Players with rhythm also miss. Just yesterday Kdb and Rodri missed their spot kicks while Vieira scored his. It's not really relevant. She might be the best Pk taker in that squad.

It’s really relevant. Sure, anybody can miss but you can’t just throw somebody who barely had a touch to kick your first pen. That’s why you have Oshoala on the pitch in the first place.

Na the coach. We don see am time and time again, that players that are not in the rhythm of the game have higher chances of missing penalties. Why is she kicking the first pen?

A coach can't be a clown for wanting a player to play a certain way but rather it is the player who is indiscipline, stupid for walking out on his coach.

Players can’t switch up the way they play football mid tournament. If you call up Messi and expect him to press for you, it simply won’t happen. If you insist on it, you cause serious problems in your dressing room.

We’ve seen it happen so many times

Onana was their best keeper and Cameroon was not going to play possession based football and back passing with that their squad.

Na job of the coach to pick players that suit his style of play. Reason why De Gea wasn’t picked for Spain was because he can’t play out of the back.

Picking him knowing he’s not comfortable with the ball on his feet and then expecting him to play out of the back na recipe for disaster.

I said it during the World Cup that Song na clown for dropping Onana cause he wanted him to change over night from Sweeper Keeper to person wey go dey hoof ball.

You didn’t know the profile of the goalkeeper you were calling. You just saw a big name and decided to add him to your squad. Then 2nd game into a tournament, you want a player to completely change the way they play football. No be madness be that?

The postponement of elections don't have anything to do with BiVAS inspection. Rather due to time frame for reconfiguration of bvas. It also interest you to know the ruling was in favor of INEC not LP

In your words, you said it’s sacrosanct the election holds on Saturday, then you now came up with they need time to reconfigure the machines which is my point initially, lol.

The court already granted LP access to real time datas on the physical machines itself which INEC must produce certified true copies from those machines and of course, the backend before they format it.

By the way, even PDP and APC will also have access to all this datas. The backend is just for reference and audit purposes as those certified true copies are the ones that matter which all the parties have access to.

It’s impossible for INEC to produce any other data apart from what is on those machines unless they have Engineers working overtime to create new data sets

All this were impossible to do in just about 2 days that’s why I called it that the election would be postponed.

But I thought the same systems and servers were used for the other elective roles that the results were transmitted using IRev?

It could be different servers depending on how it was designed but everything uses the same domain.

Just like Facebook for example has multiple servers all over the world but you still use the Facebook.com domain to access those servers

Peter Obi is a demented liar who will never ever rule Nigeria or Anambra again using his stooges. He has no case at all. As long as there is substantial compliance with the electoral act, Tinubu's election will be upheld. Substantial is the key word because full compliance is never required. Uploading of the election results from polling unit to Irev is at the discretion and direction of INEC even the electoral act says so. They had glitches and even evidence from Galaxy backbone that over 200 hacking attempts were made to comprise their system. The judiciary doesn't need any more to convince them.

200 hacking attempts from where? Where is the logs? What type of attacks were being carried out? Where is the blue team report to backup such claims? Abi una think say there are no experts in this field that know how cyber attacks look like?

How did two BVAS reports produced in Osun election?

I have no idea. Anybody can produce any back up data which is what LP were trying to avoid. This will help eliminate different data sets from being produced by INEC.

According to Adeleke’s lawyer, the real results were retrieved physically from the machines themselves when there were discrepancies which proved there was no over voting.

Same thing will happen in this case as INEC will still give the true copies of those results from the physical machines to LP irrespective of what they backup in their servers which LP has access to.
Politics / Re: What Peter Obi Legal Team Should Have Done by Adiwana: 10:05am On Mar 09, 2023

I think what PO legal team should have asked court is to compel the INEC to postpone the governoship election for period of 2 weeks to enable them have access to the data on the BVAS after which INEC can now reconfigure the BVAS instead of approaching the court to grant them access to inspect the election materials when they are aware that other elections are still coming up and knowing fully well that the same BVAS would be use to conduct the elections. Now INEC has played a smart move by postponing the election after getting an order to reconfigure the BVAS which can be manipulated in the process, case of Osun election comes to mind where two different BVAS reports was presented before the court by the same INEC. This first blunder by Obi legal team would likely mess up the whole case in my own opinion. What do you guys think?

