Britishpea: Buhari can’t do nadaaa. Except he’s ready to throw Nigeria in a state of anarchy. If he messes up with EL Rufai, which he dare not, watch as other states will begin to make same pronouncements.
El Rufai didn’t just wake up to announce this. It is a coordinated arrangement and he’s asked to forward it being a BuHaris man.
In few days watch as other states will pronounce the same. Buhari will fail on this woefully. Funny enough he can’t arrest any governor Buhari can’t do nada and he just overrode the Supreme Court, lmao. How many banks CO will the collective governors revoke because no bank in this country will go against CBN. We will see if the governors are ready to operate their own central banks and currencies. If they don’t like the policy, they know what to do the president. You and I know that’s not going to happen |

Britishpea: The war we envisaged has started. Buhari will understand who Jagaban really is. No matter what Tinubu will win. We won’t let the 30 years histories repeat itself again.
Buhari is known for flagrantly disobeying court orders. He’s not known to be proactive to issues suddenly he’s being proactive in a wrong way. You destroyed the economy and education of a country but you are here forming James Bond.
You claimed new naira policy will curb vote buying. But we can say that You are not a product of vote buying yet you failed woefully in almost all but for infrastructures. We should have let Jonathan that bought votes to win. Could have been better, maybe.
People are suffering. Banks even interrupted their USSDs and apps to alter transactions.
We are never animals. You are destroying a party that brought you in. You can’t make people hungry and not expect them not to repel.
You must be so wise to think that hungry people won’t collect money to vote for people. Even if they are paid in coins on election days they will collect it and vote for them.
You just made Tinubu earn a lot of sympathy votes. It is discussed in every corners right now on how you are trying to stop a Yoruba man from getting to the Villa same way your cronies like Babangida, Abacha a did. It will not happen. This plot of dead on arrival-DOD Oga, forget all this epistle you’re writing and go deposit your money tomorrow if not na charcoal it go become |
Politics › Re: Unpopular Opinion: I Think Tinubu Should Be Grateful To Obi by Adiwana: 7:02pm On Feb 16, 2023 |
wonder233: Nope you're wrong. The southeast and southsouth would not have rated Obi as they are rating him right now and would have very big apathy to troop out to vote another Fulani man in the person of Atiku. So, very low turnout in the southeast and southsouth. While in the north, For picking an Ibo as vice, the core muslim north would shun Atiku and stick to APC. (notice I said APC, not Tinubu). So it would have been easier for Tinubu to win.
But in this present scenario, with the 3 candidates holding their strongholds, the election will go to a runoff and then, one of the three will have to back one over the other to win Many outside looking don’t realize Obi is a big clog in the wheel for both candidates. The parties involved know this and that’s the reason for the constant non stop attacks on him with propagandas popping up everyday. Tinubu is not stupid to mention Obi whenever he gets the chance if he doesn’t consider him a big threat Just as you predicted, a run off is very much in the cards. Naira redesign even goes further to tighten the ropes |

And is not like Obi is going to win anything. I don't think he will even win his state! Get money from which bank?? Banks don’t have the new notes and the ones that have it, got the money in very limited supply. Unless you’re going to tell me politicians are going to hoard trillions of naira and suddenly circulate it on election |

DontBullshitMe: Looks like it was Brighton actually carrying Potter not the other way round. . .
I might be wrong though, but Potter's departure seems like a blessing to BHA. Football fans don’t appreciate what having a solid base in a football club means. Chelsea is where they’re right now because the club is all over the place and it’s directly affecting them on the pitch. You’ve got to give it to Potter for what he did at Brighton irrespective of what is going on at Chelsea at the moment |

BlueMann: True. He always puts his body on the line, be it pressing, making a challenge, attempting to reach a loose ball etc. It's admirable.
I don't doubt he'll move to a bigger club Soo, which is why I want him to leave his mark in Italy by leading Napoli to their first Scudetto in a long time. I think he should take it easy sha. Read more of his game well to know when it’s right to go for certain challenges cause injuries will set him back a lot. I’ll like to see him play one more season with Napoli. This Napoli team is just built right for him. The chemistry with Kvara is too good to abandon after one season. Other teams in the league are not perfectly set up like they’re and they can win next season scudetto and possibly go far in Europe. Then he can now go to any big club |

I feel like that’s why he gets frequently injured. That’s why Spaletti loves him so much. Once he fine tunes his game a bit more and keeps fit long enough, na dream striker for any team in Europe |

There’s no right time to join a team but there’s definitely a wrong time.
No one will pass up being offered the role of CEO at Apple but that does not mean your failure is not assured as you don’t have the requisite credentials. Still, someone has to do the job. There are only few top clubs around and the jobs are not readily available. Tuchel and Poch are jobless right now despite their CV. That’s to show you how limited getting this jobs are not to talk about a coach from Brighton getting such opportunity |

