 years rice is being sold for 23000 that is 16,000 naira diff yet you come Here to deceive your fellow Muslims .Ask those your cousins if they were sleeping on their way to East cos definitely there did

Politics / Re: Ekiti Deputy Governor In Trouble, Fingered In Libya Slavery Saga by adeolakemi: 9:31pm On Jan 04, 2018
meganews:
Parents of three girls from Ekiti State who were allegedly given three slots to travel to Dubai but ended in a slave camp in Libya are demanding the safe return of their children.

They made the call on Thursday at the State Police Command where a suspect who facilitated their trip, Dada Ogundare, was paraded.

Ogundare was paraded alongside a prophetess, Omoseeke Komolafe, who collected money from their parents and gave same to the trafficking suspect.

The suspects claimed that they only assisted the young ladies, one of whom was pregnant, to seek employment outside the country not knowing that they would end up as slaves.

The victims left Nigeria on November 25 by road rather than by air as they were promised that they were going to Dubai only to be taken to Libya where they were sold as slaves.

The parents explained that they later made attempt to bring their children back home but the traffickers in Libya demanded N1.2 million from them.

One of the parents, Mrs. Margaret Olorunfemi, revealed that she and Prophetess Komolafe are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the same ward with deputy governor in Ikere-Ekiti.

Mrs. Olorunfemi disclosed that Prophetess Komolafe told her daughter that the deputy governor has been given four slots to be given to children of party members in his ward to travel to Dubai adding that they were told to make N150,000 available to facilitate the trip.

The woman said she was worried when she did not hear from her daughter. According to her, she was able to speak with her daughter on December 10 who told her that she was in a slave camp in Libya.

Mrs Olorunfemi said: “My child called that the prophetess had sold her into slavery that we should go and meet the deputy governor that we should get N1.2 million before they can be freed from slavery.”

Another Ikere woman whose daughter was trapped in Libyan slave camp, Mrs. Feyisayo Adedayo, revealed that her daughter is pregnant.

She said: “My daughter, Ayomiotan, spoke with me on phone that they went through the desert and not by flight as they were promised.

“I don’t have N1.2 million to send to them to free my daughter. (Ekiti State) Government should return my daughter to me with her pregnancy.

“She (daughter) is my only girl and my last born; I reported the case at the police station in Ikere. I want my daughter back because I don’t want her to die in slave camp.”

Another parent of Libya slavery from Ikere, Mrs. Bukola Bamise said she was shocked to learn that her daughter had been sold as a slave.

She said: “It was the deputy governor that said he wanted to use the four slots given to his ward to benefit our children but I was shocked to learn that they were camped somewhere and they had been sold as
slaves.”

The suspected trafficker, Ogundare, told reporters that she contacted the prophetess to help her find girls interested in jobs in Libya. He claimed he didn’t collect money from the victims.

Ogundare explained that his wife and younger sister are in Libya added that she told the prophetess to inform the girls’ parents of their destination.

He said: I didn’t collect One Naira from anybody, I have so far taken four persons to Libya while madam (prophetess) had taken nine persons to Libya.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Mr Julius Okoro, warned parents against allowing their children embark on questionable trips.

He said: “The girls were trafficked to Libya on the pretext that they were taking them to Dubai. Information reached their parents that they are suffering and they had been sold out in the slave camp in Libya.

“One of the girls trafficked to Libya is pregnant but was rejected by those buying them because of her pregnancy. We understand that they are suffering seriously in Libya.

“Our advice to parents is that they should be careful of those they entrust their children to. Let them be careful and be sure of the persons they are handing over their children to.”
