PPR landed this morning.
Application was submitted mid November after coming here to request a means of payment for my application because the naira Ms card was declined, unlike when used some years back and someone suggested a fintech to me. I sincerely appreciate.

1-Invitation letter of the programme I will be attending

2- bank statement
3-travel history to Switzerland, Germany( expired German multiple schengen visas), UK, France,Turkey,Holland,Canada, Hungary,UAE and United States( both expired and valid USA visas with the current one having 5 years validity)
4-Introduction letter from my company
5-A trip sponsorship letter from my company,
6-Company CAC
7-Manufactuters' Authorisation Letters issued by our manufacturers in Europe and USA.
8- Copies of certificates of attendance received from past trainings and conferences attended.
9-IMM Application forms.

Hence, it’s advisable to prove your Source of Funds using a cover letter especially when you have lump sum.

You can use the asylum as something to support your claim. But not accommodation, health facilities, and job availability, because visitors visa holders does not benefit from any of that. Regardless if you have a strong profile getting a visit visa is still very easy.

For example:

Older people are less likely to seek asylum. We have seen parents visit visa getting approved in weeks.

Married people with kids and responsibilities are less likely to seek asylum.

People with good and real verifiable employment are less likely to seek asylum.

People with Business and properties worth millions are less likely to seek asylum.

* When you are desperate to leave your country ircc will know.

You will start submitting unnecessary documents, start drawing your family tree. Lol. Merging suspicious bank statements with unexplainable lump sum.

Imagine you claim you earn 400k per month and you submitted bank statements of 6 month with no monthly deposit of 400k from a company. These ppl are not fool.

* How many rich ppl do you see that pray for visa miracle? ALL YOU NEED ARE GOOD DOCUMENTS AND PROFILE. not Miracle or luck.

It doesn’t have to be colored copies, some of us used “Black and white” copies. The guys outside the VFS would probably tell you it must be colored because they want to do business. They accept any.

I knew someone whose application was refused because of financial cost, their relative in Canada had sponsored them. I thought me acting as her sponsor would jeopardize the application, hence i suggested our father.

The husband should prove his union to the MA beyond doubt, i.e in line with ukvi policy and the expected documents......he will get the visa...(don't near Administrative review if u don't want oro max hypertension but if u don't have money for another application ..u can go for AR and argue ur case if u feel the ECO was not fair or should have given more room for provision of more evidence)

Hello Gurus,

Kindly help, a friend of mine(the Main Applicant) applied for a skilled worker visa with her Children and her new Husband(who is not the father of the kids but now married to my Friend).

The visa of the main applicant has been issued, while that of the Children is still pending and the Partner’s visa has been refused, however, he has been given 28days to reapply or seek for AR. My Questions please:

1.) are they likely to grant the Children visas without their Mother’s Partner(step-father), knowing that their Mother who is the Main Applicant has been granted Visa?

2.) What is the probability that the Partner would be granted Visa after submitting more supporting documents and evidences that they are truly married)?

Our Visas were approved!!!
Received BVL and PPR for me and spouse as well as PPR for child (he's a minor, he didn't do Biometrics).

My spouse and I used new passports with 10yrs validity but the child has 3years validity!

Received all the emails at the same time! 8.20am 3rd October 2023!!!

I've already scheduled submission appointments online for 5th October 2023!!

Gckey portal has been updated accordingly as captured below, with eligibility showing"reviewing", however, tracker remains as is with eligibility not started.

The wait was really daunting but I thank God it ended in praise!!

I pray the same for all who are waiting! The good news will come soonest in Jesus name, amen

It worked for me in the past. I filled out my wife's visa application, but I didn't declare her past visa refusal for the US.

Later, I wrote them a letter of apology and explained to them that I forgot to declare this refusal.

About a month later, they acknowledged receiving the webform and the uploaded document.

Her visa was approved.

Yes, he is not the father of the Kids, they are now his step children. As the Main applicant, the Man needs to prove the relationship with his step children as read few days ago on this thread. How is the best way to go about the Adoption letter? Or is there any other way out?

Its a simple matter...
The wife that is his dependent and also the mother of the kids is the one that needs to show relationship with her name on kids' birth certificates and also prove she has sole custody/solely responsible for her kids for the kids to fly with her and her current husband....

... she can prove it by an official divorce letter from her ex husband which would have also officially addressed the custody of the kids produced in the union...

....If there was no marriage with the father of her kids..she must still show a court document that she is soley responsible for her kids for their visa to be approved

If you use the new ircc portal, it's about 6 weeks (30 business days). If you use the gckey it's about more than 700days average processing time, the last time I checked. It may not be upto that.

PS: it depends entirely on IRCC. The processing time on their site are average timelines.
