Well, the interview is definitely a good watch. GMB answered most questions very well but he somehow went off-point on some of the questions asked especially at the part 2.

If i'm to grade, I will grade him a B for this.

But he has shown that he has the intellect to provide a purposeful leadership for the country in the right direction. I'm so happy in the choice of his VP. He will complement him thoroughly.
Compare with Jonathan's own Ebony life interview. He will use technology to stop corruption. Even a student in first year of ICT courses knows that technology does not stop anything, processes do, technology is just an enablement. Jonathan also was overdoing the pitch to the youths thinking that we don't know that applicants were killed by immigration, kept them at home for five months playing tough guy with ASUU and all political Godfathers controlling him are in their 80s and Boko Haram is essentially youth driven. So a government that does not give a shit for youth

Guy, you are too much. Too much sense dey worry u. Tell them o. I don't know why they all ganged up on jonathan. God help us with these idiots everywhere.

Unfortunately the North is so dumb to think that Buhari's personal ambitions are synonymous with the North. Any smart northern politician should work with Jona and wait till 2019. Then the young and vibrant men and women can come out and we will chose. Just like we did for the west. I no be Niger Delta or pdp. I am only interested in stopping a Coupist and senile, semi-illiterate grandpa from deceiving his grandchildren.
Please don't cast Jonathan in the garb of a great leader. Buhari's strongest supporters are in the SW and SS. Please how is that for smartness that the so called sophisticated south had fewer people showing interest in the Presidency? The north is more intelligent than you and actually had five presidential candidates showing interest in the presidency in the two serious political parties. The South only had one Good luck Jonathan so when tribalism has finished playing with your mind maybe you will reason properly.

So let me give you some education.
Jonathan is not important. He is only one person but there are 170million Nigerians. We have seen him speak and act so I am sure at least 60% of these 170million Nigerians would make better presidents than Jonathan and you know that as well if your IQ is at least average.
So it sas all about luck and what God has planned for every person. God has done his bit but Jonathan has messed up his own opportunity and now Nigerians are well within rights to boot him out. Jonathan is not important at all. I walked past a nursery school today and saw little kids with school bags and lunch boxes looking at life with trust and hope, depending on us to make the right choices for their futures. No my friend Jonathan is not important, he has gotten his chance, tried with railways and agric, stolen a lot of money but he has to go. It is very simple. Those nursery school kids have to live and thrive and they are depending on is.

The northerners dont owe Jonathan anything, dont like him and don't want him. Pure and simple. Any asking about whys and wherefores is just unnecessary vexation of spirit. They are not going to vote for him. And they should not be expected to like him, unemployment is 80% amongst youths, Boko Haram is killing their kids and recruiting the remaining and it is getting alarming. The northerners accuse Jona of sponsoring Boko Haram or at least being weak on it as an ethnic cleansing program. Please tell me as an intelligent being who understands people different from his own culture why they should support their enemy.

You are being parochial and locally minded in your post and maybe it is the same glasses that the under exposed Jonathan has been looking at Nigeria with. That is why he would be handing over to his opponent soon.

I have watched the advert videos and they are unacceptable. They are painting the man as a mass murderer and demagogue which is not TRUE l. If elections are rigged again it will lead to violence with or without Buhari's prompting and you cannot use army to suppress the people they are the ones who will run.

Buhari for President. If we lose this guy we are screwed. The only Nigerians who are like him are far from positions of power, the Nigerians who are in positions of power are not like him. They think it is a game your destiny and your children's destiny and they are their clique have satans hold on your life. A Nigerian kid cannot stand to talk in an international forum with kids from advanced countries because too many things are already stacked up against him in education, health and so on.

I am worried about our level of education and exposure in this country. Too many half educated people. That is why ordinary trains are shakking people now. This period in our history we were using POUNDS and SHILLINGS and the dollar was very weak compared with Nigerian currency. Naira came with Gowon and it was very strong compared with the dollar, 1 dollar was actually 50 Kobo, later became 55 Kobo.

What kind of a man will you call a coward who has Chad invading Nigeria looking for Boko Haram while soldiers are harassing opposition politicians. Even if you want to harass which is bad enough can't the police do this job or SSS?
In the north east, very few soldiers will do this job anyway. Even you can clear those soldiers by driving a vehicle at high speed towards them, they will shoot at you clear away from the place and won't come back tomorrow.
Any way the man is not a useless man but a VERY USELESS man.

GeJ is still the best option for Nigeria.
Tribalism has killed you. Jonathan's is the worst government in history. At 220 to the dollar you will soon lose your job, if you are a business man they have wrecked your business. There is also $69bn debt on the head of your children. Last month PDP government wasted $1bn of foreign exchange to bring in Rice from Thailand for elections. Imported rice is now N8000 cheaper than local rice so all rice farmers and rice mills established with billions are grinding to a halt. This govt was stealing 400000barrels of oil a day in dollars and the western world knows where they have hidden the money.

