mikeansy: The debate must go-ahead with or without Buhari!
There should be a podium for Buhari. It is up to him to turn up or not.
Let PDP go ahead and debate with other members of the opposition.
This will turn out to be a very fatal political mistake for APC. Although we know that Buhari probably can not stand for the length of the debate due to health reasons. You think so?. I think Jonathan drops off the debates in two days as well. |

agabaI23: I am not going argue with you because I don't know much about IT but I will ask a genuine question 1. How can explain the fact that the IP address that multiply voted for Buhari had a stepwise increase of 1 at exactly the same time of the day? 12:59 and then 12:59 and then 14:11?
A good cheat will definitely give some votes to GEJ to avoid suspicion. AIT is lying. Nobody does an online poll that is capable of being compromised in this manner. The design of the security for many polling software packages is robust enough to detect and disallow multiple voting. This all justifies why Buhari rejected the Presidential debates. |

firstEVA: Why should Buhari go for the debate when he may not be treated fairly, did he not go for the debate in 2011? It was Jonathan that didn't attend then because they refused to send him the questions before hand. Now that Jonathan has decided to go, it is obvious (based on the calibre of people organising the shit) that he has been sent the question. So why should Buhari go for such an even which may be aimed at making Jonathan appear smarter than he actually is. Buhari you have taken the right decision, debate or not we know your capabilities. It is a very courageous and actually ARROGANT decision on the part of the APC. On the same day or close to that day, Buhari and Osinbajo have a road show and interactive session in Lagos with business leaders and civil society that will steal the thunder from the NTA/AIT debate. I like the audacity of the decision not to go for the debate. The mystique of Buhari is preserved. Let Jonathan go and debate with lightweight, especially the woman presidential candidate of that other party who will make him look like an uneducated kid. After all Jonathan was absent at the last debates in 2011 because of lack of expo which Buhari attended. |

I want to bet N10000 that Jonathan himself will withdraw from the debate as well. What they were planning was childish and the APC has the chance now to plan their ambush on Jonathan at the debates. Just a wait and see, either Jonathan withdraws or he runs into serious ambush and commits unforced errors that will further destroy his 're election bid. |

That was the first in world history that a military head of state would be shoved out of power like a servant. After that, he was jailed for an act of cowardice. Gen Buhari was only good at bullying bloody civilians. General Buhari did not run away from office like many heads of state who were overthrown in Africa. The coup that overthrew Shagari was done by IBB, Abacha and Domkat Bali, Buhari was the one invited to give credibility somthat the army could be united. So IBB was only being politically astute to quickly win these guys Bali, Abacha and Dongoyaro to his side quickly enough. Ojukwu was one of the only known cowards in Nigeria who left poor civilians to the mercies of the federal army and ran away second was probably Diya. Even IBB who did the coup was only just lucky because he moved faster and had the backing of Abiola and his CIA links. IBB was going to have him arrested and he struck first.. Idiagbon who was abroad also came back into the country without any fear. |

