1) He made you use a blunt knife for the first test with the charm and deftly switched it for a sharp knife for the second test.
2) He used a knife that is blunt on one side and sharp on the other side and led you to switch the sides after the first test.
3) The knife you used was blunt but he used a trick to make something like blood appear when you tried to cut him the second time.

Here’s how you can expose him. Go and buy your own sharp knife. Ask him to wear the charm and repeat the test. He won’t do it.