DeadPresidents: Only fans with an emotional connection to Liverpool saw that as a possibility.
The crux of the matter here is, regardless of the progression path Potter decides to take, joining Chelsea in its current incarnation was the wrong move.
Potter is actually a good coach. I don't think its his tactical competency that is the problem here but tactics are just one of the many areas you need to excel in to become a top manager. Nobody is really passing up a Chelsea job regardless of the circumstances and jobs in football is not as linear as you’re projecting. Nuno of Wolves took the Tottenham job at the right time after doing a great job at Wolves and even took them to Europe but where is he now? Thing is if you’re taking over any big club in the middle of the season, you’re walking into a big mess. Potter’s situation is different though cause of the off field circumstances. He’s good though but he is also to be blamed. Drop players not performing. Might as well start playing less experienced players who have hunger and desire to perform and then rebuild at the end of the season |

Adiwana: Lewa is simply a better striker doesn’t mean Auba wasn’t good enough. If he wasn’t, the club won’t be looking to bring him back.
Against City, Auba made a lot of runs where Havertz pinged back passes he should have made and that summarized both his and Chelsea situation. At Barca it was not the case.
If the only creative players in your team are full backs while having creative midfielders like Mount and Havertz are on the pitch while those full backs are missing half of the season, then it’s clear where the problem is and Auba is not the problem 2 good runs yesterday from Felix, yet both Mount and Havertz decided to do God knows what but Auba is the problem, lmao |

Havertz10: Agreed but he isn’t good enough
If he was, Barca wouldn’t replace him with lawandoski after only 6 months
That’s why I was against the transfer, how Chelsea expect a player that isn’t good enough to excel simply because tuchel knew him when he was younger. so many contextual facts ignored, such a stupid idea
And here we are today, I rightfully called him lakaka 2.0 Lewa is simply a better striker doesn’t mean Auba wasn’t good enough. If he wasn’t, the club won’t be looking to bring him back. Android17: People said worse of Arteta but nobody is saying it again.
Nobody will accept it now, but results were going sideways before Tuchel was fired. Tuchel himself had complained about the squad he had. The issue is, if Todd knew he was always going to fire Tuchel, he should not have allowed him to play a role in the recruitment.
Potter is in a fix. He inherited players he never wanted or requested and because he is the compliant guy, he cannot complain. Next, Potter is a system based manager like Pep, Klopp and Arteta. Who have an idea of the way they want their teams to play and then they try to recruit players to suit those needs.
Potter is trying to force the players at his disposal to play to his system but some of them are downtooling or simply do not have what it takes to be hot dogs; and by that I mean, they do not cut the mustard.
If you look at recent trends though, system managers are generally more successful so you can see why Todd will stick with Potter at least till next season or until he completely loses the dressing room. I hate this types of excuses. No manager that takes over a team mid season walks into prime Barca. Even managers that take over from the beginning of the season hardly get the teams they want. You meet the team on ground, work with them and then gradually bring in your type of players. |

Segedinho: Havertz has been responsible for Auba's lacklustre display..
He chooses wrong options of passing back most often even when Auba is making an important run I think say na to not me see am. Auba has made at least 3 good runs but Havertz will rather slow down the tempo and pass backwards |

Havertz10: I still don’t rate this arsenal team
It’s good that they are nicking points now, maybe they can secure champions league qualification at least, which I didn’t even expect but they wouldn’t win the league, the team is full of too many average players, the coach deserves all the credit
But they will struggle next year, business end of the season is when boys are separated from men
none of their players stand out, they don’t have that special player that can change the game when it gets difficult Argentina showed you can win a tournament with Brighton and Aston Villa players if they play as a team not individuals. Winning a league is all about beating those teams you’re supposed to beat. Man City are dropping points against those teams and Arsenal are picking them. Na so then talk about Leicester until they won the league. Same thing is happening with Arsenal. |

raumdeuter: If you are not going to dominate the game and have plenty box plays then Giroud is useless. He doesn't have the energy to be chasing ball around like those other guys
Given to Argentina dominated the midfield then he needs a forward who can drop and press the Argentine midfield at least. I think he made the right sub at the right time. Needed something entirely different cause his team was not doing anything at all. The first goal was just all that needed. But without that mistake, there wasn’t much difference between what Giroud offered and what Thuram did |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Adiwana: 9:10pm On Dec 19, 2022 |
raumdeuter: Deschamps has to start Griezmann and Mbappe. But should have dropped one of Dembele or Giroud
With hindsight I think Thuram or Kolo Mouani would have done better starting because they are more mobile with some physicality I think he started with the right line up. Can’t change what has been working since the beginning of the tournament. The major issues were that the middle of the park was completely overrun by Argentina and Di Maria was skinning Dembele and Kounde at the right hand side. The energy level were low and his team couldn’t react at all. He needed to inject energy and physicality into that game, that’s why he made those two subs. Even at that his team didn’t do much until that Otamendi error. That’s when all those attributes entered into the game cause momentum was in their favor |
