kestolove95:Mama Peace is the market woman. Mrs Buhari is the classy aristocratic woman of the times. What she even spoke about during the rally was important. No APC politician had ever spoken about how to actually vote on the voting day, it was she who told everyone it was the duty of women to point the umbrella symbol on the ballot card and tell the people. |
tbaba1234:You people are underestimating Jonathan's degree of irresponsibility in this matter. He is Commander In Chief, not minister of defence. He actually owns the military in trust for us. The military are not parastatals under him but institutions that work for him on a daily basis and the instruments of his power. It is a mighty failure we have now that you cannot blame on any general, AVM or Admiral. It is not about funds release alone it is about a President seeing himself as a visitor to the office of President since 2011. It is a wrong psychological orientation to being commander in chief that is why generals could run away from 18year old boko haram boys, boko haram could almost run over SSS hq and Chad is now operating in Nigeria and the CIC is not moved. |
This man is playing colour intelligence. Nigeria had about ten inland rolling mills before they came with Ajoakuta. The plan was to have Ajaokuta supply bullets to all of them. Private sectors operators have been adding to that capacity since the 80s. |
ShakurM:Good reason disappears after two swigs of Hennessy and Jack Daniels |
All this is old history. Get Jonathan out of government and get the old general in. We should defend our military institutions, they are the oldest and most prestigious institutions we have and we should not let some fisheries expert drag the country down into the stream. |
SeverusSnape:Vote for Buhari this FeBuhari. |
The arrest and trial of corrupt politicians was a national effort. We were praising Buhari government for every arrest made. If Good luck was in his early twenties then and educated he must have been happy about it as well. Dont let people fool the young generation. When Buhari becomes president again in Febuhari, we shall read all sorts of unbelievable things about corruption and even though he has promised not to prosecute retroactively he might be forced to go after some people. We shall still give support. Anybody stealing from the poor and the future of unborn babies is a wizard and should be punished. |
SeverusSnape:Don't vote for Jonathan. The man is fake, a thief and without ideas how to get Nigeria out of its hole. No personality to enforce discipline or control his government. The debt is already $70bn more are coming and corruption has exploded. In other to become PDP sole aspirant he has already promised billions of dollars. Please get theis floooxy out of office. |
nzeadachie:When people drink undiluted cow and donkey milk they quicly rush to the toilet, they don't have time to post rubbish on nairaland. |
saintandsinnerz:This is what the enemies of Jonathan are actually planning for him. The man should go to Prison for seven years or worse. Do you now how many people have died since he became President?. The worst luck for him is try to rig elections or refuse to handover after losing or try to use the army to truncate democracy. Then you will see revolution and we are nt talking Niger delta kid stuff. You will see Nigerian spring. All the private jets owned by his friends he has been boasting about we will se where they will be, all the government companies he sold to his friends we will see all the Niger delta oil they are boasting about we will see how many people give a damn. The cities will be turned to something else. He will then discover that 3/4 of the PDP don't even like him and a lot of close associates are just fairweather. No I am hoping he will try nonsense this time. This country needs a harsh lesson. |
chukwudi44:It is common sense. Aany poll that comes out neck to neck is victory for Buhari. You cannot poll Almajiris and all the woman in purdah, three states in the north east are inaccessible. Tell me another explanation for neck to neck polls of only major cities with working GSM networks. |
moderatorr1:This is a small boy talking. Amaeachi that has built inroads into the north?. Under what conditions can he be finished in Nigerian politics? Why don't you think?. A two term governor of a SS state who wants to be known nationally should be doing what he is doing. Amaechi is not in existence because of Jonathan and he is not in politics because of Jonathan. He actually had more stature than Jona and Obasanjo could have picked him the same way he picked Jona to be Yaradua's VP. Please let us think like intelligent people and leave sentiments. Everybody has mission in life and in politics. |
maureen546:Your own self deceit is better than threatening war and brimstone. At least when Buhari becomes president all you will do is cry on your bed and maybe throw a glass at the wall. This is better than threatening and not having the capacity to carry it out. Jonathan has lost this election already, all polls and common sense is already pointing to that fact. So keep up the self deception but prepare for bad news. |