Why I am happy that you are using yoir mouth to say that Jonathan is the best option is that in the remote possibility that he stays in government, he will actually ruin you and your family and still you will blame it on northern elders, islam, boko haram, tinubu, amaechi, buhari, northern youths, America, Europe, the west and every other thing under the sun and you will still believe it because some people must eat other people to thrive and you including your family are FOOD for those people..

Why are you taking this lightly?. Don't you see that judgment is coming against the PDP and Jonathan soon?. This is a very serious accusation. I once watched a 19year old girl burning slowly and crying in pains at Inyanaya as the life gradually left her body after bombing by Boko Haram. Now you are sort of sanctioning that because the man doing it or who should be preventing wears a bowler hat and his name is in the bible.

My advice to young people following PDP is to be very careful so that they share in the punishment meant for this generation of politicians. If you are supporting them because you hate the north then channel your support to APGA, KOWA and other parties. The centre is going to burn soon and it won't matter who wins. Jonathan is evil, corrupt, weak, cowardly, wicked and very undeserving of that post. It does not matter if you think otherwise or will still vote for hum anyway..he is going down painfully and he is not worth investing any hope or positive expectation on.

Please stop stupid speculations. The arrest of Buhari by Gwadabe, Dasuki and others was probably the mist respectful arrest in the history of Nigeria. Yes Abacha removed Dasuki' s father as Sultan of Sokoto and Buhari was later quite close to Abacha.
I think NSA is actually the man running the country now but he is just a tool in the hands of retired generals IBB, Abdusalami and OBJ. He is getting very vocal, powerful based on clear vision of where they want country to be and in one broad stroke has wielded influence on the conduct of the elections. The men who gain from all these as I said before are the retired generals and the NSA himself.
Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan Spent $32bn Dollars On Defence In Five Years – Buhari by Adminisher: 9:57pm On Feb 09, 2015
vandutchboy:
The two major political parties in the March 28 presidential election, the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress, besieged the venue of the 11th Delegate Conference of the Nigeria Labour Congress for votes in Abuja on Monday.
The presidential candidate of the APC, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari; the President of Senate, Dr. Pius Anyim, who represented the President at the event; the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole; and the Supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Tanimu Turaki (SAN) were the key political figures from the two political parties, who exploited the opportunity of the delegate conference to canvass for votes for their parties.
The 11 delegates’ conference has as theme, ‘The working class and the challenges of national security, unity and democratic development’.
Buhari said security agencies in the country had not been able to tame the Boko Haram challenge despite that the Federal Government had spent$32.88bn on defence in the past five years.
He said the Boko Haram Islamic sect snowballed into a national menace after the August 2011 attack on the United Nations Building in Abuja, which resulted in the death of 26 persons with 60 others injured.
The APC candidate added that there was the need for change politically because the nation’s security situation had become precarious.
The ex-Head of State said, “In August 2011, a vehicle smashed through two security barriers at the United Nations headquarters in Abuja just after 11am. Its driver crashed the car into the reception area of the building which housed 26 different UN agencies, and then detonated a bomb. Twenty-five people were killed; around 60, wounded. The then little-known extremist group, Boko Haram, claimed responsibility for the gruesome attack.
“Since then, Boko Haram has gained international notoriety and become a major national menace – kidnapping girls from their schools and women from their homes; slaughtering boys in their dormitories and men in their farms; exploding bombs in public and private venues; and taking town after towns in the North-East of Nigeria.
“And, for some reasons, our defence forces are unable to cope and unable to defend despite the Federal Government’s defence budget that has gulped over$32.88bn in the past five years.
“Our security situation in this country has never been so dire. Today, Nigerians have to endure, not just terrorist attacks in the North, but militancy in the Niger Delta, communal violence in the Middle Belt, cult wars in the South, and kidnappings, armed robberies, and common acts of thuggery throughout the country.
However, Anyim, who represented the President, said he was under instruction not to make political statements at the conference because of the sensitive nature of the audience.
He said the President was of the opinion that the audience comprised workers from federal and state governments, who could feature as ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the forthcoming elections.
He gave the assurance that the Boko Haram insurgency, which had been agitating the minds of Nigerians, would soon be brought under control.
Anyim also conveyed the assurance of the President to the NLC delegates that the forthcoming elections would be better than the 2011 polls.
Speaking also on the state of the economy, Anyim, who declared the conference open on behalf of the President, noted that he Federal Government was focussing attention on the creation of business that could generate employment opportunities for Nigerians.
In his comments, the Governor of Edo State, Oshiomhole, a former President of the NLC, who spoke earlier, condemned the continued importation of refined petroleum products into the country.
He said it was shameful that the nation’s refineries, established by the military and were functional then, were not working in a democracy.
He urged workers in the oil sector to look beyond their plum jobs to insist that the crude oil resources were refined in the nation’s refineries
