We didn’t see Adeleke in exam hall, witnesses tell court
Two witnesses in the ongoing trial of Sen. Ademola Adeleke on a seven-count amended charge bordering on examination malpractice on Wednesday told the Federal High Court Abuja that they did not see the senator in the examination hall.

The witnesses, Mr Emmanuel Adesola and Enoch Adigun, both teachers, while being led in evidence by the prosecutor Mr Simon Lough, told the court that they invigilated examinations at Ojo -Aro Community Grammar School in Osun State in 2017.

Adesola told the court that when he got to school, he asked for the school album but was told it was not ready.

According to him, “I could not identify any student without the school album since it was my first time there so the principal and the register helped me to identify them as I used the list I had to call the students into the hall.

Olusola was the master of the game, he never for once fought the central government, he uses the state machinary to his advantage and thus nurtured his beloved Bukky to become his perfect picture, his image, his gift to the people of kwara and Nigeria at large.

But over the years, the dynasty ruled like a cabal, Gbemi Saraki,Bukky and the rest were accused of milking the state dry, they Improvised the state,while they grow fat ,they feed the populace spoilt bread,while they ate bread,the people drank well water,while they drank honey laced drinks.

Since the release of the 2019 presidential election result, we have seen numerous ethnic/tribal comments as to why he should or shouldn't have emerge. With 4 points I will like to inform us why His emergence isn't a surprise to me in anyway.

1. Northern effect:
We have seen comments from our social media activists and politicians calling the northerners names for the emergence of President Buhari, but have we take it upon ourselves to consider why this people go back home to support Buhari?. Over the years, one thing I have learnt from the Hausa and Fulani's is the urge to always go back to there various homes to vote. No true northerners will because of his/her business stay back in the southern part of the country when it is election time but see we the southerners, we will always want to stay back in the north during election times to make more sales rather than come back home to give our region the much needed votes.

1. Alh lai Muhammad (Minister for information)

After contesting against Dr. Bukola Saraki in 2003 the minister went back to Lagos to continue his politics. Years after years Alh. lai Muhammad came back home in 2014 during the time of APC when he's in the same party with the kwara state government then. Together they campaign and win. Due to the problem Saraki had with APC then Alh lai Muhammad see it as a chance to take kwara away from him but it did not take long before DR. Bukola Saraki left APC for PDP and that's how the minister became the party leader.
2019 general brought the end to Saraki political dynasty and the crusade (Ó TÓ GÉ) was led by Alh. Lai Muhammad . the minister took the power away from the senate President when he and his disciples was crushed by the biggest political tsunami of Nigeria

Rivers guber: Wike, Awara clash in Port Harcourt

Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers state, and the state’s governorship candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Biokpomabo Awara, on Saturday clashed at the commission’s stakeholders’ meeting in Port Harcourt.

The Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, was represented by the National Commissioner in charge of Rivers, Bayelsa and Edo States, Barrister May Agbamuche-Mbu, who also chaired the stakeholders’ meeting.

Awara accused Wike and INEC of doctoring results of the ‘bloody’ governorship and House of Assembly elections of March 9 in the state.

Wike, on his part, accused Awara, other members of AAC and their backers in the main opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) of promoting violence and scaring investors from Rivers.

National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has weighed in into the ongoing leadership tussle IN the National Assembly.


Tinubu said the party discipline would be upheld in addressing the brewing crisis adding that the party choice must be respected.

The Leader, who just celebrated his birthday on Thursday in Abuja warned whoever is not ready to comply to leave the party.

According to NAN, the APC leader warned against what the APC suffered in 2015 when some of its lawmakers connived with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which was the minority, and elected those against the party’s choice as principal officers.

The ruling party is expected to produce the next principal officers after emerging majority in both chambers of the national assembly; it has 25 seats more than the PDP in the senate and is clearly ahead of PDP by 100 seats in the house of representatives.
