On the flip side buhari is for everyone and how far?

Trump does not say it like it is. He lies and is mortally afraid of facing his own issues. He is also not building his country. The country is becoming third world like every day. He wants to encourage coal production, build oil pipelines everywhere and roll back environmental protection.
The country is losing ground to China and Europe everyday.
Go to US airports now, old tired white faces everywhere. The country is a demographic disaster and their problems have just started with this crude, inferior local businessman they have put the complex machinery of government under.
Trump is a relic of the past (Dynasty TV series era) . Stop fawning over him because he is white and rich ...education should equip you with critical thinking faculties.

buhari and atiku had a deal to form apc.
i believe now that, the deal was one tenor each for both of them.

if buhari stays 8 years, atiku cannot be the next president. Becos all parties will have to zone presidency away from the north.

2019 is atiku's last chance at presidency in at least the next 8 -12 years.

BU-bu wont win that 2019 election.. He doesnt have to because he will get presidential gratuity and pensions now..

why suffer another 4years with risk of dying there?

This is wishful thinking by someone who wants Buhari out and is desperately rationalizing an Atiku presidency

He will win second term.
He did not invent fuel scarcity. It started with IBB/Abacha and was elevated to high art during PDP.

The GEJ regime temporarily controlled it in one of the most corrupt, wholesale robbery operations the third world has ever seen and we must not have it again.

Nigeria's problems are too fundamental for 4 years to solve. The problem may even be too much capitalism and free market. People are parasitic, lazy, wicked, anxious and desperate.

Everybody looks at his personal issues, family financial problem, gets desperate and goes out to commit legal or moral crimes - fuel hoarding, kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution, yahoo yahoo, money rituals, human trafficking.

The country needs sanity but if Buhari tries half ofbthe things he did in1984 to control it, this soft unintelligent generation will go into mass complaint.

The worst thing would be to vote someone like Atiku now. We will give Buhari till 2023. If you dontnlume this statement well you have no other choice.

Buhari is the ONLY Nigerian politician tackling fundamental issues of human character that is weakening Nigeria. You may not like him or even like me saying it.

He will do two good terms. He needs the second term to do terrible things to the corrupt, weak, parasitic culture killing Nigeria even the type coming from the north and especially within the North.

Jonathan was a corrupt, degenerate weakling. The current fuel scarcity is human made. If Buhari uses his 1984 methods, you weak ajebota generation cannot cope because imprisonment and firing squads will scare you. The fuel scarcity is man made (within NNPC, marketers, unions et.c) It will fizzle out in January.

you only need the one 40 mill pipe then everybody will joins up with their own 1 mill pipe. or everyone cluster in Niger delta.
stupid is waiting till you have 9 billion before refining

Please come up with a conceptual design that achieves this via clustering in the ND below $40million.
Barging is actually the better solution and it is very very expensive operationally. Your country is peopled by lazy young people who also feel entitled.

The solution we have advocated is co-location and expansion of existing refineries using current infrastructure.

That is how it is done in countries where people don't look stupid because they like money andcdont want to work.

Politics / Re: Why Nigeria cannot grow Large Corporations and what the igbos must do Now by Adminisher: 9:46am On Dec 22, 2017
kettykin:
This thread is about why Nigeria cannot grow Large, world class Corporations like Google , Facebook , Samsung, Hyundai, Kia , Toyota, Honda Toshiba.

Nigeria is really finished ,if the only indigenous car Manufacturer in Africa was bundled like a terrorist and a criminal to lagos by no lesss a body than the Nigerian Police while his wife was given a hot slap for her audacity to question why her husband was being arrested then there is really no hope for the average startup in Nigeria.
we can from the Innosson Debacle is that if his business was situated in Lagos , Abuja , Kano or Kano by now the business would have been closed down and sealed by EFCC.

Igbos Need to rethink their business Model if Innoson , Ibeto , Ifeanyi Uba can be harrassed by Law Enforcement agents while Dangote,Adenuga , Maina, Jimoh Ibrahim are free from harrassment then there is big , irreconciliable problems about our existentialism in Nigeria.
Best and safest bet by igbo business men , Open eastern Branches in the East in Nnewi , Ontisha, Aba, Owerri, Enugu etc
Operate Eastern branch to the best of your ability in 2018.Gradually shift business focus to the Eastern Branch.

