The brake light is working well. Pls can it be electrical or is my cvt gearbox gone?

The engine oil is leaking everytime, not much but it happens everyday. I took it to a service centre and I was told I have to change the oil filter.. note, it was serviced less than a month ago.

The filter was changed and the engine oil changed again. But today it leaked again overnight, few drops too.

Anyone can advise on what to do?

I bought this car told 4months ago. All was okay but this has been happening since the first time i serviced it.

Is your button plate Ok? Also check your engine oil seal rubber.

Most Golf4 cars have electrical issues. Another issue is the bottom plate is made with aluminum and the car suspension is too low for Nigeria roads. The aluminum can hit a stone or any hard object and get damage. Getting that button plate is not easy to come by. Only some manual Golf4 comes with the same button plate of golf3.

Finally the engine is not as durable as golf3. And have u seen taxi driver with golf 4.
Have u ever wondered why most Golf4 on Jiji that looks beautiful are far cheaper than golf 3(

Please don't be deceived that you can get a Golf 3 that is good for #300,000. It is not a rule. I went to Kaduna looking for Golf 3 as my first car with 300k but coundn't get a good one. I ended up buying the one of 400k and I spent close to 200K yet the car was still problematic. I ended up selling it at 450k and bought another Golf for 500k and had rest of mind till date. Belgium Golf 3 is up to #1.1m. Cars that are less problematic are no longer cheap. I am also in Abuja.