Politics › Re: These Are My Reasons For Supporting Goodluck Jonathan!!!! by Adminisher: 12:36pm On Jan 29, 2015 |
Tearg1: Some of the decision of President Goodluck Jonathan has not gone down well with some of leaders and Moneybags of APC, as he closed some of their sources of defrauding Nigeria.
READ AND BE WISE. 1] Majority of the Oil Blocks license in Nigeria will be expiring in few months and many of them are scared that President Jonathan might not renew their licence. They want to him out by all means to retain the Oil blocks license.
2] They were hurt them President Jonathan ended their subsidy fraud. Govt reduced the payment from N1.4Trillion in 2011 to less than N400Billion in 2013 and yet their is no scarcity of Fuel in the last 3 years.
3] Jonathan sold off NEPA and ended their fraudulent NEPA contracts. Now local and International companies are building their power plants to stabilize Power. They will not use any NEPA staff to put SALT on our Power plants again to put everyone in darkness.
4] Jonathan removed 57,000 ghost workers and 43,756 Ghost Pensioners from civil service and reduce their wealth. These rogues are using their wealth to pay newspapers, Online media blogs to be lying and sharing propaganda against the President. The Ignorants joined them to shout CHANGE. Are they changing to re-employ the removed Ghost workers or the Pensioners. Be warned about the CHANGE they want you to Vote For.
5] The President handed NPA verification to a third party and eliminated port frauds. They do not benefit anymore, by dubiously seizing People goods and turning round to buy them in Auction. It is now 24 hours operation and surveillance giving no room for their agents to steal or frustrate Importers. They want their evil reign to return. That is their CHANGE.
6] The cabals were hurt when Jonathan blocked their monopoly of fertilizer distribution and now supply straight to real farmers at a discounted prices. Farmers do not go through Ward chairmen, Party Excos, Politicians or any 'Timber and Caliber' to get Fertilizer.
7] They want Jonathan out by all means, he blocked their hoarding of petroleum product and stopped Nigerians from sleeping at filling stations and many roasted alive in any event of fire outbreak in filling stations. Their black market business has been destroyed by Jonathan's proper management of the supply of these Products and because of this, they ruled that he has failed. Jonathan did not fail Honest Nigerians, but he failed the Oil Profiteers and thieves. . 8] Jonathan's re-introduction of One-man-one-vote did not go down well with them. With Soldiers, Police, Secret Police, Civil Defense at Polling Units, Ballot box snatching and stuffing is now a thing of the past. They made you to believe that Jonathan has failed because Polling units are no more in people's seating room. You forget that the President Party won only in 1 of the 4 governorship election conducted when started his tenure in 2011. Imo - APGA, Anambra - APGA, Edo - APC, Osun - APC, Ekiti - PDP. This will NEVER happen during OBJ government.
9] They want Jonathan out of office because they are aware that the 2016 Census will correct the Population lies imposed on Nigerians over 60 years ago. They are MAD that Jonathan will use conduct electronic census, where only Human beings will be counted and zero chance of one person counted twice. THIS IS THE CHANGE YOU ARE HEARING.
10] Nigeria grows its food now, trains are running, our Airports are of international standard, Our roads are safer and motorable, University funding doubled and more Build to admit more Jambites, Our street children in the North (Almajiri) are given opportunity to learn and live in comfortable school Hostels and eating good food, not left-overs, 13 local Motor assembling and Manufacturing company relocates to Nigeria, 9 Local and International Power companies building their power plants since last year to improve of electricity need. ONE WILL ASK, WHAT CHANGE ARE THESE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT?
Jonathan has shown Nigerians what real democracy supposed to be. He is not killing or jailing his opponents or those that insulted him in the Media cannot be seen as a weakness, but his respect to the law and life. He never sent anyone to prison for a mere allegation of corruption with prove. He allowed them fair and independent hearing by those charged with this responsibility.
These shows his Meek spirit and understanding that he cannot build a better Nigeria alone and that we need every hands in deck to achieve a bigger, better, prosperous and peaceful Nigeria. God Bless Nigeria. So Nigeria was not growing its food before, trains were not running before, fuel scarcity was not absent before?. Please vet an education. Ghost workers were absent during Buhari's time but actually grew during Jonathan's time. Please think and be honest to yourself about ghost workers, they only discovered them during the last budget cycle after they found there was going to be reduced earnings. Nigeria is a sophisticated country and we cannot have a clueless government telling lies and obfuscating facts to confuse us to give another four years to a man who has nothing to lose and will merely destroy the country and run. NO INTELLIGANT MAN OR WOMAN SHOULD VOTE FOR GOODLUCK JINATHAN |