They have access to the machine and backend server. INEC would give a real copy of the results in the machine to the party plus allow them access to the backend in order to audit the result given to them

Hahaha, one thing is sacrosanct, election will hold on Saturday. Secondly, what INEC called CTC is what you will accept, you maybe likely assigned another name for it, it's what's it.

Let,l assume without admitting, if INEC is conducting election on Saturday, who do you think is loosing?

It already has been postponed. INEC producing anyhow CTC will complicate matters for themselves. The parties have all the time in the world,INEC don’t. INEC don’t have a choice in this

Guy you are not smart at all. it is still a win for Peter Obi's counsel because INEC has been foxed into a corner. there is no way they would tamper with the data in the BVAS that they would not be found out. And BTW the courts also granted PO's lawyers leave to also inspect the BVAS Before configuration by INEC.

It’s on INEC cause they must backup those datas and provide physical copies before they reconfigure those machines. Chance is that this election will be postponed but we’ll wait and see what happens

What are the reconfiguring in the BVAS?
While I don't support postponing the State elections, nothing must tamper with all data's on the BVAS ,as related to the Presidential election.

The datas are cached on the machines. So in order to use the machines, the datas needs to be backed up. INEC must now back that data up and provide true physical copies of those datas before they format the whole machine

Obi requested only one thing- stop INEC from reconfiguring the machines. And the court ruled one thing- refused his request.
Obidients can interprete the ruling to massage their ego any way they like.

The idea is to extract all evidences from the machine first before reconfiguration but the ruling basically is the same. All physical copies of the machines must be given and the parties have access to the backend server. Think is a win win for everybody

That is ideal but hardly practical.

Which is why I buttressed my point with America’s 250 year old democracy that still isn’t perfect and still receives allegations of rigging and manipulation - especially from bitter, sore losers like Trump and his mob.

We aren’t perfect yet either, but anyone that says we haven’t made progress with this election, despite the ruling party losing 10 states and improved voter accreditation with BVAS, is not being honest with himself.

It’s one thing not having a perfect system, it’s another thing doing what was done last Saturday. Having an election that puts this country on the brink of serious constitutional crisis is no progress at all. We can’t take 1 step forward and 10 steps backward

I love Xavi actually but he has to win a major title to be able to continue.

We have a very good team. Building foundation is there. If we can win the league, it has the potential of making the team more robust in Europe.

Forget about your numbers. Matches and circumstances surrounding play is not always the same and we have been very lucky in the league to get lots of 1 - 0 win. Its not like we're brushing everyone aside in the league effortlessly.

Losing the likes of Dembele, Pedri and Gavi tonight showed in the lack of quality we had going forward.

Which major title? Is it La Liga where we can’t even concede a goal and have to deal with only Madrid? Madrid are the only Spanish team in the champions league. That’s to show you the major title he is winning

That stability is what will bring down this club because it's that stability that is keeping him...

We can’t just sack him now. The league is practically won because the rest of the league are very bad that they can’t even score us. We just won a trophy and Copa del Rey is another trophy we can win to make it a domestic treble

We’re in a more positive place than we have been in 3-4yrs. Just that Laporta needs to take the initiative and see that without Xavi, it will only be upwards from here. A new coach can come in the summer and build upon what we already have

Huge credits to whom?

We left the trenches because he had players, there was nothing tactically spectacular about Xavi and this guy wouldn’t do shite in this team.
He can fvck off to Saudi Arabia where he is coaching Camels and Donkeys.

We were really scraping bottom barrel when he came in and managed to at least stabilize things on the field. Can’t take that away from him.

Just that after this season, he has to go.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Adiwana: 10:56pm On Feb 23, 2023
Xavi has no business coaching us. He doesn’t just have the experience and players individually under him have no improvements.

Good thing we have left those trenches we were in last year with huge credits to him. But it’s time for another coach to continue with that upward trajectory we’re now. Laporta can’t bank on La Liga where it’s literally us and Madrid. We’ve the squad to compete and there are managers out there right now that are unemployed. We should bin him after this season
