My own experience is that bricklayers take about N6000 per day labor inclusiveto lay a hundred blocks. So you would be looking at about N120000 to lay 2000 blocks

Please I will prefer if we can continue this thread as it is quite informative to nairalanders.

I will also like professionals like civil engineers,architects and quantity surveyors to drop their two cents or more of wisdom every once in a while without feeling their progression is threatened.

In an environment where people are being ripped off by lazy and inexperienced get rich by all means quacks posing as professionals. It is actually refreshing to have this kind of knowledge to arm oneself with.

And for the inexperienced professionals who feels threatened, note that giving helpful hints won't take away from your marketability but will help build trust and let the client know what to expect and properly build a budget for his project.

I really don't understand you guys. Are you angry with a man in an impoverished country for killing an animal to eat.
These animals were put on earth for man to eat. Please dont be brainwashed by the western world who have fed fat on their own wild life (killing them for fun at times in order to just stuff them or hang their heads on their walls) and are now encouraging men in impoverished countries to ignore theirs in the face of hunger.
To hell with conservation. If ur lucky to find an elephant. Kill it and eat for days, then sell the ivory for pocket change.

These animals are already very rare in Nigeria because people continue to kill them. It's supposed to be a crime to kill animals like this, but people kill them and even post it on social medias.

I have an I pass my neighbor Generator. Recently, sometimes when I put on my Generator the power will be normal, other times it will run very high that my ceiling fan will run so fast I will be afraid it will break.
In the last one week the gen destroyed 3 laptop chargers and several energy saving light bulbs.
I bought a two hundred watt bulb to put on when power is high to drain the power. The bulb blew after one hour.
Sometimes the power will go down by itself after a few hours.
But using the generator is a risk.
Please what can be the problem and how can It be fixed?

There is nowhere in the original article where they say they weren't making profit in Nigeria.

I think the main reason for the shutdown was to consolidate and streamline the activities of the company for effective management.
They probably have other reasons but I don't think profit is one of them
