tensazangetsu20: Bro why replying him. They will always find excuses. if it's not population excuse it's the fact that they gained independence long time ago. Singapore is the same age with Nigeria. China started developing in the 80s. Vietnam the same. Excuses excuses for their failures. Dude is already calling you a monkey. First to abuse. If they abuse am now E go wan die. First to abuse? Did you read the post you quoted? You are no different from him. Singapore didn't gain independence from the British. I hope you knew that. |

Dede1: Based on your calculation that gave rise to above summation, it is not hard to conclude you are one of the banes that stood in the way of progress for Nigeria. You cannot even apply derivative arithmetic to surmise the age of most Nigerians born before British granted independence to the country. At least, anybody with age of 55 years was born 5 years after British granted independence. How could Nigeria even begin to lay foundation of progress when the crop of the cream such as you cannot make use of simple extrapolation. Granted not everybody has the sense of numbers as evidential with your above post, however the basic knowledge of simple arithmetic is required in building foundation for national growth. How can you expect him to understand this? You are dealing with functional illiterates who see everything in black and white. |

Karleb: Did you see where I compared Nigeria to USA?
Old cargo! Young monkey. You can't compare Nigeria to USA. USA got its freedom in 1779, they speak one language, they have solid foundation founded on good xtian faith and Protestant beliefs. Nigeria lacks those. |

Karleb: If you followed the discussion from the first page. You'll know in this context, it doesn't at all!
I'm not blaming our parents per se, the blame is on every Nigerian elders who had it easy with the oil boom and good economy but refused to build the nation though they had the (political) power or backing to do so, our parents inclusive.
There was a time Dubai no reach Lagos in terms of infrastructure, no be the same oil we dey sell? How can you compare Nigeria and Dubai? Nigeria get many tribes which always hate each other, Dubai is small maybe 7 million people with a long history of being together. You see why ibedun takes you indomie kids to the cleaners? |

Iceyjayz: Don't mind the girl, arguing with Naija girls most times is not worth it. It's a pity @ bolded. I think when reasonable youths of our generation start having daughters, we have a big job on our hands to expose them to things that matter early and also the right kind of education. Nigerian girls are somehow these days. My girlfriends switch on the TV and the first thing they start looking for are trashy things like bbn, drama, nollywood, Mexican soap operas and such. I am constantly looking for that woman who can stimulate my mind and the intellect but it's like searching for a needle on the beach. |

saaphiere: In BBCAN, it's the HGs that vote unlike BBN where the viewers vote. If viewers are allowed to vote in BBCAN, their votes would go up too considering the fact that a lot of people especially in the US watch BBCAN. It's still stvpid the kind of attention bbn get here. Canada na rich country where the youths can afford to relax and still have society doing a lot for them. Nigeria's case different. It's good to relax by watching things like bbn but the attention it gets here shows that with our kind of youths, Nigeria going nowhere unless we the youths change. We watch too much nonsense and are not knowledgeable on things that matter. Check out the nonsense contents in our Nollywood or even nairaland here. Nigeria's youths always run from discussion that needs exposure and knowledge. BigBrother is in US too but not popular at allll! It gets just about 4million viewers per season in America. Check 100 most popular TV shows in America. BigBrother is not among. And that's what ignorant youths are dying for in Nigeria. https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/most-watched-tv-shows-highest-rated-2018-2019-season-game-of-thrones-1203222287/ |
