No medicals till now.
School replied dt I shld contact my course supervisor for registration extension. And after d extension, d admission is over since d start dates is exhausted.
Am advised to ask for extension till Feb.
The one dt pains me most is 'Please note that we still require your official degree certificate in a sealed envelope from the university, with the university's stamp across the seal of the envelope before you will be eligible to register.'

Maybe am nt to go to Canny now.

Y don't you just mail CDHC or forward the email to them and add your own words to it? You really need to act fast and have faith that everything will be fyne.

kelly4top: i have the feeling that those awaiting TRV and further medical instruction will get alert tomoro being last day of the year when they track as their new year gift. If you have faith say amen!

They would have given it to you now, dint they give you any document to sign? I went there with my own too which I downloaded from their website but they just gave me their own, I filled it and signed.

mercylicious: Bt come to think of it. Medical waiting time can be reduced to 5 days or less. Test done on day 1, result out on day 3( I aSsume blood culture is done,it takes 2 days.) Test result attached and sent to cdhc via mail same day, trv issued same day 3 or day 4. Dt way, money on post will be saved.
Cdhc shld just re-engineer their processes to make it fast and effective.

CDHC is just being unecessarily wicked thinking they are strict. The day I did my aviation canada medical test in an hospital in Kaduna it took just 1hour and the result was out despite the fact that my blood sample and urine was taken to the lab and HIV test was part of the test. They also carried out a test on the sense organs and all the organs in the stomach. So why is CDHC just being wicked for no reason?

Her school starts on the 7th of Jan. She is going back to the Embassy tomorrow with proof of fees payment , why did they call her to make payment? I think somebody just rush and made a quick decision when they did not see her proof of payment

I pray they let her in cos it just doesn't make any sense. After going through all those stress and spending that much money. It just doesn't make any sense and its unfair. Am praying for her. I wish her success.

Once your application was not submitted thru VAC, then you can't track. Tracking is meant for VAC customers. All you can do is to keep calling your agent for updates.

They had better come back on the 27th oooo, cos status never change and status must change before the end of the year cos baba God don use am as my Christmas and new year gift ooo. My application will be exactly 3months it got to CDHC on Christmas day. God is our strength.

On the issue spencer brought up, he was not forcing or binding the idea on us, it was a proposal or suggestion which we are to weight the pros and cons, not for some peeps to attack his personality. It is a good idea that will bring about more unity, credibility, respect and trust on the forum. If you condemn the idea, good but why do people post the documents they submit to the embassy on here? And also why dont we condemn guys who have uploaded their refusal letter here? It is the same thing, just an improvement on the normal tradition here. Don Cipher: @Mercylicious no update yet oh, this is 2wks since @Cori corde & wuralulu got CDHC updates. Sep might have a larger number of applicants due to pple who applied for fall but were refused and they reapplied - my thots. Anyways all i'm interested in is success in my app & not whether it's getting late or CDHC going on vacation.

God is in control, let's have faith and keep on tracking. It is well.

mercylicious: Cdhc just called less than 5mins ago. They asked d duration of my course. I told them 2yrs. They said I wrote 1year, to end 2014. I told them yes. That jan 2013 to dec is 1 year. Jan 2014 to dec is 2years.
She said ok and dropped. Whatever it is, I know it will be positive. My dream doesn't fail me. I had a dream were I was sharing ppl rice and stew yesterday night.
This morning, I went and sealed d dream wit a seed in d church.
Whatever happens will be in my favour.

The person in question that wants to travel with turkish airline should call the airline and get the real information. This does not worth an argument.

This CDHC people dont just have a valid reason, i guess they are trying to regulate the number of visas approved. God is our strength. Be strong and submit a new application early next year.

TRV_IJN: Hi freshdude, pls confirm if one needs a transit visa to land in Turkey? I recall a story about a guy that was sent back to Nigeria because he didn't have a transit visa for turkey- he was going to Ukraine (this was around 2003-2005, don't recall exactly when.

You can transit without visa in Istanbul provided that you:
• continue your journey to a third country on a connecting flight on the same day(ie within 24hours)
• hold a ticket with confirmed seats for your next destination
• hold all documents required for your next destination (ie visa to canada)
• have your luggage checked through to your final destination
• do not leave the airport transit area
