Orikinla: People saw my beloved mother hours after she died in a ghastly accident in Ijora, Lagos. But I was wondering why she did not appear to me.
One of the people who saw her was one of her closest colleagues at the Apapa Local Government Office in Apapa Wharf. She did not know that my mother was dead and my mother told her that she was in hurry and did not wait for her to ask any questions.
My mother herself saw a late aunt who was always visiting their home to play with the baby girl she had before she died after child birth.

One thing I know is the world is a very mysterious place.

2buff: Not quite actually. Have you actually watched their documentaries?
The lack of an MBA does not mean the lack of business sense. Some things come natural to some people and can be learned from the school of hard knocks.

Steve Jobs was anything but just a creator. He was a very business minded "techologist", making deals, always trying to be one step ahead, and just generally being very ruthless.

The FaceBook guy (anyone gonna tell me his name? grin ) MARK ZUCKERBERG got Mentored into being heavily business minded by one other guy that was also a software entrepreneur so he could be mentally equipped to make some big moves, otherwise he would have ended up just like any other "l33t" coder with an idea but poor/inefficient execution.

Bill Gates was anything but just a coder. He saw an opportunity, capitalized on it, made big steps besides just technical stuff. It ain't easy to penetrate a market as hard as Microsoft did, especially when competing with a fellow as ruthless as Jobs was.

You make it sound like all these guys did was sit around in their room coding and waiting for magic to happen.
Read some more about these gentlemen and you'll see they needed to employ that extra edge that is not too common with most geeks to do what they did. cheesy

vislabraye: But I wonder, did Jesus Christ follow these laws?
Did He get someone to do the dirty work for Him while he kept his hands clean?
Did He pretend to be a friend while he worked as a spy huh
Did he manipulate people?
keep wondering bro.. grin grin

warrior101: It's ok Bros. I didn't pick any offense sir. And no. I won't be surprised because i "have" read quit alot" myself.

Right now men, i am looking for money to o. i want to be pursing or even surpass "bill gates" so no time for books... All the books i have read hasn't got me anywhere. They will only catalyze your ego and nothing more. While others are busy making money, you are busy arguing topics, trying to prove how intelligent you are...
you are ryt bro.. but knowledge has its benefits too...

new maonza: @ OP: This is the classic problem every techie faces, we r so in love with our jobs that we 4get dat we have to pay the bills.. . . As 4 d business side of things i have to concur with Micheal Gerber dat "TECHIES CAN NEVER MAKE GOOD BUSINESS MEN". . . . . I believe dat since d average techie is not interested in being d richest man in Nigeria, we leave business to the businessmen & focus more on doing the job without being exploited, I think the solution to this problem is 4 techies 2 form associations ("employers nightmare"wink & truely co-operate with one another( the average techie is selfish especially with knowledge) to solve our problems.