I challenge the Buhari supporters give me 10 things Buhari has achieved for this country. 1] Goodluck Jonathan signed FOI bill that Obasanjo refused to sign and you join then in saying that Goodluck is bad. 2] Goodluck approved N18,000 Minimum wage from N7,500 Which Obasanjo refused to sign and you say that Goodluck is bad and NYSC allowance from N7,500 to nearly approved N39,500, yet they say he is bad. 3] Goodluck dualized federal roads (about 25,000km) which Obasanjo and past Govts abandoned and you say Goodluck is bad. 4] The rail system is working now, with little budget But Obasanjo Sunk billions of dollars without result, other pasts leader ignored and you say that Goodluck is bad. 5] Goodluck has been conducting free and fair elections whereas the ones conducted under Obasanjo are Shameful and national disgrace yet you say Goodluck is bad. 6] Goodluck established 12 new universities, 9 in the North to improve learning and knowledge and increase the Jambites admission rate, yet you say that Goodluck is bad. 7] Goodluck established the Almajiri system for Northern abandoned street children and those deprived of education by their own people and you say Goodluck is bad. 8] Goodluck has been building dams and improving the country's power from 2500mW to 6,000MW - And successfully privatized the sector which many analyst believed is the best way to go and you joined them say that Goodluck is bad. 9] Agriculture have been revamped and for the first time in Nigerian history, Food prices came down during Christmas, instead of skyrocketing and you say that he is a bad President. 10] 2013 and 2014 was the Christmas in Nigeria, where Nigerian did not sleep in filling stations for 3 to 4 days to get Petrol or 100s of people being roasted alive in attempts to get fuel in petrol stations, wickedly, you joined them to say that our God given President is not performing. 11] Airports are wearing world class looks and every zone have International airport and you say Goodluck is bad. 12] This administration has employed more people in their 5years in office than any other in the history of Nigeria [Via Agric, Energy sector,16 New Car Companies, 12 New Universities, 3,826 primary Health care Centers, Teaching Hospitals] SURE-P, YOUWIN and you say Goodluck is bad.
Now do you think that General Muhammadu Buhari will perform magic, which he could not do when he was in his 40s, if you vote him? What else do they want from President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan? Why don't you add as well that Jomathan was paying government workers salaries regularly and most hospitals have injections. It is disgraceful some of the things been trumpeted as achievement of Jonathan. Even if Shekau were president a lot of these things would still have been achieved. Even Idi Amin achieved basic governmental functions. |

Did you DELIBERATELY SKIP any of the above in YOUR LIST?
Do you not think you should group all your 11 items under one or two headings of the 10 items above?
Or do you not agree with the 10 items in my list? Actually No. 4 is the only one of importance for a President. Defence and Security is the only job of President followed by rule of law and corruption. In all other areas we only trust him to employ the right people for the job and that is why we always have to look at his leadership skills. Jonathan has ZERO leadership skills Please read your constitution and the oath of office of the President. Nobody bites a President for health, agriculture and education, they vote for the party they like based on their programs in these areas but the presidency is another matter entirely.. These things like health, education, agriculture et.c are so basic and important in human needs analysis and every government provides them. Even Idi Amin of Uganda did well in agriculture and Abacha did better on education and health than Jonathan. A lot of Jonathan supporters demote their own candidate by saying he revamped railways and built universities. RUBBISH. His first job is defence and security of Nigeria. |

IBB said a lot of very sensible things at the interview, it was one the best interview I have ever observed from him in recent years, most of the time with IBB it has always been difficult to hear him say anything od substance, always hedging and doging . However during this interview, IBB did not ENDORSE ANY CANDIDATE.
I think Jonathan has already lost the elections. We are waiting for Adeboye's son to denounce the 'fake' polls and extricate his family name from obvious falsehood. 5 million people polled in Nigeria is a lie from the pit of hell. It is similar to another one by CLEEN. They did not go to five NE states and produced a 51-49% advantage to Jonathan with a margin of error of 5%. Meaning the polls were tied without even considering where Buhari was strongest. Buhari has been winning most online polls hands down. The few that Jonathan has won have been with a marging of +/-3% including this unbelievable 5million people, yet many people know that 3/4 of voters up north don't have internet and phones but have PVCs.
