Caracta: Huh? You are kidding, right? What about Blaise? And all the other ones he wrote as Richard Bachman? And Carrie? Tommyknockers?hun..started avoiding is book after reading was it black house? maybe because of my addiction to Ludlum, Sidney sheldon, Ian Flemming, Luis L'amour etc. |
Dan brown has mad skills but Stephen King is the king when it comes to writing left wings (wink) but Robert Ludlum tops all of them generally
Now!! Robert Ludlum |
Caracta: Yeah I know. Stephen King remains my love though. I wouldn't cheat on him with Brownreally? the only Stephen King I enjoyed was CUJO ![]() |
Caracta: Dan Brown is craaaaaaaaazy! Hahahahahahalike seriously..he is frigging krazy |
ItsModella: I hope she prayed well before eating it.you know I would do same for you.. |
I just Finished Dan Brown's latest Robert Langdon's series and I have to confess, the book was a page-turner!! I was stuck to it to the very end. As usual, the book became a subject of abject ridicule by ANTI-LANGDON critics: A book reviewer described it(INFERNO) as "His(Dan Brown) worst book yet". ~Let me introduce the book to you because summarizing it would definitely spoil the fun(as the book really has a very twisted and shocking end). ~The book is broadly inspired by the first part of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy:INFERNO. The villain in the book(Bertrand Zobrist) is a mad-scientist, whose intentions are as genius as they are crazy. He is inspired and fueled by Dante’s epic poem, Inferno. >>The book opens with memories of a mysterious veiled woman, one of Dante’s ethereal Shades, breaking into Langdon’s consciousness as he recovers in hospital from a supposedly head wound. “Seek and find,” she whispers, as thousands of bodies writhe at her feet, consumed in blood, faeces and fire. Which is fine in its way, but then Brown kills any mystery the woman might have possessed with a rigor mortis-inducing pen portrait: “She had a sternly set jaw, deep soulful eyes, and long silver-grey hair that cascaded over her shoulders in ringlets.” >>Later in the scene, Langdon is attended to in hospital by Dr Sienna Brooks(later partners Robert in his breadth-catching adventure ), who appears to have similar eye trouble. “Her eyes, though a gentle brown, seemed unusually penetrating, as if they had witnessed a profundity of experience rarely encountered by a person her age.” Robert's stay at the hospital was cut short by the arrival of a female ASSASSIN(Vayentha)who killed the apparently elderly doctor and attempted killing Langdon whose escape was aided by Sienna... ![]() Go get the book... ||I would have posted a dropbox link to the book, but I'd be breaking a thousand and one domestic and international laws ![]() [s]You can PM me for the book and Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy(A Poem)https://www.theatlanticwire.com/static/img/upload/2013/05/13/dbinferno.jpg |
Airforce1: U dis rug rat u nor dey sleep?wtf? did I complain ? ItsModella: yes, I like dealing with senseless mofos like yourself. And oh, keep your sorry, the man who will marry me doesn't need it.of course I definitely don't need it sw***** |

Nomski0: I admit he's an okay player, but stylish? I dont know about that. And i dont wish for anyone to have his teeth, they're like enormous......does your current 'love' for vampires have anything to do with the highly publicized vampire tv shows from hollywood?by stylish, I don't mean elegance..the guy has is own style of winning games(check his history)..tv shows from hollywood? who has time for that anymore? my "Affinity" for vampires could be traced down to my childhood days: then I found solace in reading horrific books like, DRACULA(by Bram Stoker), the thrall series, Dark promises, etc... I think my interest rose as a form of self-denial(really hated the sight of blood) and my insatiable lust for the OCCULT.. |
ISBLIAC: rotlmfao......the flew part cracked me up...lol.walahi!! no be only you ![]() |
omo English don die finish for this thread..ma carry my garri and groundnut... |
ladunsky: and as for Bev, i guess the fact that she s the youngest kinda humbles her.. Buh shes gotta step up her game.. Melvin also.. This is Mr. Nice Guy is beginning to bore me...are you trying to tell me that the two nigerians we have there are not capable? ![]() |
Nomski0: Whoa! You must love vampires too, Luis Suarez? Absolutely nothing to write home about......i hope you dont have his kinda of teeth.would have loved vampires if they really do exist..Nope I don't have his kinda teeth(wouldn't mind if I do though), but you would have to agree with me that LS is a uniquely stylish player..now wouldn't you? ![]() |
the topic is misleading...I just watched d video and it has nothing to do with God..it's actually trying to prove that giants walked d earth several hundred million years ago..
according to the bible, is the universe that old? #just asking |
Harbosede02: hmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmmmmm |
Vanneni: I C...... Hmm!really? ![]() |
and who told you there is ever going to be a judgment day @OP? you can call me AGNOSTIC |
Vanneni: Lol. Funny you.you know now..lol ![]() there is no way I could possibly win you and itsmodella in an argument |
oh...NOT AGAIN!!! doesn't anyone believes in natural occurrences anymore? thats definitely the footprint of some giant |
Nomski0: Yeah....i get you. But i've always like cristiano, way before manchester united, i dont think its the money. You obviously dont like him.....you're one of those messi-induced fans.am nobody's fan..i don't follow crowd..i still prefer LUIS SUAREZ(surprised?) to any footballer although I won't delude myself by saying Messi is not better than he is #freethinker |
how exactly was she treated?anyway,I prefer KARMA handling things for me, cos "KARMA IS A BITCH!! never stops until it gets you" ![]()
|
Vanneni: Spill if you would.ok baby.. i agree with you ![]() |
Nomski0: No i dont, honest.I mean U GUYS ARE CRUSHING ON RONALDO AND JUSTEN BIEBER BECAUSE THEY ARE CUTE!! you are satisfying your innermost desires!! there is little difference between that and those who fall in love with rich guys ![]() still don't get? |
Nomski0: I crush on so many athletes- torres, lebron james, novak djokovic, walcot, it has nothing to do with how good they are on the pitch....its all about class and their faces.that's exactly my point sweetheart!! who is CUTER? You now understand me, don't you? |
Vanneni: Whether the guy who retweeted retweeted something or nothing, is it anything to you? You keep saying the guy who retweeted did wrong by retweeting a mere dot. To me it just shows he's a loyal fan who was clueless his action would earn him some money.hmmmn..ok but... ![]() |
Obviously...why would you need a gen when there is 24/7 power supply? |
Vanneni: What is your own na? Haba!huh..where did i go wrong ma'am ? ![]() |
Nomski0: Why are the girls that crush on Cr7 whores?i don't have a problem with crushing on people you have not seen.. but be frank to yourself, why ain't you crushing on Lionel Messi? why did you choose Ron over him? we all know Leo is better than him on the pitch..don't we? |
still find it hard to believe that four good-looking, promising guys were butchered by primitive beings...the only thing that is more painful is the fact that those responsible are yet to pay for it... but, come to think of it, there is no punishment that could be weighty enough to compensate for what those SAVAGES did |