LIES LIES LIES. Jonathan has lost and you are saying elections are too close to call when you already know half of Buhari' s supporters are unpollable. If I were a member of the Jonathan campaign I will start throwing in the towel. |
Mogidi:You people are always quick to count what was never yours as yours. Who told you that when Ondo and Ekiti people were voting Fayose and Mimiko it was Jona that was in their minds. Also where do you get the notion that these are PDP states. I also laugh when you count all Christian areas in the north for Jonathan. Even places the man never knew were parts of Nigeria in 2011, people have already said he was going to win there. All these people love Buhari personally, Christians have been getting along with Muslims before Good luck Jonathan was born and there is a top pastor of the RCCG on the ballot to further reassure them that things are cool. Everybody in the north knows that bombing of churches and mosques and Fulani herdsmen wahala will end when Jonathan gets booted out of office. |
mgbeketoto:Even though Omokri hurriedly closed it, a close win for Jonathan means a big win for Buhari at the elections. Millions of his supporters don't know what internet is but they have PVCs. The poll is actually within a demographic that Jonathan should have the advantage and since he is struggling there then it is easy to conclude that he is going to be roundly disgraced at the elections. |
Adegbodolu1:Don't mind the guy, Diaspora funds remittances are going to hit close to $25bn, the oil will barely earn $15bbm. The low oil prices is going to at least 3.5 years. Most of the production is now offshore and they are PSCs so Nigeria gets tidy royalties. Th oil majors have sold all the onshore production to oil Nigerian oil companies owned by mostly southerners. You can confirm this if you want. Th ND oil is not a commodity you can blackmail Nigeria with anymore. That ship has sailed. Look forward from 2015 and even most power generation is going to come from Enugu' s coal and NorthEast hydroelectric dams instead of natural gas, Nigeria has not had three months uninterrupted natural gas supply to power plants because of these people we pay billions every year to secure the pipelines. They have wrecked the SS president' s power generation target upon all the money he has spent. Jonathan did nothing about coal in the SE but Buhari has promised to fix that. Let AS people make Tom Polo, Asari and Boyloaf their champions and then they can drink their oil, other regions are going to develop their young and make them ready to compete globally. |
atlwireles:It is you that is dumb. The oil companies take about $8B-) from Nigeria to produce the 2million barrels we are boasting of. So the real ROI is different from what you see. I think our profit from the JV business from all the cheating they are cheating us is actually about 60% of each barrel price. Now most of the production is moving offshore so most Niger Delta people cannot even touch the production there. However, generally oil is a good foreign exchange earner but is a very unimportant contributor to GDP, ordinary fishing employs more people. One other interesting thing 90% of oil industry employees and contractors are from the South South. So I really want to see this shutdown of oil production and its effect on the people of the Niger delta. I am dying to see starving Ijaw babies, hungry and beautiful Urhobo women and sexy but poor Itsekiri ladies let loose upon Nigeria. On the other hand SS people get matured in their thinking, work hard, vote in the right people, make theology resources work for them and say the truth to corrupt and clueless leaders. Don't start something that God has not ordained like he ordained Good luck Jonathan that he has also decided to remove from office. |
PDP is the snake that has been stung by 10000 soldier ants. It has bitten itself to death when it presented Jonathan again for President. What we are seeing is the thrashing around because of the poison it has injected itself with before it's inevitable death. PDP will do well in Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Delta, Abia and maybe Benue. All the other states will be won by APC in the most complete routing of a rolling party in history and it will not be Buhari who caused but current and departed PDP politicians themselves. |
Ondo and Ekiti are for APC. Buhari will take all the middle belt (North Central) states. We are already seeing evidence from Niger State. APC already has Adamawa and Taraba, Atiku is there and Danjuma is losing patience with SS militants who I must say are working hard for Buhari with their utterances. PDP has been completely routed in the NW, you have to understand that the whole north is voting Buhari. I am seeing 25 to 30 states Buhari and 6 to 11States Jonathan. There is CHANGE around, a lot of it does not even have to do with Jonathan's performance or old animosities. People just want a different kind of party in power and a different kind of President. CHANGE does not have to be understandable or even fair it is just change. |
