I informed my school about the denial and they replied me with this message. Oga Siga and all, do you know anything about what he is talking about?

That is unfortunate and frustrating. Let us know if you need anything from us. Please let us know when you find out why your application was rejected, particularly if it was an application process error on our part. I do know the process has changed for 2013, but it shouldn't have affected any application that was submitted previous to January 15, 2013.

Please help me out, i want to go to VAC tomorrow to collect my documents but i cant find my receipt, please what can i do. Just checked where i kept it and its not there. Please what can i do? Really need to collect my documents tomorrow.

Status changed, application returned to where you applied. Don't even know when to go and get my documents back because i cant even find my vac receipt at the moment, will re-apply sometime next month. To all whose application were rejected just thank God for giving you the grace to apply and thank him for the new things He is going to do.

Starting the process of re-applying right now. @oga siga and all, i first applied with a flight school in Lethbridge but I've got to know a school in Edmonton that is cheaper so i want to change school when i re-apply. Will it affect the application?

Pls guys dont ask Mercy any question for now, nobody knows how she feels right now. In the coming days we can do that.

i just mailed my flight school now and the admission officer replied me that CDHC is yet to contact them since i submitted in Sept 2012. Now is it that they don't verify acceptance letters and if they do, are you thinking what am thinking right now? What on earth are they doing with my application that they are yet to contact the school to confirm my acceptance letter at the sixth month These CDHC guys are just searching for unnecessary trouble, mind you i mailed them last week Friday and they refused to reply, guess they are tired reading my mail and replying with there copy and paste message. God in control.

I've made up my mind to visit CDHC next Tuesday if i don't hear anything from them by the close of work next Monday. By next Tuesday it will be exactly 20 weeks my application got to the CDHC. I just need to hear something and not there regular copy and paste message.

kayce43: Mercylicious, adexcube, xtus and my nairalanders still awaiting medicals, dunno hw much more pressure u can put on d embassy cus I just had to speak to my agency whether they have any August and Sept applicant awaiting medicals and they said they have none like Dat ...wen am @ dia office, I see hw much they pressure the embassy abt dia applicants status, cus I knw it will be six months by nxt month...think u shld not relent this period, regular calls , e-mails wld be invaluable at this 5th month.

Tired is an understatement but I just have to keep the faith and hope alive. I've mailed them twice, will mail them again tomorrow.

If your sponsor is a company then you have to otherwise no need for it.

deebla: @earthgreen Mehn it doesn't av multiple dates o. My problem really is telling the school to send another letter dated for September when they av just COURIERED (not by regular post) the admission documents yesterday and hoping to arrive tomorrow. What it means is that they av spent money in doing that... Now me mailing them again to give me another start date barely a week after the letter was sent could look very unserious of me. I don't know if U understand me...

Tell them to send it through the regular post ie normal post office mail or you pay for it from here and DHL or UPS will pick it up over there and send it down. You dont really need it asap, you can still wait for some few weeks before you apply.

kenniy: i wanna think so..though at that point, it should be the account holder making the transfer and filling the form..best bet is to speak with ur banker..did mine through the oyin jolayemi branch..from my understanding, that the place they do such..you might wanna check that out..u should call the back and get the details first..

ps: i did call the customer service centre first tho, and they told me i cant transfer more than 10k.. until someone referred me to oyin jolayemi branch..and was able to use the form A. moral of the story: like any support/service line (Telco, Bank etc)..those quys at the support lines are not usually the best.. better u speak with someone that actually knows something.. hope i didnt offend anyone

kenniy: the debit was from my naira account, so the conversion rate they used is $160.2. there was a charge of 1% of the amount, and a further 5% of d charge [5%(1%charge)] .. they only do the transaction from current accounts (yup, i tried to use my savings..lol) so keep in mind the eventual N5/N1000 COT that will eventually hit ur account if you are doin from a naira account..

Can I use a domiciliary account that is not mine?

kayce43: Tink d commission they tuk was 2percent based on what ur sending but dat was high cus a friend of mine in d bank told me dat my Dad dint negotiate and wen I asked him, he confirmed it, he jst told dem to send it, so I tink u can get 1percent or even less if u having a good banking relationship with ur bank...u can confirm if u have a friend as a banker

kenniy: I did a transfer last week friday. The banker (GTB) told me its same day. By monday, I could see the bank processing charge on my student account. not the full amount yet, i think thats has to do with the school procedure of crediting my student account. Was till friday the credit hit my student account.

So basically, the transfer is within 24hrs..the rest is just the process the school does.

Please how do they calculate the processing fee for the bank? How much is the processing fee for yours and how much did you transfer? Am really interested in GTB because that's the bank I and my sponsor use. Thanks bro.

pj5: People I've got a testimony! I had applied for visitor's visa for a short study program. My application got to the embassy January 2nd. I then received an email from the school where I was offered a scholarship that there will be a visa cut off time. I asked for advise here and Siga said na only prayer fit do am. Prayer do am true true oh! I emailed the embassy last monday informing them of the deadline given to me by the school. Them no reply, but today, I have my visa in my hands!

Only two visa officers, and how many bank drafts do they get every month? This is wickedness and the government cant even do anything about it, too bad.

Were you intending to go to a flight school and who was the sponsor? You should have just paid the amount you were able to get and send it to them. Miracles still happen you know, if you believe.

By Gods grace we will all get our trv. When i get to Canada i will send a mail to CDHC that they are the most inefficient embassy ive ever seen. i go write article of my story send am to newspapers sef but make i get the trv first.

When my uncle told me to come over to the uk and apply for my canada trv from their embassy over there i told him its not necessary but now i know i took a very wrong decision of turning his offer down. AM TIRED OF CDHC. By next tuesday it will be 18weeks, for what now? Even visa to heaven sef no reach 5mins.

Your own fees self no reach mine, na $47k excluding accommodation. From what I had you can only send $10k in one week so you are still on track. Once the school gives you the necessary info you need you just move on. Na my own dey fear me now cos all the money not ready for now but I know God will solve the problem. Be fast bro.

mosquitoway: hi guys..i got my passport back from cdhc today with my conditions to pay full fees and board and also get a new start date.my fees a re ridiculous to be paid once bbut God dey,what i was wondering is the board , the accomodation part i am meant to show for one year,is it possible i get someone in canada that owns a house to show a receipt that i paid for the year,cos rily cant pay the full accomodation now,and again does it have to be in the york region where my school is?i really dont know how i would prove the payment of the one year accomodation..any ideas in the house plsss?

This doesn't make any sense. How will they say you should pay full tuition for a flight training and they know how much that is involved. Make then give themselves brain oo cos my full tuition no dey ground now ooo. What about duration of time in which you must pay, did they state that at all? Talk to your school they should give you a document to cover the CDHC wahala for accommodation if they don't provide accommodation for their students. Goodluck bro.
