Politics / We Didn’t See Adeleke In Exam Hall, Witnesses Tell Court by adiomeeyah25: 1:40pm On Apr 03, 2019 |
We didn’t see Adeleke in exam hall, witnesses tell court Two witnesses in the ongoing trial of Sen. Ademola Adeleke on a seven-count amended charge bordering on examination malpractice on Wednesday told the Federal High Court Abuja that they did not see the senator in the examination hall. The witnesses, Mr Emmanuel Adesola and Enoch Adigun, both teachers, while being led in evidence by the prosecutor Mr Simon Lough, told the court that they invigilated examinations at Ojo -Aro Community Grammar School in Osun State in 2017. Adesola told the court that when he got to school, he asked for the school album but was told it was not ready. According to him, “I could not identify any student without the school album since it was my first time there so the principal and the register helped me to identify them as I used the list I had to call the students into the hall. “I didn’t see any of the defendants in the examination hall; Sen. Adeleke was not in the examination hall, he is a public figure so I would have recognised him,” the witness told the court. didn’t see Adeleke in exam hall, witnesses tell court Two witnesses in the ongoing trial of Sen. Politics / "O To Ge" Unleashing The Beast. What Will Happen After Apc Inauguration In Kwara by adiomeeyah25: 5:52pm On Apr 01, 2019 |
"O TO GE" Unleashing the Bolchevik Treatment. The failure of the Aburi peace accord opened the theatre of war that led to the death of millions of Nigerians. The Nigerian side entrusted the medical care of the Nigerian soldiers to a certain Olusola Saraki, rumor mill said the contract was so big that Olusola did not only become a millionaire but a multimillionaire, and the beginning of a dynasty that will forever shake the very core of Kwara and Nigerian political history. Olushola started a political movement in Kwara that combines politics, culture and religion. Saraki was so smart that he identified with the Yoruba side by calling himself Olusola, romanced the fulani aristocrats by saying he's Saraki, appealed to the masses by feeding them regularly in his home, married a christian to identify with the minority and stood at the feet of the Shehus,to consolidate his hold on the state. His grasp on kwara politics can be likened to the way the Romanov dynasty controlled the Russian government for decades, and oiling the country from an agrarian society into a dominant force to be reckoned with in international politics. Olusola was the master of the game, he never for once fought the central government, he uses the state machinary to his advantage and thus nurtured his beloved Bukky to become his perfect picture, his image, his gift to the people of kwara and Nigeria at large. Bukky entered the political stage as a "starboy", just like Peter the great of the Russian empire. Tall, handsome, charismatic, energetic and of course,a master chess player. The image of a new Nigeria. He rode on the back of his daddy's glory and became the governor, some said he betrayed his father,a point I always argue ,he did not,Olusola played the sympathy game and at the end of the day voted for bukky in the same election. But over the years, the dynasty ruled like a cabal, Gbemi Saraki,Bukky and the rest were accused of milking the state dry, they Improvised the state, while they grow fat ,they feed the populace spoilt bread, while they ate bread, the people drank well water, while they drank honey laced drinks. Just like the Russian workers, kwarans were agitated, tired of the dynastic rule. click the link to continue reading =https://www.newlygist.com.ng/2019/03/o-to-ge-unleashing-blochevik-treatment.html |
Politics / Buhari And 2019 ELECTION By Taiye Abdulrasheed by adiomeeyah25: 2:13pm On Apr 01, 2019 |
BUHARI AND 2019 ELECTION By: Taiye Temitope Abdulrasheed (#Rasbom) Department of Agriculture. University of Ilorin. Harbdulrasheed@gmail.com Since the release of the 2019 presidential election result, we have seen numerous ethnic/tribal comments as to why he should or shouldn't have emerge. With 4 points I will like to inform us why His emergence isn't a surprise to me in anyway. 1. Northern effect: We have seen comments from our social media activists and politicians calling the northerners names for the emergence of President Buhari, but have we take it upon ourselves to consider why this people go back home to support Buhari?. Over the years, one thing I have learnt from the Hausa and Fulani's is the urge to always go back to there various homes to vote. No true northerners will because of his/her business stay back in the southern part of the country when it is election time but see we the southerners, we will always want to stay back in the north during election times to make more sales rather than come back home to give our region the much needed votes. On calling the northerners illiterates, Click below to continue reading =https://www.newlygist.com.ng/2019/02/buhari-and-2019-election-written-by.html?m=1 |
Sports / Maurizio Sarri Said He Is Going Nowhere After Fans Chant For Him To Be Saked by adiomeeyah25: 6:47pm On Mar 31, 2019 |
Maurizio Sarri insists he is going nowhere despite Chelsea fans chanting for him to be sacked during Sunday’s win over Cardiff, with the Italian saying they should have waited until full-time to air their grievances. The west Londoners scored two late goals to come from behind and win 2-1 in Wales, though there were chants of ‘f**k Sarri-ball’ and ‘we want Sarri out’ from the first half onwards as the Blues gave another slow and laboured performance. It is not the first time Sarri has been on the receiving end of such chants from his own fans, but he believes the fans let down the players by choosing to chant about him rather than getting behind the team. I have been on the pitch for the last 45 years. I was really disappointed for my players because they were fighting,’ the Italian told reporters after the game when asked about the chants. 2019 kwara state general election has come and gone, the electorates decided who is next to pilot the affairs of the state for the next 4years . 2019 kwara state election opened our eyes to many things we don't believe . I have decided to write about the real winner and losers of the just concluded kwara state election. Here is the list of the winner 1. Alh lai Muhammad (Minister for information) After contesting against Dr. Bukola Saraki in 2003 the minister went back to Lagos to continue his politics. Years after years Alh. lai Muhammad came back home in 2014 during the time of APC when he's in the same party with the kwara state government then. Together they campaign and win. Due to the problem Saraki had with APC then Alh lai Muhammad see it as a chance to take kwara away from him but it did not take long before DR. Bukola Saraki left APC for PDP and that's how the minister became the party leader. 2019 general brought the end to Saraki political dynasty and the crusade (Ó TÓ GÉ) was led by Alh. Lai Muhammad . the minister took the power away from the senate President when he and his disciples was crushed by the biggest political tsunami of Nigeria Click the link to continue reading =https://www.newlygist.com.ng/2019/03/real-winners-and-losers-of-2019-kwara.html?m=1 |

National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has weighed in into the ongoing leadership tussle IN the National Assembly. Tinubu said the party discipline would be upheld in addressing the brewing crisis adding that the party choice must be respected. The Leader, who just celebrated his birthday on Thursday in Abuja warned whoever is not ready to comply to leave the party. According to NAN, the APC leader warned against what the APC suffered in 2015 when some of its lawmakers connived with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which was the minority, and elected those against the party’s choice as principal officers.