EUROFIGHTERR:Jonathan will lose and the loss will include either of Akwa Ibom or Cross Rivers State. One of them is going to APC. It might just be Akwa Ibom. Serious intra state issues between the state's. The PDP is also seriously fractured. You just wait and see. |
Jonathan has lost already. The SS does not have any ability to procure weapons outside the oversight of the FG. It is corruption that has been sustaining these practices. The troublesome people in SS are not more than 50, I don't expect to remain in Nigeria when Buhari wins. Please take it from me that the game changes with a Buhari presidency. All these pussy games being played with Boko Haram and PDP politicians get rolled over in short order. The Middle Belt is for Buhari, please don't invent a problem that does not exist. The only business of that region is the military and farming. They have many retired and in service military officers and they know Buhari more than you please shut up and don't talk about what your don't know. All the people who overthrew Shagari were middle belt, it was Buhari they invited to take over. Boko Haram is being sustained because of corruption in the Nigerian Army and divisions in the ranks around tribe and religion. The lazy and cowardly Jonathan believed needed that to sustain his rule as a minority president. A professional officer has president will deal decisively with Boko Haram. The best way to destroy an army is to allow its generals to be corrupted by money. This was the problem in the Niger delta and the northeast. When Buhari comes we will have a grim, determined and Spartan political culture that will infuse the army. There is no Biafran army coming from the East. Please stop these infantile masturbation (get a girlfriend or something). People should wake up and find things better to do. Th Nigerian presidency is the most powerful in the black world. It is a pity we had a Fisherman there for too long but don't deceive your self that you can test the will of the FG. People should learn from Biafra and get serious. |
Niger Delta oil has been useless so far. It has not developed Nigeria, it has not developed the people of the region and it might bring great destruction to its people if they blackmail Nigeria with it. Look at the map carefully before boasting. This is great destruction these militants are calling for upon their land, apart from the fact that there is no unity. The Itsekiri will never join the Ijaw and the Kalahari will war with Nembe, even Bakassi region has its share of internal squabbles. My advice to ND people, take out the militants before they destroy their region for you and wipe out the middle class. |
Buhari |
beopened:They have stolen your oil subsidy money, 400000 barrel per day stolen oil and unbelievable corruption to tell LIES to you that they are winning against Nigerians. |
Change is a mantra that does not need a preponderance of details. Just a few key points are enough. Let PDP, the new opposition party keep making a hitherto unconvincing case why they should be reflected. |
Buhari for president abeg. |
I just did a quick one in Lagos by phone and talking to people. Buhari is leading Jonathan by a ratio of 2:1. Agbaje is doing very well, too close to call. For Rivers, Buhari is actual leading in Portharcourt metropolis now which was not so in the last three weeks but one is not sure of what is happening in the hinterland. |
MansaMoussa:Jonathan cannot wake up. Don't you look at his face. The man is a gonner. He has lost control of his presidency, his government, his army and his honour. I don't know why people can't see the obvious. |
He is going to WIN and you are going to be one of the beneficiaries of his good performance. Lazy, confused, corrupt and cowardlynGood luck as bleeped up big time, Chadian troops are now inside Nigeria, FG will start massive purge in February or start borrowing heavily again. They are already selling another $1bn of bonds this week alone. Let the local ijaw man go back to waterside and let us have some serious gov't for a change. |
$63bm. That is how much Jonathan has prepared for you and your generation (friends) to pay as national debt. They did not even tell you when they were doing it, saying you were too small. You better start and finish nursery and primary education in time and start working at the age of 11. Meanwhile same government made $110 per barrel of crude oil more than any other government in Nigeria ever. Your parents have been praying against destiny manipulators (which in a way is like witchcraft by social institutions). God has answered their prayers and that is why this government is going down very painfully on 14th February, 2015. |