Benefits of Relocating Businesses To The East
1. safety of investments in the event that Nigerian experiment goes sour and disintegration becomes iminent.
2. Imunity from untold hardship from business closure from red eyed security officers over trivial issues
3. Immunity from the harrassment of Area boys and street urchins in Lagos
4. immunity from the double taxation of Goverments that dont hate your person
5.immunity from the Government directives to relocate businesses without adequate notice and preparation like Computer village.
6. Tax free incentives from Enugu ,Anambra ,Abia goverments.
7.Robust business environment in Onitsha ,Aba and Niger delta states.
8.Immunity from over zealous market Leaders known as Iyalojas who impose illegal taxes to be remited to APC leaders
9. Immunity from ritual killers, gang robbers , cultist etc
10. Immunity from the incessant burning of Markets during festive seasons
11. Immunity from the incessant demolition of Markets with goods destroyed during festive seasons

This is a dumb post. INNOSONS is already in the SE. His market however is more 10x more than the SE and he has sourced part of operating loans from a Bank with HQ in the SW.
His main customer now is the FG that is currently headed by a northerner.

Please where are you going with this local mentality and parochial thinking?.

You guys are just playing yourselves out of life itself with half educated mindset and mass delusions of persecution.

Atiku has always come third. In 1993 SDP's presidential convention in Jos, he came third behind Kingibe and Abiola. In 2007 presidential election, he again cane third with 2m+votes as against Buhari with 6m+votes and Yar'adua who had 24m+votes. Also, he was a distant third in the 2015 presidential nomination of APC where he queued behind Kwankwoso and Buhari. The third-man should be his second name in politics. Atiku does not have the followership that some ascribe to him. He is a lightweight

He is a caucus politician. He can seat in a roomful of "big" politicians and win support but in front of the masses , he will fail.

Your wisdom is questionable.

The people that believed modular refineries will come in months are the stupid ones. The whole of the Niger Delta is peopled by tribes who don't understand things like hardwork, patient determination, discipline, delayed gratification. That is why they would believe that capital projects and uneconomic ones at that will just fall from God's perfect sky.

then why do they build modular refineries if it's only profitable at scale. you can say more profitable but not completely un profitable. at least cost of transport to and fro will substitute for lack of scale. nearness to market will offset any other refining cost

The cost transportation is annoying. You cannot build a $40million pipeline to a $10million refinery for each refinery. People are not thinking. It is even the transport cost that makes modular refineries unworkable. They will receive crude from terminals and crude oil quality control centres by BARGE. That is the only way...and my friend, it is extremely STUPID

I remembered quite well during the buildup to the 2015 election; APC promised to build modular refineries in months. As of today only Dangote refinery which is a private initiative, which may not come online till 2020.
Please where are the promised refineries; because this fuel scarcity is hard on us the populace? God bless Nigeria.

You have to understand how international EPC works. You do studies, you do front end design, you do detailed design, you specify equipment, you select OEMs, then they manufacture, then they invite you to come and test, then they transport, then you errect on site, then you commission.

Does this appear to you to be a two-year thing?

People are so ignorant in Nigeria yet talk, talk and talk.

The modular refinery idea itself is very STUPID. We have said many times it is uneconomic and will not work. This national tendency of looking for short cuts will not work.

Refinery business can only be done profitably at scale ( >250000 barrels a day) and should produce many by products.

Anyway thank you for knowing Danone refinery will not run till 2020.

Oh stop this. All so called corruption were discovered and exposed by APC itself. The only corrupt party in Nigeria is PDP. In 2015, the major reason why Buhari won the north by landslide was because they wanted presidency and he was contesting against a southerner, had PDP presented a northern candidate, Buhari will have lost woefully.

I stayed in minna for 7yrs and I can tell you authoritatively that buhari has lost support due to his landslide failure, during the 2015 election, you don't dare talk about Jonathan, you will be injured, but now people are criticizing him with pride.
Now, if Buhari is contesting with a fellow northerner, he will definitely win the north but not a wide margin like it happened in 2015.

He will NE, NW with like 70-30 and he will loose north central, due to the Fulani herdsmen, and the governors from there have been performing woefully, SW is going to be divided, SS and SE will massively vote for PDP, come rain come shine.

Don't forget that one of the reasons why buhari won was also due to the governors that left PDP for APC.

Though the election is still far but I do not see buhari winning without rigging the election..

Buhari is winning hands down. In spite of a stiff hardness about him, Buhari has good political instincts. You will see unbelievable moves in 2018/2019.
