And the 1 billion may be 100k usd in 11 years time
And $100k today, would be worth $50k. I totally get it and I am not trying to fight it. I just want to get to the point where I don’t concern myself with dollar/naira rate.

Heck, I may already be at that point tbh

Consistency does pay off, do everything in your power not to end up like people who have been in this game for 30+ years only to end up as MHs

In part of his writings, he usually says he's a very humble person, but in the same message, he makes sure to mention that his portfolio is close to a billion. Haba, you want to be everything at once? I remember when he got triggered by some people and deactivated his account — and apparently, that wasn’t even the first time. Okay nah. cheesy grin
Omo I tire ooooh. Any small thing billion billion, ok? Who cares? In fact turn it to trillion? How is that affecting me?

Because he has billions, I should come and learn from him? Learn what exactly? How do you know I don't have my own billions?

Jeez, my only prayer for Nigeria and Nigerians is for everyone to be buoyant enough to meet their needs and the needs of their family, the moment this is achieved, no one will pay attention to people like this.

Answer from AI...

Final Answer:
You would need to invest approximately ₦43,230,000 today in the NGX, growing at 32% annually, to reach ₦1,000,000,000 in 11 years.

Key Notes:
32% annual return is extremely aggressive—very few investors consistently achieve this.

Inflation & risks are not accounted for—real returns may differ.

Diversification & reinvestment of dividends could impact results.

Past performance ≠ future returns—NGX volatility can affect outcomes.
Even AI self na mumu lol, didn't factor in the fact that capital markets have not seen a bear market since forever. I personally have not witnessed a real bear market, this probably applies to a lot of people here as well.

So you go put 1B for investment and you go accept 1m dividend? Maybe you meant 100m dividend
Abeg bros, I have a question and I want you to answer based on your experience.

How much would I need to invest in NGX to have a ₦1,000,000,000 portfolio in 11 years abeg? Lets assume I was able to beat the market by 20% annually.

Just rough estimates is fine. I want to check something

I'm not seeking validation from you, given your lack of basic life etiquette. I've never asked for your opinion on my posts, and your responses suggest you're stuck in a rut. My previous post aimed to share my success story, where the market has been extremely rewarding, in the hopes that it might help you. Specifically, I wanted to illustrate how compounding can transform a portfolio from negative to positive, not to reveal my investment strategy or invite you to NYSE. The key takeaway is the power of, humility, patience and time in investing, as evidenced by the deleted screenshots.
No validation given from here bro, you are explaining things no one asked you for. I only made an observation I noticed, you were calling out someone for a 40-50% prediction. Since you are unable to remember 2 or 3 years ago, I will remind you. You got on here and made a prediction that Transcorp will skyrocket by 9,000%, I told you to calm down and that angered you to the point of leaving Nairaland after spewing your vitriol, yes, you did that!

I was just observing the change in your tone, nothing more. I do not want you or your portfolio to teach me anything. Allow me to remain stuck in "my rut" whatever that means.

Your sense of history is skewed. I never swore at you. It's clear you lack basic etiquette. The market has been extremely rewarding for me. I'm now in the consolidation phase of building a legacy portfolio for my offspring and future generations.

I recall our previous discussion where I advised investors to remain invested during the twilight of the Buhari administration. You responded that people like us would be the first to surrender our portfolios at the sight of a bear market. I'd like to clarify that I'm a successful self-investor with experience in three exchanges: NGX, NYSE, and Binance.

My investments have yielded impressive returns. On NGX, I'm on track to reach my goal of a N1 billion portfolio in under two years. My NYSE portfolio is compounding nicely, and my digital assets on Binance have doubled in value. You can call me a stock billionaire if you like – that's what 11 years of staying invested through good and bad times have earned me.

My investment philosophy is centered around long-term growth, not short-term gains. I don't trade frequently or book profits often. Instead, I set personal goals and work towards achieving them. I hope you'll learn from my approach. Humility is key in investing, and I often advise against getting caught up in short-term competition or predictions.
Due to personal reasons, I won't share my NGX portfolio here. However, you're welcome to learn from my NYSE portfolio, which continues to compound nicely.
grin grin grin grin I should learn from your NYSE portfolio? No thanks, I am good! I would like to learn from your NGX portfolio though since this is NSEMPA.

Anyone who has been here and remembers your old account can tell how you have pulled a 360. You can try to deny it, but it is glaring for all to see.

Keep up the compounding

I'm not sure I agree with your advice. The stock market has a way of humbling even the most confident investors. With profit traps lurking around every corner, it's essential to stay vigilant and adapt to changing market conditions. Let's focus on making informed decisions and managing risk.
Sometimes, I honestly cannot believe my eyes in this place grin grin grin.

I remember back in the day when this bros was swearing for my ancestors because I said he was too confident in the market, Told him market will teach him a lesson grin grin grin

Crazy to watch a permanent bullish person go from that to being conservative, this is good

This is strictly technical. I'm not seeing any significant moves for now regarding Aradel — it looks like it will still be available for less than ₦460.

AccessCorp appears to be setting up for a major move, either up or down. I believe the move will be upward. There's resistance around ₦17, but it has the potential to reach ₦34. cool
This guy, I hail you.

You made a brief analysis on Fidson when it was under the radar, this was a while back. I went and looked at it and your analysis made sense. I didn't have money to buy at the time, I eventually bought some at 22.

Don't mind him.
Countries do what they have to do for their own interest.
What about US that keeps going inside to print more dollars and more, something others don't have such leverage.
Ekpa!

Don’t worry, after all these noise and carrying water for the Chinese, you’ll still end up buying Nvidia, Meta and Google stock.

Your government will still go and borrow money from the US govt to run its affairs.

We will all balance last last

Exactly! Everyone who is egging China on does not really understand or is ok with all the cheating and stealing done by the CCP.

Just because stealing and cheating has been normalized in Nigeria does not make it ok. Let them keep devaluing their money, it is only a matter of time before the poor Chinese people revolt.

The chances of this happening are slim.

Do you realize that major American manufacturers have a good chunk of their factories in China?

GM, Ford, Nike, Dell, Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Qualcomm, P&G, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, HP, Dell even Tesla etc

I don't think China have any reason to 'cave in'...
Most of these companies do not have factories in China! China does not allow foreigners own things! It is usually a joint venture kind of deal.

Apple has a manufacturing agreement with Foxconn, same applies with almost all if not all the other companies you listed.

The first American company to fully own and build a factory in China was Tesla.

I am sure there are other companies like Foxconn in other parts of the world ready to eat their lunch.

America will win by any means necessary

I was a big champion of Oando back then too. It looked like easy money, and it worked out nicely. As soon as I tripled my money, I sold because it was beginning to look like hope.

I am just waiting for the first batch of the bonus Oando to be credited to holders account which will fuel a round of selloffs. I intend restocking at that point.

Oando at N30+ is a sure 100% ROI for 2025.
At this point, it looks like you're buying based on hope. Even if Oando does 100% you'll most likely still be in the red because you were buying when the price was high.
